Stunning hotel in the Latin quarter of Paris! Everything was great from check in to check out. The hotel is beautiful and everyone is friendly. The rooms have a fridge, stove top, coffee machine and more. There a gym and laundry for guests use as well which is great. The staff were all beyond friendly here. I would 100% stay here again if I come back to Paris!!

I stayed for 2 nights with my elderly mother in September 2025. Before you book, be aware that the common seating area/lobby will be packed with young people working on their laptops all day. During our stay, this was to the point where we could not find 2 seats to sit down together. When I inquired at the from desk why this was so (thinking there must be a business conference) I was asked was I not "aware of the Brand's culture?' I said I was not (my bad, I guess?) I was then informed that their "culture" is to open and encourage the use of the hotel's common spaces to all locals, including a nearby university, hence the reason for the packed seating area- a mix of students and work-at-home locals. While this could be considered a noble gesture by the "Brand", it was very inconvenient to us, as paying guest, during my two days stay as we could not enjoy the hotel's common areas (which seats plenty with a couple of large tables and several scattered smaller tables and chairs) as almost all, if not all seats were taken from early morning till early evening. When I asked to speak to the Hotel Manager, the Front Desk Manager, (furiously texting the entire time I was explaining my point of view that the hotel felt more like a high-end youth hostel than a 4-star hotel) informed me that the hotel manager was, alas, not available. Surprise, surprise. So I hope the hotel manager sees this written review, as promised.

Lovely hotel, perfect location and amazingly helpful staff. The city studio was a perfect room and the balcony overlooking the city was a highlight of our trip. Furthermore the bed was great. And the breakfast plus the drinks and snacks at the hotel café were great. As a last note the outside seating and the amazing gym were just icing on the cake. A perfect hotel for a vacation in paris.

An absolutely stunning hotel! We were only there for one night, but we really enjoyed our stay. It felt like an oasis in the city. I wish the bar was open later! We got there at 10:30 and it was closed so didnt get a chance to try it.

Convenient location. The hotel (actually more like service apartment than hotel) is pretty with nice dining room and cocktail bar. But it’s certainly over rated, the bathroom is very tiny, lighting in the room is dark. BYO a box of tissue and sleepers. During day time the cafe area is pack with young people and you will need to walk pass them in and out of the hotel room.

It's in a great location, just a short walk to the Pantheon, and 2 min walk to a metro stop. Our family room was spacious and clean. it even has a washer and dryer unit, although the washer was leaking so we only used it once. there were units in the laundry room in the basement you can use for free. The common and dining areas in the garden were hip and inviting. I'd deninitely stay here again.

Beautiful design, the gym was one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel, fantastic breakfast and coffee. Great dinner but they didn’t warn in advance that we couldn’t charge it to our room. Wonderful staff. Pricey restaurant. The bed creaked and the drain in the shower made noise occasionally. lighting wasn’t the best in the room. The room wasn’t tidied in 3 days that I stayed.

A very nice new hotel in a good location. For some unknown reason our room was never cleaned during our stay. Overall we liked the hotel, my one note is that in the restaurant there are literally hundreds of lights stay on all day, while the place has a glass roof and it’s very bright during the day. Seems so very wasteful and environmentally unfriendly..

I had a pleasant stay and I'm very grateful for Nadia's assistance. When I arrived, I was feeling quite unwell, and she promptly arranged a medical consultation for me. That was excellent service from her and the entire staff. The room was nice, although the bathroom was a bit small. Unfortunately, the kitchen utensils and sponge/towel were not clean, which was a downside. I would also suggest that cleaning service be made available after every 3 or 4 days of stay.

We had a family suite. The sliding doors fell off the wall which was not great. If they fell on our child it would have caused terrible damage. Bad health and safety issue. We reported to the front desk in the morning but it was not sorted out when we got back at 8pm. We could not use the room. Cleanliness of the rooms poor. Blood smeared in the bathroom. Reported it and not remedied.

