My original review regarding the check-in process was very good and true at that time. Lisa at the front desk was wonderful and the staff changes for housekeeping and the breakfast area we're welcomed. That was day one. Daily housekeeping is not automatic it has to be requested, that's okay. However, it was an either-or occurance. One day they would make the bed, not replace towels; the next, visa versa. That was annoying. They never cleaned the pool, not once We stayed 5 days oceanfront so we could see the sediment build up on the bottom of the pool. Debris floating on top was visible 24/7. The safety lock on our room door let loose at times when the door closed. It locked my husband out upon arrival, luckily I was in the room. He told the front desk, but no one came the next morning as promised, so my husband got tape (when asking again in person) to temporarily secure it from locking us out. No one ever did show up. My husband books "breakfast included" hotels with waffles or pancakes. The pancake maker was broken. The sweet women working tried to make excuses why it's not repaired yet, but it's difficult when you see the same guests daily. We've stayed before and gave it another chance. We like the location, Lisa & the breakfast ladies. It had a hands-on small business vibe that's gone. I've emailed management before, without reply. We won't be back. Management doesn't care so nothing will change. Rowdy guest numbers will continue to grow to be the new clientele.
