Cambria Hotel Pigeon Forge

Booked this hotel as we went to Dollywood for my wife’s birthday. Paid more than I should have due to the amenities of this place. One reason I chose this hotel as it had a full bar and a restaurant. Upon arrival neither were open nor did it look like they had been the first night. We get to our room which was on. 4th floor. The shade did not work. Had to call service desk. They lady told wife there is no more king rooms available. So I speak to the lady and magically we are given the king room that is for people with a disability. That wasn’t told to us until we got the room. Just felt bad as what if a person in need actually needed that room. The new room is 1/2 the size of the original and has no couch. Room was clean as was bathroom. Fridge was not turned on I received a text the next morning indicating that they do not come in and service room unless you ask before 8pm the previous night. We were not told this at all or I would have requested it and would not have been an issue. This really was frustrating. Even motel 6 will come in and clean your room up and make the bed. We get back to hotel from being out all day around 4pm fully expecting the bar and restaurant to be open. Nope. Was told my the girl at the desk they are not open this weekend as if it’s the standard. There were no notes in room or let us know when we got there saying this. Nothing. Very disappointing and frustrating considering they advertise themselves as a boutique hotel

The outside pool was closed. When we finally seen the pool it was green.

False advertisement for amenities. Fire pit didn’t work , no bartender and no roof top lounge

Had a really good stay at this hotel, the gym and the pool were amazing amenities to have. Also the amazing views around the hotel and how easy it was to get to The Island. Great location!

This was the perfect location to stay in Pigeon Forge! It is in close proximity to everything, clean, safe, and has an awesome pool. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or place to stay during our vacation!

Misleading listings said they have a hot tub. They don't. Pool was freezing, and has no shade spots at all. Not even table umbrellas. Chairs and fire pits randomly around. Nobody organizes them. Pool gate didn't latch. Bar wasn't open. Resturaunt wasn't open. $10 for breakfast if the resturaunt was open. Room was clean at least. Fridge was frosted over and not cooling.

Didn’t have the breakfast but everything else was excellent including ample parking.

It was quiet with plenty of parking. Its a newer hotel so it was clean and everything was normal as it should be. Barely anyone there, so parking wasnt an issue. You can walk around the area easily and the Parkway is close along with a lot of dining options and not really much traffic in area. I had the mountain view room and its really not much of a view, I dont think its worth the extra cost, but the room was smaller than what I am used to. I would not mind extra cost if they offered a suite or a larger room, but the "view" not worth it. This will likely change once they get into summer and parking will probably fill up and like all newer hotels at this price point it will become more and more dirty as guests start to make it dirty. Hopefully not , but that is the way it usually goes.

New hotel so it was clean but you can tell they were short staffed. They never came by to clean out room. We had to go downstairs to the front desk to get towels. Also pool was not open and they didn’t know when it would open.

The hotel was beautiful. Pool area amazing. But the only thing we missed were umbrellas at pool tables. Hotel was immaculate. Beds were so comfy along with the pillows. But so like most hotels now no maid service for three days unless requested night before. We did do this on our second night and had to request towels and wash cloths. Didn't like that. But in overall the rooms were spacious, very modern and clean. And a large walk in shower. We didn't dine there too many places in area to dine But we were going to do breakfast it was 9:30 and they were out of waffle mix and wouldn't make anymore up so we left and went else where for breakfast. Breakfast was a charge on 9.99 if anyone is interested. We'll stay there again. Rates about the same as most of the hotels around We don't drink but there was a small bar. And a small restaurant

The toilet struggled to flush everytime and the seat was loose. Only one wash cloth was in the bathroom for 2 people. Room didn’t seem very clean, a piece of a mop head was in the floor and hairs in the bathroom and tweezers on the couch. Don’t think we will be back. Much better options in the area.

There was hair all over the top comforter. on both beds. We made front desk aware immediately and she gave us another room only to see the same thing there. There was trash left by the elevators only to be picked up the next morning. Our window shade was broken so we had it up the entire stay and people could see in our room at night. The breakfast option was subpar and too expensive for what you get and the area. Otherwise, great location, easy parking, and modern facility with a nice pool...needs more shade and seating though.

The hotel was very well kept including our room. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was in a great location.

Checked in after an 11 hour drive only to fond roaches crawling around the floor and out of the bathroom shower. Changed rooms because it was late at night and no other options to leave and found hair on the comforters. To top it off, taking a shower in the morning the drains flooded and we could take a minimum 5 min shower before the water went over the sides. Rooms 401 terrible! No compesation or apologies from the staff. Will never return. Top many good places nearby for next time.

