Hotel is a bit dated from the 90's with strange paint effects on the floor and the shower floor was seriously peeling but overall a pleasant hotel. Super central and was friendly. The roof top bar was nice.

Like many have said before, this is not a 5-star hotel. Far from it. The room was beautiful, big, spacious, great view. And the breakfast was very good, with great views. But the issues were many: first, parking is 5 blocks away from the hotel, there’s no one there to either pick you up or help you carry your bags. First time I tried walking in, sweaty, carrying my bags, the entrance guy stopped me and started asking me questions as if I was doing something wrong. The facilities are not in order, the bathtub leaked water, its drain plug was broken, there’s no room service, wifi internet doesn’t work. Anyways, it didn’t ruin our stay or anything close, I enjoyed Rome and like I said, the room was great.

We were only LeGriffe for one night, but found it to be clean and handy to Roma termini. There is an excellent rooftop bar restaurant with a wonderful view of Rome. The pillows in the room we stayed in were lacking. If we had stayed there longer than one night, we would’ve asked for pillows that weren’t so flat. Otherwise, the hotel is nice.

The hotel was great. We had no issues with the rooms themselves. There was construction going on in the room next door so it was a bit noisy during the day if we were there but we were out most of the time so didn’t bother much. Great rooftop with amazing views for breakfast and cocktail hours. Good location too, only 20 min walk to the colosseum and Spanish steps.

Mycket i rummet var trasigt. Uttagen höll på att komma ur väggen, det fanns inte heller tillräckligt med uttag. Handtaget till fönstret satt löst. Det var fläckar på väggen. Dammigt i badrummet. Lampor och andra metalstänger som var som var trasiga i rummet och badrummet. Fick en smutsig handduk med vad som såg ut som mascarafläckar. Handdukarna hade även konstig lukt. Toalettsitsen var trasigt. Duschen var väldigt ofräsch med sprickor och förkalkningar på glas och duschhuvud. Däremot vr personalen trevlig och hade bra erbjudanden.

The best thing about this hotel is the location! Located close to shopping, & the Via Milano area. The hotel is old & very musty. It needs updating badly! There were 4 of us in our group in 3 different rooms on different floors. Our room was nice & large BUT was spread out on two levels with the beds & bath upstairs. The steps were glass, steep, & slippery. You did not want to be walking down them in socks especially if you are an older adult. Since neither of us were able to carry our suitcases up the stairs, we were constantly running up & down to get ready. The beds were hard as a rock but were clean. The bathroom, though, was another issue. There was mold growing not only in the shower but you could see the stains of mildew creeping up the wall behind the door. Since I am very sensitive to mold, I was ill by the time I left the hotel. The wall overlooking the downstairs living area & door to the bathroom are both frosted glass. You are able to see the silhouette of the person who is in the bathroom. The front desk people were usually rude with the exception of one girl. She was helpful. The breakfast was different than anywhere I have been in Europe before. They didn’t have much protein except extremely runny scrambled eggs, “bacon”, and luncheon meats. They did have sandwiches which were one thin slice of luncheon meat & cheese between focaccia bread. They actually had “pigs in a blanket” our first morning there. I grabbed the last one. Those were good but ran out.

We had the suite and firstly it was very old and outdated, and in some sense a little dirty (scratches and stains on the walls). It did have. An amazing king size bed and very spacious living as well as bedroom. It also had a sauna and a little gym which was surprising. Hot tub on the other hand was full of scratches and didn’t even want to take the risk of using it since we couldn’t tell if it was actually clean. Breakfast was pretty good.

