Comfort Suites Near Universal Orlando Resort

Hotel was older but nice. Area is a little questionable. Could use a good makeover.

It was a very n8ce stay. Quiet at night, amazing breakfast and thr hot tub and pool were clean, smelled clean and in great working order. The staff especially nice also

If it wasn’t for the excellent service and the good breakfast variety, my review would be much lower. I would like to congratulate the manager, as he has done a very good job with what is within his control, especially regarding the service. However, the owner URGENTLY needs to invest in the property. The bathtub in Room 204 was in terrible, almost dangerous condition. It was sunken in the middle, crooked, and very slippery. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to request a room change because we were very busy visiting the parks. Another thing I did not like was that the shuttle to Universal is not located at the hotel itself. Guests have to walk to the neighboring hotel, which is about a 3-minute walk away. While it is not far, this detail is not clearly advertised. Also, the return shuttle schedule at night ends earlier than the park closing times. Finally, I would like to thank the employees whose kindness and service helped make our stay pleasant, especially the maintenance person who, upon our arrival to the first room with a damaged door, immediately arranged a room change.

Excellent location to Universal. An easy walk. Since we didn’t want to walk back from Universal after a full day of walking, we asked about the shuttle. You had to sign up between 7-11a. We missed that sign up due to our arrival time and had no interest in getting up early to stand in a line to sign up so we paid $35 to park. The hotel needs an option to sign up in the evening as well. The kitchen staff did an excellent job of keeping all the options available at breakfast. Consistently restocking. This is the first time that’s happened for us. All staff were friendly and greeted you with a ‘welcome’ or ‘welcome back’, regardless of position. We’ll stay here when we visit Universal again.
