Had a pleasant stay at Daytona Beach Super 8 Wyndham on a 3-day weekend. The room was clean. The bathroom with a bathtub had plenty of towels. It had 2 comfortable queen beds with very clean sheets. The Non-Smoking room had no bad smell at all. The A/C was great. There's a microwave and fridge in the room. The TV was a medium size flat panel with a generous selection of cable channels. The room and the whole property appears recently renovated. Parking is free with many spaces in a large parking lot. Security is good, too. Overall, it was a good experience.

Needed a night away for some adult time, was perfect. The only thing we didn't like was that the pool didn't open until 9am.. it's Daytona Beach Florida in the SUMMER, open the pool early...

Nice facility, but the breakfast area was being used as a storage area and there was no coffee available in the morning. No continental breakfast, no coffee, and it was odd to me that you have to use your room key to access the hotel itself all the time. Still, not a bad stay at all and very competitively priced for this area.

There is no Wyndham in this hotel. The area around is older, run down. Plastic on the mattress, very old hotel. Food area was closed and so was the pool. Greeted in the early evening and morning by a glass window.

Front lobby doors stayed lock 95% of my 2 night saty. I am family of 4, there were only 2 towels and to get more I had to take those 2 towels to front office inorder to get 2 more. The matresses had plastic on them, so with every move you heard plaztic crinckling. Pool was very, very small, and not maintained well. There was a whole family in the pool looked to be swimming in there work clothes. The only plus to this hotel was that it was quiet.

Accessible room was a good size but shower was lukewarm and not really accessible. Pool needs updating as there are holes through to the concrete underneath which was very uncomfortable on the feet. Note that this hotel requires a deposit to be paid.

Exterior looks good, except… Lobby closed off (partition off to the guest) no access. Greeted by staff through plexiglass partition. Balcony and furniture rotted out! Unsafe! Entire building Reeked cigarette smoke. The area surrounding the building unsafe, drugs, homeless and other issues.

Our room and the pool where completely fine. Only thing is they were remodeling the dinning area so we were not served breakfast as it states online. We would of chosen a different motel if we knew in advanced we were not getting breakfast, as that is our sons favorite part of traveling.

Needs refreshing. Bad moldu odor is a turnoff. Continental breakfast was stopped. Other hotels still offer some breakfast. Service and amenities removed and a huge price hike from past stays. Consider elsewhere.

Smelled terrible as soon as I walked in. The smelled lingered throughout my whole stay. Saw no staff at all around the property and checking in I wasn’t told about anything that was offered at the hotel for example when breakfast is served or where to go to have it. My door had no safe lock on it and overall just disappointed.

The door in my room has a gap between the door and the frame. I was a bit worried about that. But overall it was good. I was able to text and had a rapid response. Place was clean. Maybe if they fixed that it wouldn’t be a problem.

The hotel was very well upkept. Rooms were nice. The tv did not work when we got there. Front desk said it was being worked on. The remote was sticky, and didnt work but to turn on the tv that didnt work. When we got up that next morning the tv was working but still couldnt do anything bc of the remote. Otherwise it was nice and clean.

Dirty , bedding was from the antique store. Pool was atrocious. I reserved 2 nights couldn't force myself to stay the second night. Worth it to eat the cost as the staff was no help at all. Oh and someone should tell you theres a train runs through the property every couple hours.

The owner I think was extremely rude and even took my ID and debit card and walked away with it for 20 minutes in the laundry room, check In was at 3 and my room wasn’t ready until 330 he also was very passive aggressive because my SO wasn’t there to sign the receipt only myself and called me 5 times in 10 minutes yelling

I ordered the room on the reserve now pay later and around 3:30 before I arrived, the manager or owner, tried to run the card on file, which I didn’t want them doing. I wanted to pay cash when I got there. I haven’t had this happen for a motel in a long time. So because the card then got declined, they canceled my room. Luckily, they had other rooms. Maybe they’ve had people flake on them but I didn’t like the fact they just ran the card before I got there. It also ended up being 13 more dollars than the Expedia price, which I showed the front desk person, but they could care less at that point and I was tired and just checked in. It wasn’t a terrible experience but not the best. The room was OK, definitely some things falling apart in there.

Hotel was clean but service very poor. Had to ring a bell and wait at a window every time you wanted something. Lobby was closed. It took 15 minutes to check out. I had to pay a $50 deposit. Stupid since I paid with credit card. False advertising as website claimed free breakfast but none onsite. Reflects badly on all Super 8 properties. I am glad there are so many other choices for my next trip to the area.

I made a reservation and at check in was told the rate on the room was over $400 a day!! This place was in no way a $400 a day room. It was in a unsafe neighborhood, it was unclean and smelled. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging that much. The bad part is they still charged me even though I never stayed there, what a rip off

Several people were living here and sketchy. Never able to be at counter with worker, always the night window even in morning. Didn’t like worker being gone with my cc from my sight and kept saying he was having issues…he could’ve been running mult things…loud all night.

A lot of trouble with the door pass, stupid entrance from front desk, back out the door and into the corridor. Worst of all there w as NO breakfast available. The web site showed a breakfast area, but it was closed. I will never return, or recommend this facility. The check in lady was very helpful, but she was not there in the morning.

Pictures do not say a 1000 words. When I arrived at the hotel, I could not physically go into the front lobby because it's locked up at all times and you had to ring the doorbell for the person, like it was the night watchman. It was only 8 PM. I was really disappointed the following day when I Went down to have the continental breakfast that was advertised, to see a sign on the door that read breakfast will not be served until further notice. That sucks, especially that was one of the re,asons why I chose that hotel. Another thing that really disturbed me was the smell of cigarettes on the 2nd floor. I do believe this place was advertised as a no smoking building and I saw a sign somewhere that said that it was a no smoking building. When I said something to management the following day he told me it was allowed on that side of the hotel 2nd floor. If I would have known that I would have had him change my room because the 2nd floor really stinks.

Staff would take towels during the day and wow no replaced until the washed them. A person had them numbered by room when they returned them later in the day. A bit odd

Nice hotel but a 10pm curfew is unheard of .. if someone visits after 10pm you loose your deposit.. no breakfast either
