Great hotel for travelers. I got a great price off season. But would not pay a high rate in season. Not a 4 star by most standards. Pretty antiquey interior. But lacked basic conveniences like usb chargers. And elevator was put most of my stay. The room was also very very very warm. We were there begin Nov and we definitely needed ac. The hotel reported that ac was not available that time of year. I was drenched in sweat due to temperature of the room. Front desk suggested we open a window but when we did we got eaten by mosquitos. All in all I did not rest well here. Good staff, comfy bed. Pretty locale next to beach.

This is my second time staying at the Westminster and it is ALWAYS incredible. The views of the Mediterranean Sea are incredible, and the staff is ALWAYS so enjoyable! I was surprised to see that BOTH the glass of the elevator AND the window in the bar were BOTH still broken from last year. Overall, the quality of the amenities remained EXTREMELY high, the Spa requires reservations days in advance.

The room was not nice. Needs upgrading. The spa is a separate entity and could not use any facilities even pool or hot tub because they were booked. So complete waste as that is why I booked there.

We had a nice 1st floor sea view room. View was great but the street noise can be loud. Had a nice massage at the spa. Inside Bar overlooking the water is nice with huge plate glass windows. Small workout room with a few machines and 25lb and under weights. Friendly & helpful staff.

Westminster is right in front of the beaches of the promenades- convenient access to restaurants, shopping, tourism activity and even water leisure. Main issue I have is lack of access to the spa for family with children. We wanted to pay for access but children aren’t allowed. We don’t have anyone to drop our kids to hence we never got to enjoy the spa. Feeedback to the hotel management- most spa have specific dedicated time for kids to access- this would still maintain adult exclusivity at certain times. Denying couple with children is really poor in my opinion

Very large room and bathroom. Great view with a small terrace. The bellhop, bartenders, resturaunt staff and day staff were very nice. Walkable to shopping , resturaunts, and the beach. Wish the sauna was included with the gym - there is an extra charge and schedule to use it.

Overall excellent. Restaurant and bar (food) need work on gluten free understanding and options. Shower in our room needs a holder on the wall (difficult to shower holding it in your hand). View was spectacular, staff very friendly. Relationship with Spa is poor - separate business with odd rules - you need to book and pay to use the pool and sauna for example. Great location - best for sea view with minimal noise from aircraft (Nice airport is close by)

I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. The room's carpet was dirty, and the space was insufficient. Despite booking a large sea-view room with a balcony, the air conditioning was faulty and noisy. The staff's attitude was unfriendly and unhelpful. The breakfast options were limited and unimpressive. While the hotel's location is excellent, it's not enough to compensate for the lack of comfort and poor service. I would not recommend staying here.

From the time I made the reservation last week until the time I checked out this morning, it was the worst experience I’ve ever encountered in all my years staying in luxury hotels. The Hotels.com rep was very professional and actually tried to reconcile the problems and even he was treated rudely by the Westminster Hotel reservation manager, Jaclyn. Besides difficulties with the reservation, the smelled awful when I checked in, I asked for a room change, but instead sent some cleaning person to stick an “air deodorizer” in the room that did nothing. The room’s amenities were sub par as well and the bathroom/shower more like a Motel 6, again a disgraceful experience at the Westminster Hotel & Spa

Westminister is a classic hotel with historical beauty, great restaurant and breakfast, in an excellent location overlooking the sea. If only the rooms matched the lobby, stairs and parlor. The hotel will be much better when they renovate the rooms and replace the grey carpet, add art and brings the rooms up date - to the historical beauty of the hotel.

The Hotel Westminster is located on the picturesque Promenade Des Anglais. We booked a superior sea view room but I think they upgraded us to sea view deluxe when we got there as it was our 30 yr wedding anniversary. Wow wow wow. A big king size bed lead out to a long balcony with a table and two chairs which could be accessed by two sets of double doors. The view from this balcony was spectacular!!! We had croissants and coffee out there every morning and a glass of wine before bed every night. The staff was all friendly and helpful. The decor was a mix of traditional charm and modern flair…..and I can’t forget to mention the great location with easy access to the beach, patio restaurants and shopping. I would come back here in a heartbeat and I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Nice. Loved it! :)

The personal was horrible, the room had over 10 mosquitoes, the staff didn’t do anything to help, didn’t even follow up, and when i called downstairs the receptionist screamed on the phone, and lied to my face when i went downstairs. When i tried talking to them, he threatened me, saying “not sure where you are from but here in France things are different”, when trying to get his name, he refused to provide it and again threatened me and wanted to call the police. Don’t stay there!!

Hotel was absolutely stunning upon arrival. During check in their was only one person working who made it a bother to check us in, as she was chatting away with another guest. Entering the room was an entirely different scene. The room was disgusting and our dated. the view was a great sea view but that is all. Lifting up the sheet their were multiple hairs from someone else. disgusting. Fast forward we had two reservations and called ahead of time before arriving to have them combined. Vincent the “manager” was extremely over the situation and not accommodating at all. he told us our new room # directly across from the room we were staying in and would not give us an open room to move our luggage to consuming over half a day of back and forth. I have never been treated with such disrespect. the customer service is AWFUL.

What a beautiful beachfront hotel. Higher end hotel and spa. Front desk went above and beyond for our 35th Anniversary. Our view was amazing. We could not be more pleased with this hotel. Glad I didn’t skimp for this special occasion and the staff made the experience even better. Everyone was so helpful and kind to us. Stayed 5 days as our base in Nice and they gave us excellent advise for where to see the city and make day trips.

The hotel is on the main promenade and has a great view of the azure coastline. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They have a great terrace bar where you can eat, drink and watch the world go by in relaxed comfort. We loved Nice and will be returning and will stay again at the Westminster Hotel, when you find somewhere nice, you go back! Thanks.

It was right on the promenade which you can’t beat. So beautiful to look out and see the water and beaches and people walking, biking, running. Close to the beach clubs. We spent a few evenings on our balcony with wine and charcuterie, it was great! Breakfast at the hotel was excellent. Great selection and service.

Spa is sub par, too expensive for what is offered. The water is warm in a plastic pitcher. The tea is a weak, lukewarm, unidentifiable brew. Both containers just plunked on a shelf. Given a hand towel, cheap beach chairs and pitiful locker room. Have to pay extra for use of stem etc., even after an 240 Euro treatment. I’m used to beautiful and spacious spas with a quiet and lush environment, fresh tea and snacks, new robes and an inviting locker room for a lot less. Not worth the time. Treatments were rushed and mechanical. Only option for breakfast is buffet which is poorly done with expired juice and burned omelets. The bellman were great!

Beautiful beach front property in the heart of the promenade. Walking distance to old town and restaurants within 5-10 minutes in every direction. Train station 15 minute walk and bus stop 5 minute walk. Great breakfast, comfortable bed and very friendly staff. We would highly recommend for a stay in Nice. Good place to travel from on day trips along the French Rivera.