No housekeeping providing, dirty floor in room

Brand new property with a nice lobby and bar area. Rooms were spacious, beautiful and comfortable. Nice size bathroom, spacious shower typical of a hotel chain of this class. We chose this property for its newness and convenience which it delivered. However, no house keeping were available even after daily requests, only towels were changed out and trash emptied. This made a huge impact to the comfort of our stay for a family of 4 in one room staying multiple days. No housekeeping was not mentioned during booking or upon check-in. When I made requests I was told our room would be cleaned but never were. I find the cleaning standards need more work, upon check in the bathroom was not properly cleaned and floors were sticky.

I travel a lot and this is not good to have to pay for breakfast bar. This is the first hotel I have had to do that. Also the only hotel I have stayed in the last 10 years that didn't have a microwave in each room.No ice machine,. had to go to bar to get ice. Not good. Killed a roach in my room as well. Staff was excellent.Room was clean and comfortable.

Needed somewhere to stay for the night. Found this place and it looked incredible. Checked in and everything I saw online I saw there. Super clean and friendly staff. Had a few drinks at the bar with my fiancé and Brian j was our bartender. Super super nice and friendly guy. Was a nice change from the bar tenders we usually deal with at other hotels

Beautiful & clean newer property.

Loved this hotel from the moment we walked into the lobby to check in until the minute we checked out. Friendly, helpful staff attended to everything with a smile. The lobby, hallways and rooms were clean and fresh. The beds were comfy and even though the hotel was pretty full, it was nice and quiet for bed time! Will definitely stay here again.

Blinds did not work so they moved us to another room, only the blackout blinds worked in it. Internet kept going in and out and one evening it went completely out and did not come back in until next day. I will say staff was great and place was clean. Just need to work on the mechanical side of things. No microwave in rooms but you can use one in lobby. Does have a small in room fridge.

Loved the hotel! Very spacious! Great area! Not too far from the island. The only complaint is the tv kept resetting periodically.

the hotel is clean and the staff was very nice the only bad i can say is theres alot of noise you can hear the walls are paper thin and the vent in your room is very loud and we were not a fan of the sliding door to the bathroom doesnt leave mush privacy in there other then that for the price you cant go wrong you are pretty close to drive to all the attractions

I was never offered internet services. Shower door was hard to slide. Room had no microwave so i couldnt warm anything up if i was hungry. Every morning all that woke me up was the slamming of doors. Dont understand why they are made to slam.

Room & Hotel were beautiful and clean. Staff were outstanding and always happy and talkative. Although we did not utilize the bar. It was very nice in the lobby, people seemed to enjoy it. Loved the bathroom amenities. Soap and body wash! Views were gorgeous from our room on the 5th floor! Close to everything in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville!

The room was clean and larger than most hotel rooms! It was very quiet too. The beds were comfortable and the black out blind made it extra cozy for sleeping! The whole property is very clean and esthetically pleasing! Great location!

I liked that it was a newer Hotel , It looked nice. I did not like the darking curtains was not working

Pillows were too hard and AC kept going on and off disturbing our sleep

The hotel is very up to date; the room was very spacious and nice; the staff friendly and helpful. There wasn’t a microwave in the room! I wasn’t happy about that at all; as nice as the hotel was, but had no microwave. Every choice motel/hotel I’ve stayed in has a microwave, and I am a Diamond member, so I’ve stayed in quite a few. Ive had bad muscle spasms this weekend, unfortunately, always carry a heat wrap for that reason, and had to go to the lobby to use a microwave. Very inconvenient! Also, the cost of breakfast was $10; for 3 of us would be $30. Breakfast was nothing special at all! We went out to eat. For theses reasons, we won’t be staying again.

What an amazing place to stay. From the front desk to the room it was an amazing experience. The staff were amazing and the lobby and room were so clean. We used to stay at another hotel when we came and I tried this one out this time and I am so glad that I did. I have found my new hotel when I travel to Pigeon Forge. I will definitely be back. If your looking for an amazing place to rest your head then look no further then here. I don’t have any negative things to say. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

The room I was given had a dirty toilet, the second room had hairs on the floor so I can tell that the cleanliness is not very good. Staff needs more customer service modals such as good night or you are welcome. Beds were uncomfortable. For a hotel that doesnt have breakfast and everything else is average I would book somewhere else.

