There is no hot tub available.

Front office staff was friendly, room was very nice. Breakfast, while limited, had some good options. Only negatives were the back door to the hotel never closed and locked, and some construction guys would always come in and take a lot of the breakfast foods

Staff was very friendly, and the beds were comfortable. There is no elevator so if you can't use the stairs, ask for a bottom floor room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful at checkin and throughout our three day stay. We saw the cleaning crew constantly working to keep the hotel in perfect condition, inside and out. We did laundry and the machines work well.

Plenty of parking and room for truck/trailers

Hotel was fine for a one night quick stay before an early flight. However please note there is no elevator if you are on the second floor. Rooms were quiet, clean and AC worked well. The room decor is very outdated and the cleaning smell was strong enough I had to open window for a couple hours. Also there was no transportation available to the airport. We had to rent a car.

This peoperty does NOT have an elevator. That makes 2nd floor rooms difficult for people with physical disabilities or strength issues to navigate to their room. I couldn't find any info about lack of elevators when booking. This was not an outside entry motel. All rooms were accessed by indoor corridors.

Was disappointed that guest laundry was out of order, otherwise the motel was fine.

Very rude front desk personnel, piss spot on the floor of our room that I stepped in..was told I was crazy by front desk horrible old hotel they a attempt and failed to make new..hot tub is a person home hot tub that was discussing and dirty!! Horrible horrible place!

Clean and fairly upgraded property. Great beds and nice bathroom. No pool - but they do have a great outdoor hot tub.

We checked into the hotel late after a long day of hiking at the near by National Park, so we dropped our luggage and headed out to eat some dinner. Once we returned, we prepared ourselves to sleep and upon pulling back the blankets on the bed, we saw that while the bed was fully made, the sheets and pillow cases were still dirty. it even looked like there was hair on one of the pillow cases. there was only one person on staff who was able to provide new linens but we changed them ourselves. as if that wasn't bad enough, we should have checked the towels in the bathroom. once my shower was complete, I went to use a "fresh" towel only to find out that was dirty too. This hotel is absolutely horrible. The entire building leans to the east so you constantly felt that you were on an angle. I would never stay here or anywhere like it again. frankly, I think you should never list it on your site. I have attached a compilation of pictures.

Our room was clean, but had a very strong pine sol odor. Cleaning with products that leave less of an odor is my only recommendation. Otherwise, our stay was good.

Found a bug in the bed. That wasn’t the worst part… I arrived mid-afternoon, checked in, left my bags in the room and left to do some sightseeing. When I came back that evening and turned down the bed, I found a small bug. I grabbed a tissue, picked up the bug and threw it away. At that point I decided this place was not for me. There were other sketchy things about the place (dimly lit hallways, door didn’t close properly) but the bug in the bed was a dealbreaker. Not at all what I expected from the reviews or for the price they charged. Then came what to me was the worst part. I go to the front desk to get this resolved, quietly. I let another guest go ahead of me, check in and leave the lobby first to avoid a scene. I then told the man about the bug and that I wouldn’t be staying there. His response was essentially to accuse me of lying. Did I have a picture? Was the bug still there? Unless he could investigate and confirm for himself there was nothing he could do, he said. I’d had enough and wasn’t digging through trash for proof. I’d love to know what scam he thought I was trying to pull. I had been in the room a grand total of 20 minutes between dropping off my bags and returning later. What exactly was I getting from this, besides the hassle of having to find another place to stay after a long day on the road? What I expected was an apology and a refund, not whatever that was. I generally don’t leave reviews but this kind of anti-hospitality deserves one.

There was a very strong odor in the room - pretty overwhelming. It smelled like some sort of cleaning supplies. The hotel is very worn and could use a remodel.

I’m writing to share our disappointment regarding a recent stay at your property. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory due to the condition of the room. Upon arrival, we found the blankets and sheets covered in pet fur, which was both unhygienic and unacceptable. To make matters worse, there were no staff available to assist, and we had to change the bedding ourselves. Despite this inconvenience, we were not offered a refund or even a credit for the trouble. We believe this situation warrants a follow-up and would appreciate being contacted directly to discuss a resolution. We hope you take this feedback seriously and address the cleanliness and staffing issues to prevent future guests from facing similar problems. There were bugs crawling around in my room all over the place and a bunch of dead bugs. It's not very pleasing.

The room was clean overall. When we pulled the blanket and top sheet back there was dirt/sand on the bottom. Very disappointing especially since it was late and we were tired.

