Friendly staff. Nice pool and a playground with a picnic area. Many breakfast options and tea/coffee in the lobby. We booked a family room that consisted of the main room and a smaller interior room with two beds for the kids. This setup worked very well for our family of 4. I wish more hotels had options like this. The laundry area was clean and easy to use. The free shuttle bus that goes to Bar Harbor and Acadia stops at the entrance of the hotel. Mini golf and ice cream place are a short walking distance away.

Nice stay, rooms were clean but a bit dark, breakfast above US standard, nice pool, location close to park entrance and 10 minutes from Bar Harbor. We were a bit disappointed that we were not allowed to use the fire pit in the backyard which was locked. The reason given was “we have no staff to operate it“. We didn’t ask for anyone to operate it and would have been responsible guests that wanted to have a good time with our kids.

It was a great stay! The location provided easy access to Arcadia National Park. The breakfast was excellent and the attendants were welcoming and receptive to all our needs. The pool was great and the property was very relaxing. The front desk staff were friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable about activities in the surrounding area! Shout out to Mr. Ireland!!! His suggestions were spot on! If we are ever in the area again, we would stay here

I like that you can park right in front of your room. The non- heated pool was kept in clean condition. They do need to fix the ice machine went to two different machine and no ice came out. The breakfast was good and breakfast staff were friendly and keep every item filled. The location was right where we wanted to be if you are exploring Acadia National park. Located 10 minutes away driving. Over all we would recommend staying at this hotel.

My family and I had a good time here. It was a comfortable and clean space to come back to. The breakfast was just right for starting our day. My kids really liked jumping in the pool after a long walk on a trail.

Breakfast on the last morning of our stay was yucky. Canned corn beef hash was the only “meat”. The room was spacious but the walk in shower was cramped and drain cover was not attached. The pool was closed at dusk, before 8:30PM. A shame because the location was great and the lobster at the place next door was enjoyable.

We really liked staying here during our visit to Acadia National Park. It was just far enough away from the chaos of Bar Harbor and the immediate park entrance area to be relaxing, quiet, and comfortable. But it was also close enough to drive into the park or Bar Harbor in around 10 minutes. The parking was always easy, the beds were comfy, the rooms were clean and had everything we needed. We even used the laundry facility during our stay and it was great too. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

It was clean and nice. Bathrooms were great and recently upgraded. Breakfast was above average.They only cleaned the rooms every 3 days which was an issue with garbage. There wasn't a place for us to put recycling. They have an issue with not enough ice machines and people taking too much ice for their coolers.

Really great experience. Check in after dark was greeted by a very kind employee rooms were ready immaculately clean. Great location near Bar Harbor and Acadia national Park. Highly recommend

This is an older propperty, the walls are very thin and you can hear all of your neighbors. The room itself was very clean, the property is well maintained. Overall good for a night or two but would not want to stay for longer trips.

I booked this hotel because we were passing through on our way home from Nova Scotia and I wanted a nice place to rest for my wife and I. The price was higher than most other places around which, for me, signaled that it should be a very nice place for a night. Nope! The room was in a little annex behind the main building. The room was very clean, yes. But they used pergot flooring (or wood laminate or something) throughout the main room and bathroom. Combined with the hard and sparse walls, this meant that there was no noise dampening whatsoever. That lack of dampening works in larger hotel buildings with thicker walls but this building's walls are paper thin! It was basically an echo chamber. We could literally hear every conversation our neighbors were having (not to mention their constantly barking dog). And I hope you like hearing your partner use the toilet because, again, paper thin walls, a bathroom door that doesn't actually close tightly (sliding barn door style that's so popular these days), and zero sound dampening. I get what they were likely going for design-wise, but they should have thought it through a little better. Sadly, this was a nearly $400 single-night stay that we will never repeat again.

This is a 1960s or 1970s motel. It was clean but dated and tired. The bathroom had a barn door which doesn’t create much privacy. The property is reasonably close to Acadia National Park but for $350 a night I was expecting much more.

The hotel was clean and the staff super friendly. The only downside was that no matter what the room always felt damp. We had the AC running and the bathroom fan on, but nothing got rid of the dampness.

Very thoughtfully equipped room. We had everything we needed. Only slight problem is that the barn doors aren't sound blocking at all on the second bedroom and bathroom, so there wasn't much privacy and you couldn't, for instance, watch TV in the main room while kids were trying to sleep in the bedroom.

It is a nice place to stay in the middle price range to visit Acadia National Park. Breakfast is a good continental breakfast with plenty of options. Cookies by front desk are yummy. Approximately 5-7 minute drive to Acadia National Park, very convenient and it wasn’t super crowded when we were there. My only complaint to give 4 stars instead of 5 is that the a/c didn’t work great.

The service at this property was outstanding. One woman at reception offered to drive us to the ferry after her shift. We decided to hop on the shuttle, and then she showed up at the terminal with my grandson’s water bottle that he had left in the hotel lobby. I believe her name was Mary.

Peggy, the concierge, provided an estimated time for one room, and to our delight, both rooms were prepared well before that estimate, allowing us to continue our day seamlessly.

Gentleman host at breakfast is the biggest asset to the hotel. He’s wonderful and very attentive to everyone. The negative, the hotel is showing its age and wear and tear. Needs updating. I came out of the shower expecting to be able to use hair dryer. It took 30 minutes and my husband to finally track someone down to provide a working hair dryer. Next our TV was not working. We were told no maintenance employee were working. We were changed to another room. In the end, after staying at this hotel for multiple years, we were disappointed in the decline.

We had an amazing stay at the Best Western Acadia Park Inn! Traveling with our two dogs, we were delighted by the friendly and accommodating staff who made us feel right at home. The bedroom was impeccably clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The surrounding area was perfect for walking our dogs, and it was clear that the grounds were well taken care of, full of beautiful flowers, including my favorites—peonies and rhododendrons. Breakfast was fantastic, offering both hot and cold options, including fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereal. The availability of hot tea and water in the lobby throughout the day was a nice touch. The hotel is conveniently located close to the Acadia National Park Visitor Center and just a few minutes away from Bar Harbor with all its shops and restaurants. We wish we had time to enjoy the pool! We highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again!

Average accommodations at a reasonable price, considering the prices of the other hotels in the area. The location is great if you want to be close to Bar Harbor and need a pet friendly place. When I went to check in, I mentioned we were traveling with our dog and were told that they did not have a pet friendly room, even though Orbitz had advertised them as being pet friendly. I said that I had written in the requests/notes section that I was traveling with our dog and she seemed irritated and said that she guessed our room would have to be dog friendly for the night then. I’m thankful that she let us stay, but her attitude was off putting. Perhaps this wouldn’t be an issue if Orbitz communicated with the hotel that a pet is staying if the “pet friendly” filter is checked? Other than the issue with my dog, the motel was clean, in a good location, and quiet.

For the price the room was below average. We stayed 5 nights (convenient to Acadia NP). No maid service offered until day 3 but towels, wash cloths and shampoo were only supplied for one day. The beds were too soft. Breakfast was hot and cold but it was the same thing every day. All cereals were of the sugary variety. Some Raisin Bran would have been nice. Bananas were out out but unless you were standing right there you didn’t get one and more were not put out for awhile. Plenty of apples nobody wanted.
