Great location. great restaurant and nice shops and restaurants nearby. Only negative was the trash pickup every morning - for hotel next door. If you can ask for a room where the window doesn’t face the street this might be an option if you are noise sensitive. Breakfast was nice too.

The front desk is always pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. Got to check in early because room was ready. :). The concierge was outstanding, special request were honored and his knowledge of Roma was vast; from things to do and see, and great restaurants. (He is the Stanley Tucci look a like!) Room was vey large, sleeps four very comfortably and has a very large partially enclosed balcony overlooking Via Emilia. Nice breakfast to start the day. Area was much cleaner since they opened the W Hotel next door. Easy walk to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Parthenon and other attractions. Restaurants in neighborhood are plentiful and good. Have a drink with a beautiful view at Hotel Eden just around the corner. I recommend taking there car service back to the airport, Isabella gave us a quick tour of central Rome and it’s surroundings on the way. We will be back!

Located within walking distance of the Spanish Steps, the American Embassy and our fav bar/restaurant - Harry's. Situated on a quiet street. Front desk was helpful in every way. Can arrange transportation to port - 200 euros - just ask. Nice in every way.

Nice little hotel about 15 minute walk to trevi fountain. It was clean and rooms are quite spacious. Could do with a wider breakfast choice but still OK. Keys are old school so you have to hand them in everytime you leave the hotel. One thing I did wonder is how they check when you collect the key to go back to the room as all you have to say is your room number and they give you your key. Also i would recommend providing water and perhaps a kettle. You have to pay for water. Staff were friendly.

This is a quaint hotel with large rooms and very spacious. But, if you have a problem with steps there are a lot of steps to get into the hotel and more steps to the dining area. There is no handicap entrance to the hotel. This hotel is not very close to the main sights in Rome. It costs 155 Euros from the airport to this hotel. It is on a very small street. Taxi service is excellent and is arranged by the person on duty at the desk. They have a 24hour desk service. No Ice machines on the floors, but if you call the desk, (dial 9, didn't know that originally) they will eventually deliver you ice. It is quicker to just go down and ask at the desk. The restaurant next door is good and convenient, but is pricey. FYI there is an ATM (Bankomat) located just up the street and very inexpensive getting euros. Other ATM's charge a hefty price.

We've been upgraded to a better room, which is great! Staff are really nice (in reception and the breakfast room). The only thing that we didn't like was that they don't have coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

I love our stay at La Residenza hotel. Its walkable but not close enough to Barberini station, the road is very steep so if you are tired walking the entire day, this must be something to take a look into. The breakfast is very good with lots of choices.

We travel to Italy frequently for business. Hotel La Residenza provides the comfort and quiet we seek on our trips plus reliable WIFI, A/C and a generous breakfast with many options. There is also an on-site restaurant where hotel guests can enjoy a discount. Our king-size bed was very comfortable (rare these days), and the bathroom and show are large. Bonus: the amenities offered included body cream which is rare these days. My only criticism is that this hotel should offer a complimentary bottle of welcome water per person and not charge. It is a welcome detail especially since Rome sizzles in the summer! I would stay here again. The hotel is close to the Borghese Gardens and other attractions but not in a crowded area. Nice!

Excellent stay and staff. Amazing breakfast and their restaurant was a great dining option. It is very hard for cars to drop off and pick up in the street where it's located. Other than that, i would highly recommend.

I would not stay at this property again. First, you have to leave your hotel key at the front desk every time you leave the hotel, and request it upon arrival, which was an imposition and did not feel safe. In terms of rest, getting sleep was difficult since the room provided to us was on top of a service entrance, it was noisy up to late at night and very early in the morning, with deliveries and waste management. In terms of cleanness, the top part of the walls in our bathroom were covered with mold and required cleaning and maintenance.

Had an amazing stay, the cleanliness and and attention to detail from the staff made us feel like at home. We had such a great time that we rebooked for the last part of our trip. Hotel has an excellent location everything within walking distance.

The place is conveniently located, about a 15-minute walk from the Barberini subway station and the bus stop. It was extremely clean, well-maintained, and had very helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent—definitely 5 stars—with multiple healthy options, all delicious and a great start to our day. We also appreciated the nearby water fountain, which made it easy to refill our bottles. Overall, we had a wonderful experience—thank you!