(세 병 중 샴푸 둘, 바디워시 하나고, 첫날부터 바디워시가 안 채워져 부족하여 내가 가져간 세안제로 샤워함. 다음 날 채워줄 줄 알았지만 청소를 안 해줘서 다시 세안제로 샤워…) 화장실 청소하다 마무리가 안 된 건지 머리카락 뭉치가 흘려져있었음. 기본적인 청소 자체는 잘 되어있어 보였으나 꼼꼼한 마무리의 문제. 운영자는 세련된 감성으로 운영하려고 노력하는 것 같았지만 실질적인 청소 및 시설 운영이 좀 꼼꼼하게 일을 못하는 느낌이랄까.. 그럼에도 불구하고, 청결에 예민한 사람이지만, 파리 간다면 다시 가고 싶은 호텔!

Everything was spotless until I got into the shower and noticed a glob of long hair stuck to the shower wall. If you’re not on the side where the sun hits directly the rooms are dark and drab. Not sure whose idea was it to pain those rooms with dark warm floors but it doesn’t work. If you order food delivery they will not bring it to your room or allow the delv guy up.

How this hotel was granted four stars is a mystery for the ages. The only room amenities were coffee pods and teabags. No minibar, snacks, or even a bottle of water. The shower temperature was highly erratic, sometimes dangerously so when it would suddenly spike to scalding. More often it was lukewarm at best. While we know that Paris hotel rooms do tend to be small, there was barely room to walk between the wall and the far side of the bed and a similarly tiny distance between the end of the bed and the lone table—making night bathroom visits from that side rather precarious. The only flat space on which to place anything was that small table and ridiculous “nightstands” comprised of tiny semi-circular shelves less than a foot wide by about four inches at their deepest. In addition, the room was gloomily underlit and often drafty. Finally, rooms are only cleaned weekly; there are additional charges to have done more frequently. Due to the lack of standard housekeeping, we had to request additional toilet paper halfway through our stay—not something you expect to have to do at a “four-star” hotel!

Had the best stay at Le Jardin de Verre! The entire hotel is beautiful. We loved the family suite. So much room for a family of four. And the in-room washer/dryer was a great surprise! The location is excellent - tucked in a real Parisien neighborhood, super safe and quiet, with good restaurants and a cute plaza nearby. Still in easy walking distance to Louvre and Notre Dame. Highly recommend!

In general we enjoyed our stay. Good location, helpful staff, spacious room. But a few issues came up. First we were given a room on the lower lever. It was very dark-the only windows looked out into the public dining/lounge area so we had to keep the curtains closed. They were able to move us to a higher room the next day. The lighting in both rooms was very dim--only overhead spots, no reading lights. We overheard another patron complain about this as well. Finally, we found a sticker in the bathroom that said the water was not potable! How could a hotel room not have potable water? It was not until the next morning that we got information that this sticker applied only to the toilet and was for people who brought dogs that might drink from the toilet. But we were not told about this up front.

O hotel é bem localizado, ao lado a estação de trem Place Monge. Possui um carrefour city nas proximidades. O quarto é bom, a cama é confortável. Possuiu cafeteira nespresso, geladeira, microondas e fogão. O chuveiro possui controle de água fria e quente, porém a água quente fica desligando durante o banho, o que causa certa irritação com o fluxo aleatório de água fria. Não comprei o café da manhã pelo valor excessivo (25 euros por pessoa por dia). É possível deixar a bagagem na recepção até a hora do check-in. De modo geral, recomendo a estadia.

The room was a great size for Paris. We had a small couch and table as little kitchen area. The balcony doors were nice to open in the evenings. The hotel had a lovely court yard that we took advantage of. We found the desk staff to be wonderful. There was no daily room cleaning but it was easy to get items you needed by texting through the WhatsApp or dropping by the desk. We stayed for a week so we had one cleaning midway. The area was perfect for us. It was next to a beautiful park, Jardin des Plantes, and Arenes de Lutece (ancient Roman remains amphitheatre) and close to 2 metro stops. The area also felt very local and we even had some nights we sat outside with the locals and had drinks. We loved Vin and Whiskey, Les Petits Pois and OTTO all in close vicinity. If you are into French skincare products there was a pharmacy really near by. Our only 2 negatives would be the 3 steps down to get the elevator with luggage at the hotel but staff helped and the air conditioning wasn’t as good as we would have liked. We enjoy our room very cold. Overall the area was perfect for us.

