The mattress was very uncomfortable, no water fountains in the building, limited room service menu, breakfast buffet was the same everyday and limited, nothing is included. Be aware of daily tax rate, no free shuttle service. The shuttle is more expensive than taxi. Recommend you download it taxis app on your phone. It is a very quiet location and right across the street from the U.S. embassy. They have a very small indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and tiny area for spa services in the basement floor.

Very impressed with this hotel. The staff were extremely attentive and we were upgraded to a suite on check in. The spa facilities were excellent, this needs to be booked in advance but you are offered exclusivity of the pool and spa area. The breakfast was very good too. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our 4th trip to Rome. This was our favorite hotel. We will stay here again on our next trip. My only complaint was that one of the two elevators was out of service. However we still enjoyed our stay. Also I would recommend when booking to pre pay for breakfast.

Hotel room was great. It was cleaned in the morning, but then had to request coffee several days. They came several times a day: to bring towels in the evening, water in the afternoon and coffee whenever they got around to it. Once in the evening after 10 pm. Over all, good service. Tried booking day trips, which I had done at many other 5 star hotels, but, they would only book private tours which were over $1,000 Euros. Heat in room did not work. I had to constantly call to have the front desk turn it on from the desk. The temperature at night was in the low 40s. Spa: had to reserve the pool and hot tub. 50 minute reservation to use. Private time. Would be great, but while we were using, they gave 2 gentleman a tour. Fortunately we were not showering, which is wide open, we were in the sauna in bathing suits. Overall a great place. We would definitely stay here again.

Whilst the hotel was generally very nice, we were not able to use the swimming pool which was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. We apparently had to book which we were not told and this was very disappointing to my son in particular who has looked forward to it. Given what we paid, the fact we did not have access made it very poor value.

The rooms pictured weren’t offered. We got an outdated room with brown carpet and dark features. There were also ants crawling around the bathroom and I spotted an ant running across my shoe. While they are tiny, it just wasn’t a pleasant experience. I’m disappointed that we didn’t get a remodeled room. I only booked this hotel because of the rooms shown in the websites. It’s not worth the $400+ a night I spent.

I didn’t like the hotel. The area was kind of dirty. A hotel is outdated .carpets in the hallways aren’t very clean. The bathroom didn’t have adequate window covering so the building across The rooms Across the alley could completely see you while you’re showering. We had to shower with the lights off. I could see in their rooms with the lights on so they could definitely see in our bathroom with our light on . the hotel is outdated and they have carpeting in the hallways. It’s really like a mishmash. It’s not very nice.

I like the hotel. It’s very nice. We had the superior room on the 7th floor with a small balcony overlooking the city. Great views of the Pantheon. I don’t particularly love the neighborhood though because it feels very not like Rome, lots of large boulevard. Feels more like mainstream Paris which I guess couldn’t be helped. The shower in our room was meh at best. No overhead shower. We only one small hold spray with a lose holder. Every time we turn on the shower it sprays the ceiling of the shower. The glass panel didn’t do anything to stop water so the floor including in front of the toilet and bidet ended up wet which would have been fine if not for the slippery floor that can be hazardous. Luckily only had to stay for one night before departure, otherwise would have asked for a different room. Staff is lovely. Food option is a bit more scared and the crowds are much less if you like to people watch.

No where to sit anything, bed side tables too small to put anything on, so had to put stuff on the floor Not a decent chair to sit on in the suite. Bathroom nice and spacious, but very disappointed with the room. Breakfast was very poor offerings for a 5 Star hotel. No one at all interested in telling you what they had available or even give you eye contact or a cheerful good morning at all. I would not book this Hotel again.

This hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location for sightseeing. It’s near the Villa Borghese and right across the street from the American Embassy. But our stay was not without some problems. We booked the room well in advance of our stay but the room we were given was an “attic” room with a sloping ceiling taking up 1/3 of the space. I was exhausted from the trip and didn’t say anything until later in the stay when I had hit my head on the ceiling for the 5th time. Management was very responsive, offering a different room and a bottle of brut. Water in the shower ran hot and cold and there was no drawer space at all. Website pictures are very misleading and certainly no mention of an attic room. Had dinner one night in the dining room which was very nice. I love Rome and I’ll be back but it will be a different hotel.

Grand Palace was very accommodating, were traveling through Italy and we got to the hotel at 10am and they were able to put us up right away. Staff was great, we left for a few hrs and came back to a bottle of champagne in our room and treats from housekeeping. Would def stay here again

The location could not be better, almost all centra historical locations in walking distance. Rooms not big but well appointed, mine had a lovely balcony. Staff kind, friendly, and attentive. Highly recommended, I will be staying here again.

The hotel was in a great location and staff is very friendly. We did notice that when we ate breakfast at the hotel, the staff was very unorganized and did not seem to know what they were doing. They seemed lost and overwhelmed. But overall we had a good stay.
