Good location, directly across the road from the train station and close to the main sites. Breakfast was good, fair choice and good quality. Staff were pleasant and helpful, only thing that really lets the hotel down is the bar. The bar itself is fine but the seating isn’t very welcoming. All in all a decent hotel more than acceptable for a 3 night stay in Bologna

We had a very nice stay at yhis hotel. The check in staff were very courteous and helpful. The bartender was very nice as well. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was large and the tub was hugh. The main reason for choosing this hotel was its close proximity to the train station, right across the street.

Limited bread choice. Coffee in the pots was cold. Should have had a coffee machine. Mirror needed above bedroom unit. Noisy corridors. No restaurant although menu on display. Expensive for what it offered.

The hotel was clearly recently remodeled or built but not very well maintained. The toilet broke the same day and the shower had some mold. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is located right in front of the train station and 25min walk to the main catedral.

When we went to shower, the tub was backing up with yellow water and floating debris. Since we were already late to our show,we now had to leave without taking a shower .This small studio room was over $600.00 per night ! After complaining to the staff, we were left 2 cocktail vouchers . As it was , I was paying for 3 nights and only staying two. I think they should have done a bit more .

Et helt greit hotell i nærheten av togstasjonen. Kort vei å gå inn til byen. Sengene var på hjul, så de flyttet seg dessverre litt. To ganger fikk vi håndklær med flekker, noe som ikke er så innbydende. En gang begynte de å rengjøre rommet vårt mens vi var på frokost, så da vi kom tilbake, var rengjøringen midt i arbeidet. Hotellet ser litt finere ut på bildene enn i virkeligheten, men alt i alt et greit opphold.

The hotel is in a very good location near the Bologna Central Station. The room was clean but the bathroom was in poor condition. There was a leak from the bathtub, the toilet didn’t flush which is why I am not giving them a higher rating. The hotel needs an upgrade.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean, the rooms spacious & comfortable. Nice choices for breakfast and the room was sunny and bright. The location was ideal for us by the train station and to the center of the city. Very Enjoyable!

My husband and I stayed only one night at this hotel and I would say the hotel in general was above average. The bed was comfortable, the staff is friendly and efficient, and all the essentials were provided (bottle of wine too). The breakfast buffet was great with a lot of variety, easily the best thing of our stay. What mostly docked points for us was the cleanliness and the shower drainage. The room felt dusty and while the bathroom was clean, the shower was oddly designed. The glass pane only covered up to 1/4 of the length of the tub so water was getting outside the tub and the drain was very very slow. Again we only stayed for one night so we're really looking for functionality and convenience, and I think the hotel delivered on that front.

I had WiFi problem in my room, it was on and off, asked the front desk to change room, request was denied, so I had problems booking train tickets, and other tickets. On the third day, there was no WiFi connection, different front desk person changed room for me, and he was attentive and apologetic, so over all I have mixed feelings about this hotel.

The room could have used a kettle for tea. The tub needs upkeep. Like the speaker in the bathroom but no volume control, speaker had too much static. Prefer glassware to plastic cups. The style needs updating.

The hotel was in a great location, easy walking to the centre of the city, a lot of nearby eateries and shops. The staff were all friendly and all spoke English, and even though it was opposite the railway station and Via Emilia, it was very quiet both during the day and the evening. The Marconi Express made it a seven minute ride from the airport which was a great bonus.!

If you are looking for a basic hotel across from the train station with an average breakfast and average clean I suppose this hotel fits the bill, but it was not for me. I stayed here as a friend booked first so I joined and booked a room as well. I found the initial reception lovely, but later when I asked for ONE extra water from the front desk staff the man would not give it to me, and he was rude. The room itself was frightening, to say the least, with blood red walls and mysterious faux Asian script above the bed. My daughter and I likened it to Escape room meets an early Cronenberg film. We were glad that we woke up alive and well to at least enjoy the patio with the mediocre breakfast. The wait staff were lovely, lively and hustling to please customers. I found the hotel cold and without a soul, it has the potential to be so much more.

The staff provided exceptional service, especially during check-in and check-out, which were both excellent experiences. The breakfast was also very satisfying. While the room service and in-room amenities left a bit to be desired, the location was outstanding—making it very convenient for traveling to other cities. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Bologna. 😊

My wife and I checked out from the hotel on 31 March close to midday and left our luggage in the storage as our flight was on 1 April at 6 am. We returned to the hotel late in the evening and stayed in the lobby until we collected our bags around 2:15 am. When we were leaving the hotel, the same attendant who handed us the luggage asked if we were checking out and started asking weird questions, insinuating we were leaving without paying. First of all, our stay was pre-paid. Secondly, if our bags were in the storage, clearly we had checked out. I find that the attendant lacked training to behave like that. On top of that, the rooms at the hotel were very hot, and we could not set the temperature below 25°C. I do not think this is a chain problem, as our experience with Unahotels San Vitale was much better and without any incidents.

Fantastic location and virtually across the road from Bologna Centrale (train station) and a 15min walk, if that to Piazza Maggiore. Given all the tram works and scaffolding around the centre of Bologna, I highly recommend staying near the train station. It is quiet and safe. The hotel rooms are large and have all your needs covered. The breakfast was included, it was ample with plenty to choose from. Highly recommend UNA Bologna.

Love this UNA hotel for its proximity to Bologna Centrale and its wonderful buffet breakfast. Rooms clean and comfortable and quiet. Nice staff and close to places to grab a bite. Neighbourhood a little … sketchy later at night, but with a little focus and a purposeful walk, all is good.
