Be sure to make a reservation for the rooftop bar even if staying at the hotel - we were advised it wasn’t necessary and were disappointed to find no tables available. The next night we made a reservation and waited 40 minutes for a bottle of water and two cocktails. Other than this experience the hotel and staff were fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel. The location for touring Lecce is unbelievable and the professionalism of the staff is excellent. Great few days, lovely food, and the trips to the beach via private transfer made the stay for us 1 the only place to stay in Lecce .

I loved every thing, excellent hotel, beautiful, great location delicious breakfast, fabulous staff & service, rooftop has the best view and great for appertivi. They also have a great beach club if you want to have an off day! Highly recommended.

To think, we almost changed our plans to go to Lecce, because of the heatwave across Italy. Oh my goodness! SO glad we kept to our plans to visit the Puglia region (the heel) of Italy. As a student of the Italian language, this region has been on my bucket list. The city is just lovely with its sandstone baroque buildings and churches. Talk about a clean city….it is pristine! The people are friendly (actually, I think even friendlier than other regions we have visited in this “bel paese”). The hotel reflects the city in its beauty, charm, and friendly, attentive service, from the bellman (whose name escapes me), and Allessia in reception, to the waiter Hamayun, waitress Irene, hostess (Beatrice?) and Beatrice in housekeeping (room 219), who was so accommodating. The welcome Prosecco (Borgo Molino) is the best I’ve ever tasted :) Oh…our stay included a free shuttle to San Foca, an exquisitely gorgeous beach, as well as lounge chairs, umbrella, towels, and chilled bottles of water! The beach has a casual sit-down restaurant with an assortment of seafood dishes. The frutti di mare salad was 5-star delicious! Truly, I cannot say enough about Patria Palace. In my opinion, it deserves a 5 star rating. I left a piece of my heart in Lecce. Patria Palace, abbiamo trascorso un periodo memorabile. Grazie mille :)

Nous avons eu la chambre 123, spacieuse, du cachet, belle et cosy. Elle est divisée en 2 espaces : nuit et un espace salon / bureau. La literie est excellente (j’adorerais avoir les mêmes coussins) et c’est propre. On jouit d’une petite vue sur la basilique Croce, magnifique et situation idéale (tout peut se faire à pieds dans un rayon de 10-15mn). Le petit déjeuner est très bon et varié. Quant au personnel, il est discret, agréable et efficace. Cet hôtel est réellement le plus bel établissement que nous avons fréquenté dans les Pouilles !!

Excellent location and service overall. However, there was some mold in the bathroom which is not acceptable in this type of establishment and it took almost 1h to get my car when I left with the young valet giving me attitude - not what I expect in this type of place.

Dois problemas relevantes pra mim: 1 - ar condicionado ruim, quarto quente, temperatura entre 23-25 graus, nao abaixava mais; 2 - travesseiros bem ruins, incompativeis com 5 estrelas, sentia as bolas de espuma. Dito isso, nao sei se teria outro hotel do mesmo nivel la, e na localizacao dele. O carro demora 30 minutos pra buscar.

Hotel renovado dentro de um prédio antigo, no centro de Lecce. Permite conhecer todo o centro histórico a pé. Nosso quarto era grande, ótima roupa de cama e banho. Café da manhã maravilhoso e ótimo serviço. Única questão é o Wifi que não funciona bem!

This is a beautiful hotel. The first room we were given was tiny and dark, we asked to change and they were very accommodating but charged 20 euro a night for the change. Really? I found that petty. Breakfast however was fantastic.

Everything was beautiful. This was a 16 th century palace converted into a hotel in 1997. Totally amazing. The best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. Plush, lush, extravagant, and phenomenal. In the best location. A phenomenal experience.

So glad we stayed at this beautiful hotel! The staff were lovely, friendly and went out of their way to help you. The best part was the wonderful breakfast everyday- from fruit, yogurt, delicious cakes and tarts, breads and cheeses not to mention the omelettes all to the background of violin and harp! Would definitely come back!!
