La Quinta by Wyndham Oceanfront Daytona Beach

The hotel is what you pay for it was ok for adults but this doesn’t feel like a family friendly. There was animals everywhere which is fine because it was pet friendly and I knew that. there was poop on the grass in play area where they weren’t supposed to be at. The rooms where ok but the floors where slimy feeling and a lot of moisture in the room. It’s a non smoking hotel but yet every time I turned around I was grabbing cigarette buts off the ground near my twin toddlers so they didn’t pick them up and people where smoking every where not just cigarettes but weed as well if your going to smoke do it where family’s with children aren’t. Common sense people. As for the hotel it is what you pay for it was 180 a night on the outskirts of down town daytona beach.

Excellent view, the rooms were average with less than average bathroom. Good location next to dog beach

easy access to the beach, a really good breakfast, clean rooms and awesome deck view of ocean

Room was dirty and bedding

I canceled my reservation at a different hotel that we had before to get a bigger room. I noticed that the total price through hotel.com was a certain price & they charge me a different one didn't realize till I looked at my credit card statement. when we got to the hotel we had to spend over an hour for them to try to bust into the room because the door was locked from the inside. They finally moved us to another room and it was so dirty The smoke detector was off of the wall, the bathroom door knob spun around on bathroom. the closet in the actual room was moldy smelling, and the linen that was in there for the pullout bed had spots on it and was moisture due to the mold. then we spent almost 2 hours of our Jeep Beach vacation waiting for them to fix the toilet because something happened with the pump. When I asked about the Coke machine, I got the same answer every single day, it's empty, it's empty,no chance of even filling it up when we ask them for help on anything they just shrugged and threw their hands up in the air. The breakfast is your typical crappy breakfast so I wasn't really complaining about that. I guess they tried to do some remodeling in the bathroom after the hurricane & we were laughing at how bad the toilet was crooked and the floor actually missing tiles. We didn't expect to have quality like a 5 star hotel but for what we paid a night should've been much more quality. Stay away from anything that says Wyndham. it's the same thing here in TN.
