The hotel is conveniently located minutes away from historic downtown. It was clean and pet friendly. However, please note is on the highway and very noisy. Apparently, there were construction workers staying at the same time as us and they were leaving around 5am which made it difficult to sleep. The front desk attendant was friendly. A nice place overall for the price and location.

Pool was clear, room was veryyyyyyy noisy .. literally asked my husband several times if the door was open. We booked 3 nights and couldn’t stay the 3rd but the days inn would not allow a credit … that is poor customer service and will not be back there, nor people we know they go to the area

So, I stayed at this motel, and let me tell you, it was a total letdown. The rooms were filthy, and the property itself looked dirty too. I asked to check the room before checking in, and when I did, I found hair in the tub and toilet, and the floor was covered in dirt. They said they had no other rooms, so I told them I couldn’t stay there, and they said I had already paid. I left, but my husband came back and explained that it wasn’t what we had paid for. They finally gave us another room, but it was dirtier than the first one. My husband was really upset and said we could only stay for one night. We ended up staying out late, just to sleep, but we barely got any sleep. The street noise was constant - trucks, cars, and even police sirens. We were woken up by the shouting at the gas station across the street. This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. The online photos don’t do justice to the room. The rooms are all dirty and not clean at all. The food vending machine didn’t work, and the chips in it were expired from 2023. There were no drinks in the drinks vending machine either. The property was not well-kept, and it wasn’t worth the price they charge a night. DON’T BOOK THIS MOTEL!

We did not get the room we ordered. I needed an accessible room and when we checked in they had giving my room away. I had even called 2 weeks ahead to make sure they had a room for me. They moved us to another room the next day and that room was a nightmare. the toilet was not fasten down to the floor and the handicapped bar was not attached to the shower wall. the bolt lock on the door did not work . the wash cloths and towels had stains on them and. the room was not clean ..

Usually at many hotels the rooms are nice but the bathrooms are terrible. This has a nice clean and remodeled bathroom that is very spacious. I even felt like I could take a bath. It really added a lot to the stay.

When we first pulled up to the hotel we weren't sure... but once inside the room it was very clean & looked recently updated. The bed & pillows were very comfy! Large screen TV with sports channels, hbo, etc. We were happy about that since we were watching a college game. Shower pressure wasn't great, but the bathroom was clean. We took a very short walk to main street and had dinner. It was very convenient and we felt safe walking.

They are in the process of renovating and we got one of the newly renovated rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean. We have two dogs and I was thrilled to see plank flooring instead of carpet.

Huge gas station/store construction project next door. A lot of construction workers staying at this motel are up at 3:30-4:00 am and make lots of noise getting ready for work. Don’t get me wrong, I’m proud of hard working people, it’s just not conducive to our sleeping. When I booked online it said “pet friendly” and nothing about a fee. On the second day the front desk called asking if we had a dog. Answer was yes, and he said I needed to come and pay him $20. I did & no receipt for the cash I gave him. Barely a thank you, but there’s a bit of a language translation there. We won’t stay there again, but the room was clean.

The weekend staff is a hateful old lady, the housekeeping staff wants you gone by 9 and they are quite vocal about it, in between a CBD gas station and a construction pit, with a pathetic mexican restaurant onsite that wont mix a margarita outside happy hour. Avoid this place, spend the extra $4 and stay somewhere nice with professional staff.

The check in was speedy and friendly. Did not ask may question about holding any money till check out etc. I have already paid on line. Just ID and gave me the key. Room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was also very clean. The hotel does not look much from the outside, but it was nice in the inside and closed to the town where you can find food etc.

The hotel is a good stay. There are not many hotels in the Clayton area. It’s walking distance to the shops in the downtown area, a Mexican restaurant on the premise, and walking distance to an Ingles grocery store and large gas station that makes made to order burritos. We felt safe and comfortable. It’s a solid stay for passing through or staying in the area a couple nights. I’ve stayed at the competing hotels in the area, and the Days Inn is the best. Will book again.

The property is dated. The toilet in our room, had a constant drip noise in the tank and there were a lot of dirty places in the grout on the shower walls. The breakfast was very limited. Two kinds of cereal, waffles a couple of pastry choices and fruit. We did not use the pool due to weather.

Area for breakast is small and crowded. Coffee pot needs to be moved out of the corner.. Room is nice and adequate, bed was comfortable. The door was missing part of deep bolt lock. Fan in bath is loud, a/c is loud. Needs more updated plugs around bed area. Room has no click.