It was clear from reading reviews that this wasn’t going to be a 5 star hotel so my expectations were pretty low. However despite the rooms condition there are some positives Location was excellent especially if travelling around italy by train. 10mins to termini and an easy walk. A few mins from the republica metro and easy walking to lots of main attractions on average 20mins to most. To the main hotel areas, these were all clean and closer to 4 star standard. The room we stayed in 321 a delux room was very tired. It had good space and the bed was comfortable but had scratchy cheap sheets. A lot of the light fittings, clothes hooks were poorly fitted and looked like they were about to fall off. Tv was smaller than advertised but had a good amount of channels. The bath whilst big was supposed to be a whirlpool but this didn’t work and had a random screw protruding from the bottom so we had to watch our toes. The walls need a good paint they appeared dirty to look at. The cleaners though did a great job at making the tired space as clean as possible which is hard when so many things need some work. Is this value for money? Well it is cheaper than any other 5 star by a high amount but I’d rather it was just advertised as a 3/4 star and then I would say it is probably value for money

I read many bad reviews before my stay and it was so unlike the reality. Very clean and staff were charming and very efficient. There might have been a few minor updates to decor of you were looking for fault. The bedding was exceptional and the show one of the best I have had in hotels .

Hotellet havde 5 stjerner, det burde nok kun have været 4 stjerner. Selve hotellet var lidt slidt, og desværre fik vi et værelse uden vindue, men ellers var værelset fint, dog lidt problemer med toilettet som blev løst. Personalet var meget hjælpsomme og søde, morgenmaden var også ok, der var det der skulle være, så ikke noget at sætte på. Det store plus er tagterrassen, hvor man kan nyde sin morgenmad og se ud over Rom, helt fantastisk. Placering af hotellet, lå perfekt, alt kunne nås med gå ben.

The room air conditioner did not work in the room when we checked in. After complaining , we were told that there was no other room available and that it would be sorted the following day. The next day we had to fight to get another room and guess what the new room that were given also was with a broken air conditioner. The phone in the room was not working.To make matters worse, there was a heatwave with temperatures around 38 degrees Celsius and the conditions in the room were unbreathable. We complained but nothing happened We were given couple of fans on the last day. How can this property which is a 5 star hotel operate in such an unprofessional manner.

We enjoyed the hotel as it was an easy walk into the main areas to visit in Rome. The hotel would benefit from some updating however. The lift felt very wobbly. The Wi-Fi service in our room was very intermittent. We had to constantly re log into the service. The staff were very friendly and helpful- booked us tickets to Coliseum and Vatican. The rooftop bar is delightful; breakfast was great. We booked this room at half price so it was reasonable given that.

The only reason I wouldn't give this hotel a perfect rating was because the Wi-Fi signal was weak and would cut in and out constantly when I was in my room. It worked fine in the rooftop bar and lobby. Everything else about this hotel was great!

The location was convenient. Front desk staff were helpful. Breakfast was extensive and made to order hot drinks. Took off 1 star because my room had no window. Was like being in a basement. Room itself was small but fine for 2 people 2 days.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous! Our room(200) was a good size for 2 people. My sister and I moved the table in the middle of the room and made more space. The bathroom was huge and has two sinks. Staff came around everyday to stock the refrigerator. Check in & out was amazing. Staff was great. Breakfast was included with my stay on the rooftop of the hotel. They had lots of options for your liking. Only issue was the air conditioner didn’t work that well at night. The room would get really hot. I would definitely stay again when I’m in Rome.

Hotel was in a great location and staff were friendly! It was just the room that was awful. Instead of a queen mattress we got two twin beds put together, you could barely walk in the room with how tiny it was, our lights didn’t work, and the shower was the smaller thing in the world. The bed felt like laying on cardboard, it was rough and caused lots of back pain for me.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with my experience at the hotel. The attendant was extremely arrogant and, even more seriously, displayed racist behavior during the service. This hotel is not a 5 star amenity. Service was terrible. The receptionist was upset that I asked for help with the luggage. The water kettle was broken. The bathroom had broken pipes.

Great location and excellent service. The reception staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a marvellous stay. The rooftop bar with the view over the city was the cherry on top. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family.

