Fabulous hotel, enjoyed the piano bar entertainment in the evening.

Great location for quick access to site seeing. The onsite site restaurant was excellent and accommodating. My only complaint is there was some minor mold and mildew in the shower/tub tile. A little bleach would help with that. Also, the street the hotel is on has a lot of bars, so you will hear music past midnight in the summer months, if you are in a room street side. The staff did change my room and move my bags while I was out site seeing to a room farthest away from the street. This was much better. Over, it was a very good stay there.

This hotel exudes yesteryear charm. We were so happy with our huge room and gorgeous balcony overlooking the central courtyard garden. Its location was perfect for us: close to all the historical sites and a simple walk to Rome Termini. We dined in the restaurant several nights and the food and service was always very good. Breakfast was always a highlight with a briad range of choices. I definitely recommend this hotel.

This is an older property with lots of character. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the Spanish Steps. Good local restaurants nearby. We had a 3:30am pick up to get us to the airport for our 5:55am flight so we got to bed early. Our room was situated above the bar/lounge and the music kept us up most of the night. Needless to say, not a great night sleep Breakfast is offered but started after our early departure.

Elegant old world hotel, with good restaurant (especially summer garden courtyard), and superb breakfast. Near station, next to A-line metro (Reppublica) and Opera house. 5 minute walk to Santa Maria Maggiore and several important churches.

A charming experience with lovely decor, vintage elevators, and remodeled bathroom. The breakfast was better than expected. The terrace garden is a gem. Check in was a bit crazy so be prepared for a crowd. Tip: The key card to the room also turns on the room lights.

Beautiful property close to train station and metros. Great breakfasts. Very quiet for being on such a lively street. Ambience is definitely old world. Would stay here again.

Short on front desk staff. Food was very good. Elevator doesn’t reach the ground floor. Room temp Control needs attention.

Very clean room, staff were always friendly, the interior courtyard is peaceful and quiet. There is some noise from the main road that the hotel is on but sirens and vehicle noise doesn’t bother me but something to note for others about room location. Room was spacious and the whole hotel was premium and I felt like I was in a luxury hotel. Food at the hotel was ok breakfast was fine dinner was acceptable but not the same standard as the rest of the hotel. We are out most nights would definitely stay again.

We checked in at 11:00 and were advised our room would be ready at 2:30. We paid d for a double superior; we were finally offered a room at 15:30. This was not a double superior. We were given another room, double but not a superior. Staff were very rude when I explained. Dirty paintwork and very shabby. My husband came out in hives/bites every time he showered. On our last day we realised that we had a red ant infestation. They were in the shower tray and in the towels. They were also in the bed! I advised reception who just shrugged. Awful hotel would not recommend.

Old world charm hotel. We were not disappointed with our stay. The front desk staff are helpful and welcoming. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and breakfast had loads of options. Would definitely recommend to friends & family.

A lovely hotel in a convenient location with just an 8 minute walk to the train station. It’s just about 15-20 mins on foot to Trevi fountain, the Colloseum and the Pantheon. It’s also an hour’s walk from Vatican City and I chose to walk so I could take in all the sites. The hotel was a bit dated, but comfortable and the breakfast was just lovely with lots of options. The only reason I gave the hotel an average rating was because there were ants in my room. I noticed an ant trail in the bathroom on the first morning but didn’t think too much of it, as I couldn’t find where the trail lead to. On departure day however, I found my personal food items that had been in sealed ziplock bags inside my zipped up luggage had been infested with ants. These buildings are quite old and so I just informed the front desk to give that room a thorough cleaning. But apart from that, it was a great stay and I may just stay again sans my health snacks!

We found bed bugs in our bed and also we were told there was air conditioning. There absolutely was not. They brought in a fan and that was it. We would have never stayed here if the description was truthful of this property.

Our room was very clean. When /I first arrived, I was a little disappointed, but the longer I stayed, the more the property grew on me. The building is very old but rich in history. I wish I had more time so that I could have found out more. Their restaurant was excellent! I was happy overall with the amenities it provided.

This property has real potential to be a great place, especially given its location in the heart of Rome but it is clearly in need of refurbishment and better maintenance. The rooms are not soundproof at all. I could hear guests arriving late and leaving early, and even basic noises from the neighboring room, including the toilet flushing, which made it very difficult to rest. Breakfast was also disappointing. For a hotel in central Rome, I expected a higher standard, but the food was average at best and did not reflect the quality you would anticipate at this price point. Overall, it is not worth the price, and I would not recommend staying here.

The metro runs under this hotel so depending on your rooms location how much this impacts you. We had a noisy room which shook every time a train went underneath.

The room was very hot. Never cooled off. Bed was not comfortable. The food in the restaurant was awful. breakfast cooked food was cold and had no taste. Pasta at dinner was hard. Shower drain did not work well.

The room was huge, clean and comfortable - with separate hall area to separate the bedroom from the bathroom. The decor is classic and grand, and the hotel is very well-maintained. The staff were helpful and polite. There were a good range of choices at breakfast.

Air conditioner was out of order.

Very central location, which has its benefits (can walk to main places in Central Rome) but also is very busy and noisy. Beautiful historical building. Breakfast is very average. Friendly staff.

