Best Western Summit Inn

Everything was great, except that the pool heater was broken, and the water was too cold to use the pool. Small thing, but left us with little to do at the hotel.

Pool heater wasnt working and beds were a little stiff. Beyond that overall decent stay.

Our room was clean, and well maintained along with the rest of the hotel. Pool was open and also well maintained, set aside from a spot they had marked off with tape and chairs due to the side crumbling a little. Breakfast wss absolutly amazing, coffee is avaliable, on tap at that, 24/7. The only issues we really had was having to have our room card re keyed twice.

My 5-year-old son got deep cuts on his foot while swimming here. When I reported it, the staff only offered a bandage and told me to come back the next day to speak with the manager, even though other kids were still in the pool. Very unsafe and disappointing response to a serious issue.

The two ladies working the front desk when I checked in were EXTREMELY helpful. They were very knowledgeable about the area. They answered every question I had and recommended restaurants my family might enjoy. I immediately felt comfortable and welcomed in this hotel. My teen kids loved the pool and mini arcade area. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Basic accommodations. The tv was a nice size. We had no issues. I would recommend to others and stay again.

A bit surprised by the excellent rating for this property because it definitely wasn't. The area around the hotel is pretty seedy. Alot of undesirable people hanging around. At times it felt unsafe. When we walked into the room, the air conditioning had been turned off so the room was very humid and the sheets and comforter on the bed had a dampness to them. Not a great first impression and it made the room feel dirty and uncomfortable. The beds were comfortable though. The bathroom was clean though. Pool was disappointing. It was either really dirty or too much chemical was put in. Either way it was so cloudy, you couldnt see your feet and it tasted really salty. I found this out the hard way. Also, a chunk of the ledge had prviously broken off and there were two plastic chairs with Caution tape tied around them warning people to stay away from the broken section. There were still small pieces of the broken stone edge resting at the bottom of the pool and I stepped on several of them, hurting my foot. The pool is only about 4 feet deep all around. Breakfast in the morning was good. Just your average waffles, eggs, turkey sausage and such. One thing that should be changed, in my opinion anyway, is the size of the cups they provide for drinks. They're literally the size of dixie cups. Excercise room- a little oudated but functional. I wont stay her again. For almost $200 a night, its not worth it. I expected alot more then we got.

This is a surprisingly large property and it is always spotless. Super easy free parking, long breakfast hours with lots of options, a nice indoor pool and comfortable rooms. This is my go-to hotel when visiting Niagara and the university.

The room was well appointed and clean BUT there was a terrible rusted out toilet paper fixture that was obviously old and put up.poorly. That one thing was such a turn off and so out of place. When everything is SO NICE, one raggedy item really stands out, but I am rating hotel high because it literally was the only flawed thing.

Room was not very clean. White privacy curtains were dirty. Sink area had dirt on walls. Tub had hair. First morning when leaving room there were empty beer cans and trash left directly in front of our door. Left swim clothes in room after we checked out. I called 3 times to get items back. Manager(Sam)never called me back. Front desk told me they didn't find the items. Immediate area around hotel is not the best but if driving there are restaurants not too far. Breakfast is ok.

I don’t know if these reviews are legit but my experience with this hotel was horrible. When booking a hotel I read reviews to help decide where I will book. I expect three things, cleanliness, comfort & above all else safety. I was not provided any of these things at this property. The first night, our tail light was busted out. They only have cameras in the breezeway. No cameras and parking lot was not well lit. Area was sketchy. Staff entered our room when we were out even though we had DND posted on our door. Carpet in room was sticky. Something splattered across cabinet doors. Pool was ice cold. Area around pool marked off with caution tape. Breakfast was cold. Except the waffles that you make yourself. Overall it was the worst experience I’ve had with a hotel and we travel at least once a month. If you want safety, cleanliness & comfort, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.

My first room smelled really bad. On the first day, I got some air fresheners and charcoal to see if it would help clear up the smell. I was out all day and when I returned to the room, it still smelled bad. I discovered there was mold in the ac unit. I talked with the person at the front desk and they switched my room. The second room smelled way better and felt cleaner than the first room. When I checked in, I was told that breakfast would be the same thing every morning. I didn’t mind having the same options, but I felt like the sausage links were several days old. They were stale. I enjoyed the other breakfast choices. The seating and the breakfast area looked like they were recently renovated and felt clean and bright. The staff was incredibly friendly. The room and beds were okay but I wasn’t expecting a luxury stay for the price.

Nice hotel vcose to Niagara Falls. Clean, silent, although located at main street. Would book it again.

It wasn’t very good. The bed felt like it was 100 years old and wasn’t comfortable at all—it squeaked constantly. The pillows were also terrible.

The shower is poorly designed. You end up with water all over the bathroom! The sink as well! Other than that, it’s okay for the price.