The floors are un even in room and hallway. The cracks in the walls are very noticeable. When you take a shower using the shower curtain you flood the bathroom floor. Would not recommend this particular property to anyone. It is old and needs updating. The bathroom was not as clean as could be. Thank you

I got to be honest, was a little disappointed. This place really needs a lot of updating. The beds are pretty stiff and not very comfortable. I have no idea why they're using those little cube pillows, those were also very uncomfortable. Did not get a good night's rest. The handles for the faucet in the shower seemed like they're ready to fall off. After tax paid around a hundred bucks for a night. Last year my wife and I stayed at the mine cart motor lodge for 50 bucks and was way nicer. Newer beds, newer TVs, ect. Until Super 8 does some serious updating I will not be returning.

Internet was very spotty and sometimes didn’t work at all. Breakfast consisted of coffee, waffles and 2 kinds of cereal. Our room was across from the ice machine so it was pretty noisy until midnight and starting around 4 am. Beds were kind of hard. Overall it was clean which is what we wanted.

We stayed on the second floor. It is very uneven and slants towards the back of the hotel. There isn't an elevator so you have to carry everything upstairs. My husband being a general contractor of course noticed the cracks and gaps between the wall and ceiling. You needed to get a running start to make it from one end of the room to the other. The food choices were not that great. It was your average breakfast at any motel. The muffin, donuts and bread were hard and had a funny taste. We only had the coffee which was okay. The next 2 days we ate at other places in town. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Clean but dated motel property; uneven subfloor/concrete.

Property appears to have some structural issues. Cracks in the walls and bathroom. You can make out the outline of the floor joist above and the floor squeaks when the tenant above walks across the floor.

They use throw pillows instead of real ones which are half the size , so bring your own pillow or stay somewhere else.

The floor was so slanted in our room we had to turn the beading around on our beds and sleep the opposite way. Would never stay at a super 8 again.

We experienced a very traumatic experience. I would like a full refund. My husband left the room to get breakfast. I was still in bed. A strange man entered my room WITH A KEY. He was as shocked as I was. He had gone to the office because his shower wasn\'t working. The office gave him a key to OUR room. When we went to the front desk, the attendant said, "Oh, my bad.". I am contacted the hotel today as we just arrived home. This happened on April 16, 2024. Needless to say we will never stay at this hotel again, nor will we recommend it to anyone. This was careless and should NEVER happen. I understand that accidents do happen but their response to the situation was unbelieveable.

Super 8 was a solid hotel. Would not run back. Woman receptionist needs training in interfacing with people. Not helpful. Literally throwing milk jug at is for breakfast when creamer for coffee ran out. Really bad attitude that left me wanting to not return. The maid service was exceptional.

This hotel would not honor my reservation. I had to go to some other place in town. Not easy to find another place to stay at the last minute and a long drive. Will not use Expedia again because of the poor service when I arrived.

The staff is very unhelpful, and there is no drinking water, even in the vending machine. The ice filter hasn’t been changed since 2012! I was charged twice for one night stay with a check out at 9am, and when I called the hotel after the transactions posted to my account, they said they see only one transaction on their end. There is some sort of fraud going on there and I reached out to my bank to investigate and dispute the duplicate transaction. Very unpleasant experience and definitely won’t stay there again nor I will recommend the hotel to someone else.

The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. It was super quiet at Super 8. Slept great!

I stoped in this super 8 on my road trip in Colorado. I usually book a guest home but as I had to stop 1 night only and found this very good deal of $90, I gave it a try and I have NO regrets. This place is clean, quite, close to Downtown and 5 minutes drive to Museum of the Mountain West (which I recommend). Well, long story short: I will stop here again if I pass by.

Room was clean and I liked the pre-check on option from Super 8. We had an issue with our room due to a sudden strong smell, but the front desk manager promptly changed us to a different room which was great. Its located about 15 minutes to Black Canyon National Park which was really convenient.

Stayed one night for work. Room was a little small, but was clean. The hotel was on main road thru town close to job site. Staff was friendly and helpful on places for dinner. Menus were a little outdated, so there was a price difference, but the food was excellent at the steakhouse down the way.

The hotel is reasonably priced and located in a nice, quiet, and clean area. It’s in good condition, and the breakfast is decent.

This is the perfect stay while visiting family in Montrose. Breakfast options were good. Daily maid service was a plus. Ample parking was convenient. Hotel is in a good location.

Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was adequate - they even had a waffle maker. The only thing I would change about the room is perhaps eliminate the carpeting.

Room was clean but property was pretty old school. The room (king) was small and cramped. One reviewer from October said juice machine was broken…still broken. Breakfast should have been described as continental. The price was probably pretty good for the area but we’d pay more next time for nicer accommodations elsewhere.