Booked this hotel because it had a rooftop restaurant and bar. It also is classed as 5star with a good rating. Arrived early morning, whilst we didn't expect the room to be ready, I asked, if possible, would they let us know when ready. No message came through so left it until 2.30pm before returning. The room wasn't available until the 3.00pm time slot originally stated. Asked if we could go up to the Rooftop bar for a drink, only to be told that it was booked out, including for the whole evening. The room wasn't even ready at 3.00pm. Had to wait until 3.20pm. Were told the Rooftop bar will be open the next day. So after returning from a long day trip to the Hotel at 8.00pm went up to the Rooftop bar!!!! Closed and no food. only a very ordinary side room to get a drink!!! The room itself was ok but one of the two sinks had a broken tap with only cold water. Overall, the reception staff just didn't care about offering any assistance. THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL 2 - 3 STAR AT BEST. Being the last place visited on a 5-week trip this spoilt our trip. Over two nights there were zero facilities. I'd strongly recommend anyone staying in Rome to look elsewhere. WORST HOTEL

NOT a 5 star hotel. Good location, so not complaints there. Very old rooms with no extra amenities. We reserved a suite. Check in was a nightmare, waited almost 2 hours for room to be ready. Husband has limited mobility with stairs which the suite they put us in had. They were very narrow and cumbersome to ascend even for me. They were accommodating and moved us. However, they moved us to a room IMO they no longer used for guests (bedroom/Bathroom only). The Tub/ shower combination had paint splatters in it that required at least a 30 inch step up to get into the tub, with NO shower curtain. Only comped the price $45. It was a place to stay, but no where near worth the price we paid as this is a VERY DATED hotel. The restaurant was subpar, breakfast was not worth the extra we paid per day. I would not recommend.

Thank you so much for your support. To be honest I would like to ask for a fully refund because it was almost the weird hotel I have ever seen in my life . Reception people don’t respect to customers and when they miss something they staring with excuses which is unacceptable. The room was clean but smells of 2000 years go inside . Staff inter the room without any knock with I asked them to stop but who cares. Body wash was empty and after I asked them nothing came so I had to buy by myself. Toilet paper . The phone in room not working. There isn’t any information about hotel. Room service is not working ….. and so many things are to talk . I paid for a 5 star hotel but received a 2 or 3 star hotel service. I really don’t know how to deal it with my trust to Expedia service. After we decided to move out(check out) I asked reception to send someone to help Cary my baggage at 11:15 am and I wrote the the time for them but nobody came so went to reception and asked the lady what is going on and she said you asked for 11:50 . the air condition was hardly working, after several call 2 technitians came in different occations they promised to come back and fix it, but neither of them did return or fix it. We prepaid the city tax for all three rooms when we arrived and they charged us again the city tax when we left at 3;30 am before leaving to the airport, claiming we hadn't paid.

The hotel was great. We had no issues with the rooms themselves. There was construction going on in the room next door so it was a bit noisy during the day if we were there but we were out most of the time so didn’t bother much. Great rooftop with amazing views for breakfast and cocktail hours. Good location too, only 20 min walk to the colosseum and Spanish steps.

We were only LeGriffe for one night, but found it to be clean and handy to Roma termini. There is an excellent rooftop bar restaurant with a wonderful view of Rome. The pillows in the room we stayed in were lacking. If we had stayed there longer than one night, we would’ve asked for pillows that weren’t so flat. Otherwise, the hotel is nice.

Central location ideal for visiting the sights of Rome. Clean nice room, well maintained. Reception and concierge gave different advice and contradicted each other, so we didn't book with them in the end, but they were friendly. The restaurant is clean and breakfast was good, but dinner was terrible. Waited 50 minutes and had to ask where the food was, then it took another 10 minutes and arrived stone cold. When I complained that it was cold, the waiter said ok and walked off. I complained to the front of house manager, he wasn't bothered and handed me the bill. Other than the restaurant service and cold food, the hotel was good, just don't go there for dinner.

Hi, it’s not 5* at all, to be honest it’s 3*. If it were priced as such (including the bar/restaurant) then it would be great, but it’s not. Also let down but little things like the breakfast boxes when we had early starts for tours - really poor effort on those.
