This was our second time at this hotel. We had a lagoon view room this time rather than ocean front. The lagoon did look amazing but if I went again I wouldn’t compromise and would book the ocean view. The resort was very busy and it was hard for us to get a lounger by the pool, that said the pool area is lovely, and adjoining a couple of tiki bars. The only problem was the yucky stench of the seaweed which smelt like rotten eggs that the breeze wafted into the pool area every so often. We decided to eat out and the free shuttle bus to anywhere within 2 miles is a great asset. My daughter and husband enjoyed fishing on the pier the cost of which was included in the resort fee. Still a beautiful resort, and I’m sure we will return again some day

Beautiful property with an abundance of amenities. We took pleasure in the Jack Nicklaus-designed par 3 golfing, fishing pier and swimming pools, but we could have also played tennis or borrowed bikes, not to mention all the water toys such as kayaks and SUP boards. There’s also a spa. Only complaint would be the luke warm water temperature in the shower in our room.

I liked the many choices of activities on property grounds. ie: tennis, golf. Paddleboard fishung pier to name a few. Separate adult pool which i enjoyed because it was not crowded and quite. Different restaurants on sight and some within waling distance offsight. Lush landscaping with lots of shade . Which made it comfortsble to walk or bike in the heat of summer. Very good hotel room.

This is a great location in the Keys. The accommodations are nice and there is a lot to do here. Take a boat out to the sandbar, play pickle ball or fish. The park 3 needs attention. They have bikes you can use too. The three restaurants are excellent. Pools are nice and you can find chairs.

Property well kept, Atlantic Edge Restaurant was very nice; food good. Service was good . The heated pool was only 77 degrees and was chilly; few people were in the water, mostly younger children. The towels at pool were thin and thread bare.

Delightful stay. Lovely pool areas. Lot of activities included in Hotel Fee including par 3 golf, kayaking, fishing off the pier. Food service was excellent, with the freshest fruit we've every had !!

Restaurant options are great, they offer Italian, sushi, beachside dining and an American restaurant. There are also poolside versions of their regular American restaurant. The amenities are phenomenal, including pier fishing, bikes, games and various water sport activities. There are plenty of other things to do outside of the resort, bikes are available to get around locally. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The rooms on the ocean were recently remodeled. The property is beautiful and easy to navigate. Oceanside live music at night was really nice, lots of families congregated on the beach to enjoy the ocean breeze and entertainment.

Though I had a conversation with the hotel manager the day after my stay, I can honestly say all I got was lip service. Driving home from the Keys, I noticed that I had a rash on the inside of my right arm and on my right-side of my chest. The manager and I discussed "Bed-Bugs", as I felt that the pillow (I sleep with my arm under the pillow). The rash eventually got so itchy I got cortisone cream, which eased the itch. Its now 8 days from my checkout and the rash is now easing up, but per the convo, all I got is "We take great measures to insure we don't have bed bugs". I've stayed at Chica over the years dozens of times, I guess that's gonna have to change.

Beautiful property all around! Plenty of activities on property. Great food at the on property Atlantic's Edge Restaurant. Beautiful 'beach' but it's not especially sandy at all. Poor daily room refresh, may or may not complete the process. Leaky above counter sink, bugs in room (both dead and alive), glasses left on walkway outside our 3 floor room (a few got broken and broken glass left all over), vacuum cleaner left in elevator daily. Pizza box left for days on outside trash can by the stairwell.

Hotel is nice & staff was friendly. I found a roach in my bathroom. I also ate at one of the restaurants. Granted I went there late, the food was so cold. My child spilled the soup, as soon as it came. I didn't ask for them to remove it from the bill, but they saw it spill, they cleaned it up. The nice thing to do would have been for them to remove it, they didn't. Was it overall nice, sure. Would I go back, not really.

I booked last minute and what a fabulous surprise! The staff was amazing from check in with Anna, to Jordan at one of the outdoor Tiki bars and to G at the delish Sushi restaurant on site. The room was phenomenal and I loved the screened in patio. Great job! I will return.

First class Rrsort from beginning to end. Had the ocean front queen suite where the view was remarkable! Truly one of the prettiest views we have had at a hotel. Pools , restaurants, staff and accommodations were all 5 star!

We only stayed for one night which wasn’t enough time to check anything out at the resort. Our room was over by the golf course, unfortunately did not get any sleep. There is a very loud air conditioning unit (large) that must be on the roof and turns on and off all night. Every time we would fall asleep that thing kicked on. Had a wonderful tasty dinner but were also tricked into ordering a bunch of appetizers that we believed were being comped because of the wait time (Super Bowl Sunday). The property was beautiful and the beach was stunning.

Ocean front king room with the balcony was amazing! We used the tub on the veranda every night. Staff was so helpful and nice. Can't veat the convenience of booking boat trips right off the dock as well! 10/10 overall. We will definitely be back.

Lots to like- especially the friendly staff. Grounds kept clean but par 3 golf course in pretty rough shape. Boats are definitely well used. Restaurant is nice but expensive as are the $20 drinks. We stayed 11 days and must have had 10 different next door neighbors who were quite loud for the most part and could be heard clearly through the lock-out door. Had to call security once. Cable tv signal worked less than half the time. Dishwasher fell over (not attached). Nice pools and tennis courts. Overall 3.5 star experience.