Positive : Due to our flight delay, we arrived at the hotel at 1 am. The hotel was dependable and helpful in communicating with the shuttle service to accommodate our late arrival. It was so great that this hotel had airport pick up shuttle service. Staff are professional and reliable except for our first night ( see below comments). The breakfast buffet staff Doroty was sweet, attentive and welcoming everyday. The breakfast was excellent with great services. Negative: on our first night, our bathroom had hair all over the counter and even on the towels so we couldn\'t take shower because we didn\'t want to use the towels. When I called the front desk and mentioned about the hair and how we couldn\'t use the towels, his response was" Really? The cleaning staff usually does good job cleaning" When we asked if we can get the fresh set of towels, his response was " not today, tomorrow "

Everything and everyone exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend staying at Hotel La Residenza. Tge room was large and comfortable to accommodate a party of three. An easy walk to restaurants and to pick up hop on/off buses. Architecture and design of hotel was very historic and pleasing to the eye. Breakfast was great with many options available. Our stay in Rome was enhanced by our stay at Hotel La Residenza. Grazie.

Rooms did seem a bit outdated, looked different from the photos. Bathroom was exactly like the photos, recently updated and very nice. Did notice that the hotel is still using physical keys for rooms and have to be left at the front desk while going out.

Liked the location. The room and its bathroom were large. Breakfast was really good as was the room it was served from. TV had no english channels. No cnn. No clock or radio. Bathtub wasnt working but shower was good. Toiletries were nice. Slightly funky smell when entering room.

This is a very comfortable hotel. The spacious -- for Rome -- rooms were cooled silently with excellent mini-split units. Everything was impeccably clean and the bed linens were high quality. The shower was a good size and had ample water pressure. The staff was efficient and helpful. The breakfast is good although the breakfast room is a bit too warm during this summer's record heat. Overall, I would stay here again with no hesitation whatsoever.

Our family loved this hotel. The location was walking distance from the Spanish steps and not far from the Trevi fountain. The breakfast was very nice and the restaurant was great. Wonderful staff! The rooms were big and comfortable especially the big king size bed. Big plus the shower was amazing with great water pressure.

Everything was perfect. Couldn’t possibly complain about anything. We were also able to check in and have access to our room before allocated time which was much appreciated. Help with our cases was given without us having to ask.

Great location. great restaurant and nice shops and restaurants nearby. Only negative was the trash pickup every morning - for hotel next door. If you can ask for a room where the window doesn’t face the street this might be an option if you are noise sensitive. Breakfast was nice too.

This is a quaint hotel with large rooms and very spacious. But, if you have a problem with steps there are a lot of steps to get into the hotel and more steps to the dining area. There is no handicap entrance to the hotel. This hotel is not very close to the main sights in Rome. It costs 155 Euros from the airport to this hotel. It is on a very small street. Taxi service is excellent and is arranged by the person on duty at the desk. They have a 24hour desk service. No Ice machines on the floors, but if you call the desk, (dial 9, didn't know that originally) they will eventually deliver you ice. It is quicker to just go down and ask at the desk. The restaurant next door is good and convenient, but is pricey. FYI there is an ATM (Bankomat) located just up the street and very inexpensive getting euros. Other ATM's charge a hefty price.

I love our stay at La Residenza hotel. Its walkable but not close enough to Barberini station, the road is very steep so if you are tired walking the entire day, this must be something to take a look into. The breakfast is very good with lots of choices.

Great property. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room was lovely, massive comfy bed, great aircon and a lovely big bathroom. Location close to Termini and metro, and ten minute walk to some great restaurants, and ten minutes from Spanish steps. Mini market round the corner.

Bathroom very spacious (shower very large, with complimentary travel items - shampoo, shower gel, etc.) Staff (on reception/breakfast) very friendly, helpful. Great experience, very helpful staff and an amazing location. Accomodated my gluten free diet extraordinarily well. Outstanding staff. The restaurant attached to the hotel(not exactly sure if it is owned by the hotel) even gives a small-discount if you are a hotel guest. The food rivals any restaurant in Rome. No English channels on the TV which I personally loved.

We stayed at this lovely little hotel for 4 nights. The staff were hospitable and informative. Breakfast limited but a good selection of pastries and fresh fruit. Unlimited tea coffee and juices. The cleanliness of the hotel was fabulous, location great too. This hotel is in a quiet road within walkable distance to the steps and fountain. The hotel itself is like stepping back in time. My only criticism would be that it would have been useful to have tea/coffee amenities in the room. Bathrobe and slippers would have also made this stay even more delightful. I would certainly use this hotel again.

I can not recommend this hotel enough! The staff is so helpful, kind and polite. The rooms so so clean and spacious, and the air conditioning was the strongest we felt during our whole stay in Italy! The daily breakfast spread is beautiful and fresh with a lovely assortment of cheese, meats, danishes, fruit, etc and even fresh made specialty coffee upon request! We loved this stay for our honeymoon and will recommend for anyone going to Rome to stay here for a relaxing vacation!

Had a great stay at La Residenza for three nights. Easy walking distance to the city, and also not too far from the train station. Helpful staff, fantastic bed!!! Breakfast was ok. Rooms really clean and well updated, bathroom really nice