Amazing hotel, i have never had a room and bathroom so big. Great location(although the taxi driver dropped us around the corner!) The hotel was full of character and had a beautiful garden at the rear,where we had lunch. It was a hidden gem within a busy city. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Room was nice. We upgraded to a superior room but still pretty small. Not much surface area. We hung as much as possible in the armoire. Nice high ceilings. Pretty bathroom with good amenities. The half shower door is terrible, the marble floor got deadly slippery. We had to be extra careful on a regular basis and use a bath towel to make sure we didn't fall. Inside the shower the plastic drain piece is right where you stand and would constantly move out of place leaving and open hole...very dangerous. There was a small handle inside the shower, but it should be more enclosed so water doesn't splash everywhere. Noise: We could hear the TV, talking and showering of the room next door. Very loud doors, I couldn't shut the bathroom door at night without a loud click waking my travel partner. Breakfast: Adequate with the exception of the scrambled eggs which resembled the bagged kind they heat up and serve at Hampton Inn. Yogurts, fruits and cereal were good, I don't eat meat but there were cold cuts and nice fresh ricotta and toast. Coffee was amazing. Location: Great. Steps from the Metro and near Termini Station. Neighborhood felt safe. Lots of shopping nearby. Front desk is a bit snooty, didn't make us feel welcome or warm, I guess my previous travels have spoiled me. Upon checkout there was no question of how was your stay, or how was everything...just here is your bill. I would not return. Again, nothing terribly wrong but nothing that made the stay special.

All was well but found the staff attitude at check-in to be arrogant, dismissive and cold.

Wouldn’t stay here again. Our room had an awkward layout, broken shower drain, and we had a negative interaction with day manager when the lock to safe broke with our passports inside. He told us we had to pay 150 Euro because the key broke. At the end, he waived the fee and we got our things out of safe. But he left us feeling badly about this hotel. The other staff members were kind.

The Hotel Quirinale was truly a wonderful addition to our trip. The reception desk was a bit aloof and not as welcoming as other hotels on our trip. The room EXCELLENT, The Breakfast EXCELLENT, the location and bar EXCELLENT.

For a hotel catering to international guests- majority of staff do not speak the universal language, English. Concierge were a snub, we were ignored by housekeepers, toilets do not flush- in spite of repeated reports to front desk & housekeeping; bell boys do not know what to do- he made us carry our baggages 7 of them

There was a male staff person working at the front desk who was extremely helpful. He made wonderful suggestions for reservations for us along with reservations. Unfortunately I did not get his name to mention him specifically.

The hotel is gorgeous, a throwback to glamorous yesteryear. Its location is great for walking around to most everything you'd want to see in Rome. Staff are friendly, professional, and helpful.

Front desk staff get my standing ovation. Check in made enjoyable and when needed help for medical issue, they were awesome. The place is wonderful, clean, and would definitely go there again.

Check in was 2:30, no room available, they said they were busy, not my problem. We finally got a room at 4:00 but when we went in it was not what we booked. When I went and questioned the room category they said that’s all they had available and if I wanted what I booked I would have to wait. Why didn’t they tell me that the room they gave me was a downgrade from what I ordered. I asked the question and the response was it was because I needed a room quickly. I was told my room would be ready in 30 minutes, after much pushing and attitude from the front desk we finally got the room we booked at 6:00 pm, 3-1/2 hours after getting there. Disgusting service.

Le personnel à la réception n’était pas attentif (excepté M. Fabio). Aucune formalité vis-à-vis du client (le valet qui me tutoie et m’appelle « mon frère), aucune galanterie (le portier qui qui colle ma fiancée dans le tourniquet pour sortir avec elle), un matelas complément détruit (des deux côtés). Le petit-déjeuner a été une déception. Les œufs brouillés écœurants, les donuts et boules de Berlin avec une pâte trop compacte, etc. Nous avons juste pris un petit-déjeuner dans l’hôtel (sur trois). Finalement, la seule fois où nous avons pris le petit déjeuner, nous avons laissé nos assiettes dehors avec les mets et, quand nous sommes allés chercher nos boissons, des pigeons se sont rués sur notre nourriture et l’ont mangé. Suite à quoi, un des garçons de table nous a dit que tout était bon et que l’on pouvait manger… Pour finir, nous n’avons pas eu l’upgrade de notre chambre, malgré avoir relancé la réception chaque matin.

Schönes grosses Zimmer mit gr. Bad. Täglich wechsel der Handtücher. FS gut, etwas zu starke Klimaanlage beim GS. Sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung, Bus bor der Tür, Metro 2 min. entfernt. Diverse Einkaufsmög- lichkeiten im der Straße. 1 Station vom Termini zu Fuß oder mit dem Bus . Mit dem Leonardo-Express von dort in 30 min. für 14€ am Flughafen. Ideales Hotel um Rom zu erkunden.

Can’t fault this hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. It’s a great location. I have trouble walking distances so it was important to have good public transport connections. The Quirinale was the right choice for my visit to Rome.

Room 341 was a good size overlooking the garden. Overall ambience was pleasing. Staff seemed quite aloof but lady on breakfast desk was very welcoming. The housekeeping staff in the mornings would also greet us. There was varied choice for breakfast but the hot choices were a bit lukewarm and disappointing. I enjoyed the fresh fruit and yoghurt. The breads looked nice but seemed a bit bland. Location convenient just a few steps from Metro and walkable to Trevi Fountain, The Spanish Steps & Colosseum and very close to an excellent gelateria.

The breakfast was amazing

Friendly staff and lovely place though past its prime. Doesn’t matter though because it was fun for us to stay at a hotel where Giuseppe Verdi and later Maria Callas stayed! The best thing is the breakfast in the beautiful garden! The worst thing is the coffee. The coffee machines should be replaced!!!