Great location and decor - bar staff were fabulous. However a good few issues - missing early check in request, collapsed bed on check in, broken coffee machine (had to ask twice), the list goes on.  Most serious was the fact that the technician left our DOOR UNLOCKED after fixing coffee machine.  Response to complaints left me seriously underwhelmed. A real shame as overall the hotel was excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay here, but first impressions count and our initial experience was poor. First the good, the hotel is in a great area, less than 10 minutes to Rue Mouffetard with all it’s bistros, bars and shops and close to a couple metro stations to get further afield quickly. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were spacious by Paris standards, plus having a fridge and kitchenette was very handy. The bad…check in was awful. 4pm seems a late checkin anyway, and being so late means it gets very busy. We waited 20+ minutes to get a room key and our bags, not what was needed after a 3am start and a day sightseeing. Also our initial experience at the cafe/restaurant was poor with very slow, and quite rude, service. We didn’t use it again after that and to be honest there’s far better value on the doorstep anyway.

The hotel is gorgeous and convenient to the metro. We stayed for 7 days over Christmas. However, there were some unfortunate problems with our room. First and worst, the shower only went to SCALDING hot or cold. We brought this to the attention of maintenance, but it was never fixed. Second, the bedroom floor weren't well vacuumed. I found several clumps of hair on the ground and the hemp mat under the bed shed badly. They're difficult to clean as it is, so don't look too closely. Third, Bibie charged us a "tourist tax" - requesting a tip after dinner. Finally, upon reservation we had asked it was possible to push the two Twin beds we'd reserved together to make a King. Along with the appropriate topper and sheets, since we were husband and wife and no traditional king room was available. The hotel graciously agreed, but our room was not set up this way upon check-in. I asked about this at check-in and the hostess seemed confused and didn't find any mention of this request in our file. It wasn't a huge deal, but for the premium price we paid, we were disappointed at these service flaws.

The Locke in Paris was a wonderful stay! My room and the grounds were all beautiful and in great shape. The service by the front desk team- Ismail and Diarrha in specific- was fantastic. They both provided suggestions on how to spend my quick trip in Paris and were incredibly kind. I can’t wait to stay at more Locke properties in the future.

This hotel was SUPERB. Beautiful, cozy, lots of places for sitting and gathering. The downstairs cafe was perfect. Staff could not have been more kind and helpful (especially Gonsalo). The room was comfortable and clean. Location in the Latin Quarter was perfect.

The reception was excellent, room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed (kitchenette, washer/dryer and dishwasher-they provide detergents and coffee/tea for your entire stay The hotel is lovely and set in a great location next to one of the beautiful park areas (with gardens, museums and a zoo), very easy to get to the nearby Metro and bus stops-and short walks to Luxembourg garden and Notre Dame. Great restaurant inside the hotel as well as nearby-a lovely stay for our trip to Paris!

When I first booked the hotel, I was hesitant. Looking at the location on a map it seemed a bit out of the way and not so close to places we wanted to visit while in Paris. But I hade stayed at another Locke Hotel in Dublin last year and I loved it. So we decided to stay here. In the end, the location was great. Close to the metro, a short cab ride to main attractions like Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, etc. and right near a main street with plenty of bars, and cafes, and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was SUPERB. Beautiful, cozy, lots of places for sitting and gathering. The downstairs cafe was perfect. Staff could not have been more kind and helpful (especially Gonsalo). The room was comfortable and clean. Location in the Latin Quarter was perfect.

