The Hotel and service was excellent. My only disappointment was the internet which was very slow. I do trading so I found it necessary to buy a French Sim in order to be able to get proper access to the internet. This should be addressed since it spoils the whole 5 star experience

Overall the property is very old. The carpet in the room has all kinds of stains it’s quite gross. The room also smells weird. We were there in January and even we turned the heater to max was still very cold in the room. Gym is so tiny. Impossible to workout.

This used to be a good hotel, but condition deteriorated and service has gotten to be very bad. This is August and A/C don’t work, internet keeps cutting out, in-room dining can’t get orders straight, hotel has restaurant, but guests not allowed to order from it for in-room dining. Carpet in rooms has to be 30 years old, bathrooms are deplorable. Horribly managed now.

I have stayed at this property many times before for the roof top terrace and the location. After bookng this hotel at a big premium during the olympics, I found out the roof top was bought out during my entire stay. The hotel is in serious need of a remodel. The plumbing, fixtures, furniture and carpets are not in good shape. Normally, I book the president suite which is not in as bad of a condition. Had I know the roof top was not available, I would have booked another hotel. And for my next trip, I will book a different hotel. Hopefully, the hotel will remodel in the near future because I do love the staff, the size of the hotel, and location.

Hôtel bien situé mais désuet dans ses équipements. Les réfrigérateurs datent et sont remplis de givre, le réglage de l'air conditionné n'est pas précis, les canapés et fauteuil sont douteux (cheveux, miettes,...), pas de machine à café dans des chambres dites Premium mais des sticks et une bouilloire, de mémoire de 5 étoiles , je n'ai jamais vu cela. La chambre n'étai pas prête à mon arrivée à 15 heures, il a fallu attendre 40 minutes, sur le balcon des feuilles, des mégots de cigarette... Je ne retournerai pas surtout à un tel tarif. Cet hôtel a besoin d'un sérieux rafraichissement. Le personnel est par contre serviable et charmant.

This is the fourth time we stayed at this wonderful 5* hotel - now in the Champs-Elyssees Suite on the 4th floor. Clean and bright with balcony surrounding the rooms. We absolutely loved Hotel Raphael. From the amazing decor, to the most helpful staff, and comfortable rooms, it was perfect. Sometimes boutique hotels aren't as great in terms of beds and bathroom space. Hotel Raphael has comfortable beds and large bathrooms. There is also tons of closet space. The food in the restaurant and room service was fantastic. The neighborhood is also clean, safe, and an easy walk to great shopping and restaurants - all while avoiding the crowds of more touristy neighborhoods. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Paris.

It was old historical beautiful hotel. I felt I am staying royalty property. Just one thing. There is no soundproof. I was even able to hear someone got up for bathroom use in the middle of night. I am not sensitive at all, but it was that much loud 😢 And floor is carpet which is very very old. If you are sensitive or allergic to carpet, maybe ask to hotel for different room? Otherwise beautiful! Oh! Breakfast was phenomenal as well. I miss it already.

Overall it’s a wonderful hotel and location and the staff is superb! I think the rooms mainly the living and bedroom areas need major renovations to freshen up the space. The carpets, sofa, drapes were all quite worn and better use of the space would make it so much more special especially at the cost.

Hôtel Raphael is an incredibly beautiful and historic hotel with an amazing and attentive staff. If your stay in Paris needs to be special, this is the place. We stayed in room 608 and it was incredible. The size of the suite is that is a nice apartment in Paris and the views of the Eiffel Tower from your own private terrace ( and bed) are near beyond words! This is the place that you have been looking for.

Was a great hotel 20-30 years ago, but went to hell. Management don’t care to take care of guests, filthy carpets, no wall outlets for electrical devices, service despicable. Its not a 5 star, it’s run down junk. Bellman won’t even load your luggage in the car, nor assist with bags. Terrible.

Very beautiful hotel in great location! We were so close to Trocadero & Champs Elysses. The whole staff was so friendly our entire stay and made us feel so welcome. The room had a beautiful Versailles style decor and was very nice. We’ll definitely stay again next time and maybe upgrade to a room with Eiffel Tower view.