I felt the room was very old and in need of a remodel, specifically the carpet. The room felt humid, even though the AC was running. The facilities were overall in good condition. The beach area was not impressive, smelling and murky water, however, the water activities/amenities made up for it. The fishing and paddle boarding were our favorite.

Property is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is the rooms are advertised as “soundproof” and I could hear the room next door shower, toilet flushing , the moving of chairs/ furniture around, the golf carts beeping and driving through at early morning hours, which woke me up every night/ morning of my stay. By my final day i was so frustrated as i was trying to enjoy a good nights sleep before a three hour drive home and was woken up throughout the night the above

The resort is honestly cute, and the beach is incredibly peaceful, making it perfect for a stress-free weekend. However, when I arrived, the check-in process turned into a bit of a hassle. Even though I had paid for the room through Expedia, they couldn't find the receipt and ended up charging me twice. I had to show them my bank statement and be persistent to get it sorted out. On the day of check-out, an early morning knock at the door at 9 am to ensure departure readiness was rather intrusive and inconsiderate. And as for the food, well, it was nothing to write home about. It was just average, leaning towards poor quality, and it wasn't easy on the wallet either.

The check in and check out staff were horrible. Not friendly, never told me anything about the property, and didn't give me a voucher for the drink I was supposed to have. I had never been there so knew nothing about where the dining places were, where the pool or towels were etc. The check out girl barely spoke to me and gave me the reciept. Didnt even ask how my stay was.

Honestly, we started with a pretty bad experience with some issues pertaining to our room. However, we mentioned it to Natalia at the concierge and she was SUPER accommodating! Needless to say that the issues were resolved immediately. Definitely recommend Cheeca Lodge & Spa to anyone looking for a relaxing get-away.

Terrible decision to choose this hotel they don’t reserve tables in the restaurant for people that are in the hotel the restaurant was empty and because we didn’t not make the reservation we ended with no place where to eat room service was not available they said the line was broken I called from desk and they never called me back never coming back again to this place and won’t recommend it to anyone don’t waste your money and time there are better hotels around and with more friendly staff.

Anna and the front desk staff were absolutely amazing! During my daughter and son in law (newlyweds ) stay they were treated like royalty! Service at the outside tiki bar was impeccable, second to none! Incredible stay for my daughter‘s one day honeymoon!! We will never forget our experience at Cheeca Lodge!! Absolutely lovely!!

While the room (in the building) was lovely, the property does not live up to its price point. check in was disorganized and slow, my room key bracelet didnt work, elevator buttons don't light up. No one on the beach offering drink service, not enough chairs around the pool, servers who scrape plates tableside in a fine dining restaurant. Mostly small things, but again, felt like a moderate chain hotel, not a boutique high class establishment. Won't be going back.

Reception was excellent! Dadrian specifically provided the best customer service and went out of her way to welcome my daughter and me. Wonderful and warm; excellent first impression that carried throughout our stay. Cheeca Lodge did not disappoint!

Peaceful, beautiful and well-serviced rooms, pools, and resort in the Keys. Location in Islamorada is nicer than Key Largo and closer to airports than other Keys. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Checca is one of our favorite places to stay. The rooms are great and we love the pool area. Service is top notch. My only knock is the food. The tiki bar food is good, the rest of the restaurants are over priced and not very good at all. We eat lunch around the pools and then go off property for dinner. There are plenty of great restaurants around.

We loved the beach and all of the facilities! It was so easy to park under our room with the golf course view. The property is gorgeous and well maintained. Also, Spa Island was so pretty and relaxing as well as the waterfall grotto pool and jacuzzi near our room. Loved the adult pool too! Daydrian was so pleasant and helpful at check in. Jordan at the inside bar was master of tasty cocktails and super friendly! We used the shuttle for nearby restaurants which was timely and convenient. We also walked to some nearby shopping and favorite lunch spots!

Checca is one of our favorite places to stay. The rooms are great and we love the pool area. Service is top notch. My only knock is the food. This trip is just what we needed. We were looking for a place that had everything—fine dining with atmosphere,the beach and pools and enough activities to keep you busy if you wanted to be busy. Our four days were spent enjoying everything and simply relaxing. I can’t say enough about the friendly staff that exceeded our expectations. I would like to give a special thanks to Milton our dinner waiter who helped us make our choices for dinner specials and we ate at the Atlantic restaurant every night because it was so good and prepared perfectly every time. Milton is a great person to have on your team. Mike from the Concierge staff helped me out with a special treat for my wife whose birthday was during our stay. He made sure to have a card and treats waiting in our suite upon arrival. We will be back next year to decompress again.

It was definitely a well cared for property, but our room was a bit dated, the restaurant food was very good - but wait times were ridiculous and very expensive. Luckily, there are lots of good restaurants off property.

High-end resort with beautiful facilities but the restaurant wasn’t to the same standard. I thought the food was expensive and came out cold. The side order of mushrooms came out on a stone cold skillet, you could hold the skillet with your hand. The special that night I order was the seabass and risotto which was lukewarm. The restaurant wasn’t that busy so not sure how they let my food get cold. On a better note the king suit was amazing, so spacious and bathroom huge. The checkin staff were super kind, especially the one who checked us in was so helpful. We had forgotten our complementary cocktails vouchers, which she came to deliver to us by had at our room.
