love the location of the property within walking distance from the attractions plus the bus stop and parking area is within few steps from the hotel..it is in the busy area so you have to park in front of the hotel for few minutes to unload your bags.The breakfast is a typical italian breakfast their coffee is so good..

Stayed two nights and wanted a place in the center of the old city. The Minerva setting was perfect. Easy to walk to sights and restaurants. Wonderful service. Excellent breakfast with friendly service. Accommodating of our dietary requests. Room had a great panoramic view with shutters and windows that opened and closed easily and securely. Even had screens to keep out pests. Elevator building. Only issue was that our bathroom was quite small and the shower was a tight fit. All else was good.

Hotel in pieno centro comodo e vicino alla basilica, personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Camera piccola e dignitosa, bruttina la vista sul muro, meglio prenotare una camera con vista migliore. Bagno essenziale, unica cosa la spugna nella doccia era abbastanza consumata. Cuscino scomodissimo (personalmente parlando). Nel complesso e per il prezzo pagato va bene. Well, all I can share is, that it’s the best place I’ve been so far in Italy, considering I’m on a budget. Super friendly staff and excellent and clean place. Love the old fashioned mixed with the modern appliances. Incredible view, delicious breakfast and lunch. Now considering this is a very touristic place prices are quite high in most restaurants. I had my most expensive dinner so far around 100 euros in another restaurant in town. Now it’s a very crammed city because it’s so old, so don’t try to drive on it if you have a medium size car, it’s a challenge. Just park in the parking lot at the entrance of the city and enjoy the exercise, lots of walking uphill and downhill. Lots of things to see in the small city. I can’t say it enough, it’s beautiful.

The gentleman who checked us in at the front desk was very helpful and kind! He helped us find a place to eat dinner being that we arrived around around 8pm (which is late for Assisi). We returned to our hotel which was cool, clean, and dark, and made for a good night’s sleep. I woke up to go to 9am Mass, while my family stayed in bed to catch up on sleep. They said that while I was gone a cleaning lady burst into the room (before 10am checkout time) and began screaming at them to get out of bed and that it was time to leave. Next the phone rang with another lady yelling that they needed to get out of the room. However, when I arrived shortly after 10 to hear this story, I spoke to the lady downstairs who was very kind and understanding and allowed us a late checkout at 10:30am.

Hotel Minerva is a gorgeous historical albergo. The desk staff are so helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and such a spacious bathroom. However the beds were as hard as rock platforms and the pillows flat and uncomfortable. We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the delicious croissants.

Pietro at reception was warm, courteous and so helpful. The room had a beautiful view over the valley. The hotel was steps away from the San Francesco church which was wonderful as I attended early morning prayers. If you like a cold breakfast, the cereal selection was incredible with fresh nuts, chia seed, and a delightful granola mix….served with a fresh yogurt. Lovely, sweet hotel - conveniently located. Warm & friendly.

It was an average room with no Internet, we had to go downstairs to use it. The staff was somewhat friendly in the beginning but that changed pretty quickly once we asked about the Internet not working. On a positive note the location was great.

The hotel is absolutely lovely in the heart of Assisi, breakfast was lovely, our air conditioning was not working but the receptionist was very helpful and sorted it immediately. Will definitely stay there again when back in Assisi

A very good choice in a location that's like a stage setting for an opera and is within a short uphill walk to the Basilica. The only drawback is that everything is uphill in both directions and there is a real lack of good restaurants within a short walk. The staff very friendly and accommodating.

Hotel Minerva offers very good value for money. It is clean, comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Assisi is not large so most hotels in the centre are walkable to the main sites. Hotel Minerva is very close to the Cathedral - just a few minutes away. The staff were very helpful & friendly. We would definitely stay there again and therefore highly recommend

Nice hotel. Assisi is beautiful and so spiritual! Great breakfast. All rooms in the ancient city are slightly dated. Close to good restaurants. Very difficult to drive there! Hills are very steep and hard for seniors. I brought my walking sticks but still difficult. Worth it though.