The pricing wasn't bad if you are being charged less than 150 a night. I would not pay over $200 or more a night for the outdate and crowded room space. The hotel is very outdated. The rooms are small/compacted. There is no shelving or closet. The outlets were wore out we could not plug anything into lamp area or the side wall where the T.V was. The closet space was just enough to hang a few items if you needed to use it. The bathroom was so small you had to walk all the way in to close the door The sink was not in the bathroom it was stationed outside the bathroom. The door into bathroom actually touched the toilet to get in it, that's how small the bathroom was. The tub was not draining well. The staff was nice but not accommodating to issues if you needed a newer room, they made us accept the issues we had and denied any accommodations because they said they would miss out on renting out the room. But if the room has issues why would you rent it out to someone else. If I ever visit Niagara Falls again. I'm sorry, I will not stay here again. Overall, really did not like this one.

This is the suite with 3 beds. The room is very large. However, the sanity sink is too narrow, not enough space to put all stuff. Many of the electrical outlets are not working. There's always some water leaking out to the floor and even outside of tge bathroom after showering no matter how we carefully put the shower curtain.

Very noisy. Beds are wore out. Only 1 electric outlet worked in my room. The breakfast was mediocre at best, compared to other Best Western's I would stay somewhere else next time.

Short one night stay. No issues. Rooms are old, slight musty smell.

Nice place to stay. Close enough to Niagara, about 10 minute drive to the falls. Room was nice bed was comfortable. The only complaint is that they have the lowest toilets that I have ever seen. They look like they were designed for kids. I didn’t even know that they made them that low. I’m 69 and have bad knees and it was difficult to get up from it. However, the bathroom is so poorly designed that a larger toilet would not fit in the space. Other than that, I have no complaints

Place is dated but clean. Bathroom is very cramped that you have to maneuver around just to close the door. Otherwise, it’s okay.

The staff was so wonderful ! I left my cell phone in the room at checkout. They called within minutes and I was able to return for it. So helpful! Wonderful breakfast, hot coffee 24 /7, clean, comfortable, safe.

Front staff was great. Cleaning ladies were rude and cussing and complaining during breakfast. Made you feel uncomfortable asking for help with things such as asking them to check the roster since bread was burning and refilling the waffle maker.

Property was located close to attractions and entry into Canada. Did not like that this hotel refused to credit back-room charges for a date earlier in the same week. Stay was cancelled due to Delta Airlines flight delays. Hotel was offered the reason for the cancelling of stay, and given the option to use the 3 days stay booked on another trip, and not have to credit back the initial 3 day stay. They also refused that option. Be advised--this hotel does not give refunds if your stay is cancelled. They keep your money. A poor business practice that results in a poor review. Hopefully future customers will read this comment and reconsider staying at this hotel.

Neighborhood is surprisingly quiet as was the hotel. Plenty of towels and clean bedding. Staff were helpful at check-in including a list of local restaurants and directions throughout the hotel.

Will not return! Room key was deactivated everyday where we had to obtain a new key upon our return. Staff was watched my husband like he was stealing at breakfast.

I have stayed at this hotel many times but this time there was a smell in our room of marajuana so bad, seemed to be in the bathroom as if it was coming from the next room. When we mentioned it to staff they said it was from outside but we were not near a door and the windows don’t open. It was so strong. Seem 2 of their workers coming in from outside and they just smelled of weed so bad. Was pretty sure they were going in the maintenance roll. Or the room next to us and smoking. Not sure I’ll return in the future

It’s ok to stay for a night or two, they offer breakfast and also a lot of places around to eat or go shopping it’s just 15min away from the falls, not bad at all

This property is good and only 7 to 8 mins drive away from Niagara Falls. It was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast is fine with usual stuff provided by all hotels in USA.

Close to airport

Good location for the price and restaurants in the area. Shopping is good and grocery is close by. Only 10 to 15 min to the Falls.

Just needed a place to lay down before catching the train. It was clean and updated but location was not the greatest. Staff were very friendly.

The breakfast is mediocre and the internet wifi is horrible because I barely get any connections to the internet.

Hotel is in great shape, nice & clean. Breakfast was exactly the same all 4 mornings we were there! It was just ok. Main complaint was our room was way at the back of the hotel, the door we had to use was in the middle but there was limited parking near that door! There was another door at the very end of this long hotel but it wasn’t accessible to get in from the outside! This needs to be a key card access door as there’s lots of parking towards the back.

Embarrassingly bad breakfast. We don’t expect a gourmet spread, but come on…. There’s no way the scrambled eggs were actually eggs and none of the waffle machines worked . We ended up going out for breakfast the second morning of our stay.

Rooms spacious & neat, coffee and juices available 24/7. Friendly staff. Only snag the distance from Niagara Falls . Bus service is available - 3 buses to take to the falls.

Room and hotel are kept clean which is the most important thing. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t great but I suppose you can’t expect much from these types of places. Staff could’ve been more welcoming but not unpleasant.
