Little Lob Lolly of Point Clear located in our barn across from our stalls

Not very comfortable. Not extremely clean. Furniture is not updated. A hotel would have been a much better option. Nice owner.

Property was out in the country!! Our neighbors were three well behaved horses! Never made a sound. Very friendly. Apt was clean! Exactly what we needed when we visited! Very close to downtown Fairhope, Grand Hotel and Beaches! Conveniently located for traveling to The Gulf of America! About an half hour away! Owner was very nice and accommodating! Offering her number if we needed anything! Our stay was exactly one week!! Would do it again!

Never stayed in a horse barn before and we loved it. The room was clean, interesting and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed the farm setting and quiet space. The horses were great neighbors too. We will definitely come back.

Mid-way between I-65 and the beaches of Orange and Gulf Shores, this part-converted barn studio is compact, clean, well-run, and good value, while Fairhope is a pretty little town with a range of dining options - don't tell everyone!

We thought the property was beautiful. Checked in on Feb 17-20. Immediately upon arriving at the barn apt, we both saw a small, black rodent run across the one room and into closet. Talked with the “premier host” and she said her husband would come over and put out traps. She admitted the door had been left open for several hours to replace door threshold, and said she had pest control 4 times a year. Not enough in a barn apt with horses in stalls eating their feed and hay four feet from your door. 3 days later discovered an expensive jacket of mine with large holes chewed in it, which had been hanging in closet. After discussions with her and VRBO, she says there was no rodent and no evidence of one. I’ve never been called a liar before. We took good care of her barn apt and left no damages. She refuses to reimburse me for damage done to my jacket. Denies everything. Just beware if booking here, never again for us.

Quiet, comfy and we love the beautiful horses

Pretty location, missing info on how to control the heat and AC. Outside light was not working and needed a flashlight to access the door lock in the dark. TV did not receive a signal from Direct TV so that was not working. Had hot water and comfortable room for us and our Minature Schnauzer puppy, which touch noses with the resident pony, Marco, was very happy.

Stay was super easy and convenient for getting around to all the sights and shops in the area. If looking for a cozy and quiet stay in the Point Clear/Fairhope/Daphne area, this would be great for a couple or individual.

A very simple nice room with a hathroom coffee maker microwave and freezer fridge mini. It had everything we needednas we werw visiting family in Fairhope. The horse made it fun for us and we enjoyed it being rural! Host was super nice! We will be back!

Small simple room that we just needed for one night but you are right outside the stalls from the horses and I absolutely LOVED this, the property and everything is a complete dream of mine. Checking in was easy and Mary Louise was quick to reply and helpful. The property is also close to a Publix and just minutes from the Grand and Fairhope. Would love to visit again.

Don't stay here if you want fancy. This is an efficiency apartment size unit converted from an art studio in a working horse barn. The charm is in its quiet countryside setting. This is not for everyone but I found it delightful.

This was only my second stay using Vrbo. There was some sort of issue with my reservation on the Vrbo administrative side of things which Ms. Mary Louise got the ball rolling to get things straightened out prior to my arrival. We remained in contact til everything was taken care of. Her help was above and beyond which was greatly appreciated. This place is perfect for one or two people especially if you are looking for a rural setting that is quiet and not too far away from the city. I highly recommend staying here if in the area and hope to be able to return for a weekend getaway soon. Eric

I absolutely love this place! I stayed in March for my birthday and brought my granddaughter back for hers in June. Now my 10yr old grandson “wants his turn with the horses” and wants to go for his birthday in September. The room is perfect for two people. Quiet, quaint. To wake up early to go sit outside with your coffee and open your door, and the horses are in their stalls waiting on you is so beautiful. Fairhope is less than five minutes away. So many shops! The people are so friendly. Beautiful countryside. We spent the day in Gulf Shores, less than an hour away. The main restaurants we tried this time was Locals, Julwins and The Wash House. All were very very good. The hosts are such sweet people. MaryLouise is super nice and is quick to answer you back when you text or email her. I will definitely be back.

Enjoyed our stay very much. We had family staying at the Grand Hotel just up the road so it was very convenient when meeting up with them on this trip. Loved seeing the horses every day. We’d definitely stay here again!