The location was great. Its not walkimg distance because it shoulders a busy highway. That was one mileading thing in the description, however it is a 5 minute drive from everything you need. The bar was not open Sunday or Monday snd when it was an attendent gave us wine. There was no bartender. Room service is by request or every three days. This was probably my least favorite part. With 2 kids, food, pool etc I felt like our room should have been serviced everyday. When I requested the service on the second day it didnt happen until after 4pm and they disnt leave us any toliet paper or take all of our trash. The hotel was very clean as was our room, I just felt housekeeping was sub par. Also a light in our room was broken amd I reported it day one and it was never fixed. The pool was awesome and great for kids! I did not experience this, but I often saw a long line of people waiting at the front desk and I never saw more than one person (or noone) there. Overall it was a good experience. I think the hotel is pretty new and was definitely understaffed. I think thats why it was a great deal. Once they work out the kinks I think it will be great.

Firstly the property is brand new. So well appointed with every little detail thought through in the rooms. However, a property is nothing without the staff. All of the staff we encountered on our trip we delightful, yet Camillo (apologies for the spelling) was outstanding. On check in he was dealing with a really difficult guest and dealt with her in such a professional way. He was so pleasant throughout the stay and is a credit to the team.

I was disappointed at the work ethic most of the staff had. Seemed to inconvenience them when coming to breakfast buffet at 7:15am and had to ask if it was open, sign clearly says 7am-10am. I had to do that twice, the young man working kitchen was on top of his game which is was nice. Unfortunately for him the other gal was very lax of daisy and didn’t seem to really have a sense of urgency to help guests. Very disappointing for what we paid nightly and we also had to pay 9.99 each, should’ve drove down a mile and went to a pancake house and cheaper hotel for same experience.

Service was extremely slow and the keys did not work half the time, you had to come back down again and reprogram it - unnecessary pain.

The front desk was helpful in extending our stay and getting us checked in at 5am.

The general manager was absolutely amazing, she was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The staff was knowledgeable when we had questions.

The hotel was close to all the attractions we wanted to do while in Pigeon Forge. The hotel room was clean and quiet.

Really nice and great location

While this Hotel is not walkable to shopping and dining it is located perfectly to get around. It’s located above the Island and is a short drive to anywhere you want to walk, shop, or eat. The Cambria is clean, has comfortable beds, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Some opt for a cabin to stay in when visiting the Smoky Mountain National Park. That could be a hit or miss when renting a short term rental for only two people. Staying at the Cambria was the best option for us. The hotel was exceptional. The room was nicely appointed with a view of the mountains and the bed was probably one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on in all my travels. It was conveniently close to The Island of Pigeon Forge and the downtown area, about 5 minute drive. I would definitely stay at this hotel when in the area.

Place was clean and nice. Breakfast was not included, which was stated on the website, but we didn’t expect the breakfast to be so limited and like a regular continental breakfast and it to be an additional charge for not many options.

Breakfast was overpriced for the selection provided. Stayed at a lot of hotels and this was a traditional continental and not the true buffet as advertised. Check in took a minute due to rooms were not ready. We did arrive at 3 and check in was at 4. Overall, stay was okay.

Super clean, comfortable and new. So new they do not have dining service figured out yet. If you are here for baseball, don’t plan to rely on restaurant for meals. Breakfast is just the normal hotel breakfast but they charge $10 for “breakfast buffet.” Everything else excellent!

The amenities are OK. All the stuff is too expensive and you shouldn’t have to pay for that breakfast.

We had an amazing stay. My nephews birthday trip room was very nice amazing service. Rooms were so clean and spacious and bright. The only thing the bar service was wonderful but drinks to high will be back soon🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had an overnight stay and breakfast the next morning which was very good. The staff was excellent the room was very nice! I would recommend staying there

The room, staff, and experience was great all around. The room was clean and modern. The bed was pretty good and the TV had a casting option which was great for watching what we wanted to watch. The only complaint we have is of the breakfast buffet. We were informed it was $9.99 for the all you can eat breakfast buffet and we got pretty excited. Unfortunately breakfast was what most hotels offer for free. Make your own waffles, French toast sticks, scrambled eggs that tasted like they weren't real, sausage, and potatoes that were under seasoned. Don't get me wrong, it was all very edible and okay, but most hotels offer this same breakfast for free, so paying $9.99 for it and you're better off hitting up a drive thru for the same price and better food.

Clean room and common area. Breakfast was poor quality and $10 per person. Sausage gravy was cold. Pancakes were hard as a rock.

Nice modern ambiance. YouTube in the room is great and the beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly. The breakfast needs work. Many hotels offer this type of breakfast for free, but you charge. Therefore: On our second day, the bacon was not cooked, not crispy, practically raw and the eggs were cold, folded like an omelette but with nothing inside. There was cheese on the side, but since the eggs were cold this did not work. Nice Buffett staff.