Funky design and new but with a few issues. One Bedroom open plan- furniture too big for space leaving minimal space for suitcases to be accessed. Door opens right onto table & chairs and you need to shuffle around this to enter room. Shower head pressure is terrible- did ask for someone to check it- never heard back from anyone so not sure? Hand held pressure was sufficient to rinse shampoo but a pain. They allow non guests to come in & use back common areas for working spaces. They are supposed to purchase from bar/restaurant but we stated 7 nts and saw same people daily all day. Consequently they use the toilets etc. one 2 separate occasions I used these bathrooms - (there are 5 unisex toilets) and there was no toilet paper in 4, & hand soap empty in 2 of the 3.some days there are up to 15 people there working on laptops and it does feel weird walking through here to get to the lifts to all of the rooms. These are also the main bathrooms for the bar and inside dining areas. Check in time is pretty much 4 pm which is getting rather late in the day when check out is 11 am. We asked for a 4 pm check out and they wanted a full days charge! We opted for the additional 2hrs at 40 euros. Breakfast is pretty much continental with cold meats, cheeses etc breads & pastries, barista coffees and hot option of pre cooked scrambled egg , baked beans & hard bacon. No cook to order avail and cost us 25 euros if you pay before check in and 28 euro pp if you take daily.

We really enjoyed our stay here, but first impressions count and our initial experience was poor. First the good, the hotel is in a great area, less than 10 minutes to Rue Mouffetard with all it’s bistros, bars and shops and close to a couple metro stations to get further afield quickly. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were spacious by Paris standards, plus having a fridge and kitchenette was very handy. The bad…check in was awful. 4pm seems a late checkin anyway, and being so late means it gets very busy. We waited 20+ minutes to get a room key and our bags, not what was needed after a 3am start and a day sightseeing. Also our initial experience at the cafe/restaurant was poor with very slow, and quite rude, service. We didn’t use it again after that and to be honest there’s far better value on the doorstep anyway.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. There is a very nice courtyard restaurant as you walk in thaf was the perfect place for happy hour and also a night cap as we ended our day. Great wait staff, especially Lucy!!

Excellent hotel extremely close to family who live a two minute walk from the hotel. The hotel’s communal areas were plenty and varied. We ate lunch at the restaurant which was delicious and enjoyed cocktails in the very beautiful courtyard on our first night only as understandably that area was always very busy and sought after. Enjoyed thoroughly.

The hotel is tastefully designed, with spacious common areas that make it unique among similarly sized hotels in Paris. Innovative glass roofing solutions don't compromise the hotel's beautiful, historic architectural style. A good restaurant and a hearty breakfast are also available. The staff were very friendly.

O hotel é bem localizado, ao lado a estação de trem Place Monge. Possui um carrefour city nas proximidades. O quarto é bom, a cama é confortável. Possuiu cafeteira nespresso, geladeira, microondas e fogão. O chuveiro possui controle de água fria e quente, porém a água quente fica desligando durante o banho, o que causa certa irritação com o fluxo aleatório de água fria. Não comprei o café da manhã pelo valor excessivo (25 euros por pessoa por dia). É possível deixar a bagagem na recepção até a hora do check-in. De modo geral, recomendo a estadia.

Such a beautiful property and room! A little small by American standards, but still plenty of space. We had a nearly full kitchen which we did not use, but the room is modern and the AC ran great! The service at the restaurant/bar was second to none. I find service in Europe in general isn't quite as "proactive", but here everyone was attentive and friendly. We had an amazing server that helped us work through the wine list, and the food was amazing. plenty of spaces to remote work, and reception was nice as well. 10/10 will come again!

Had a great stay here. Enjoyed 2 meals in the hotel - best fillet steak ever, so good we had it twice on successive evenings! The public areas are particularly impressive. Our room was compact but had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and revisit!

Beautiful design, the gym was one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel, fantastic breakfast and coffee. Great dinner but they didn’t warn in advance that we couldn’t charge it to our room. Wonderful staff. Pricey restaurant. The bed creaked and the drain in the shower made noise occasionally. lighting wasn’t the best in the room. The room wasn’t tidied in 3 days that I stayed.
