Very nice stuff in the reception. Room OK, view good, pool area good. All good, except for the girl at the bar thursday Oct. 2. She played crappy music - too loud. The clients around were aged between 65 and 75, and the noisy music were meant for people the same as the waitresses, and when people complained about it she got mad, telling (twice) "this is a bar" So. She played music for herself, not thinking/minding about the people sitting there. BAD!

First, the good points: The hotel is spotlessly clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the staff at reception were very helpful. The bustling centre of town is about 20 minutes walk away along a beautiful promenade. The paid car parking at the hotel was invaluable, as parking in town is a nightmare. We didn't try the pool, but it looked lovely. Then the not so good points: The breakfast was very limited, the same each day, scrambled eggs and bacon the only hot options, plus slices of processed cheese and meat. We were B&B, so did not try the evening meal. The huge disappointment was our room (119). We had booked a Triple room with sea/pool view, but the view from our balcony was nothing like the beautiful photos on the Expedia website, The sea view was partial at best, the main view from 119 was the flat roof of the restaurant immediately below our balcony, the side of the adjacent balcony, (making it mainly in shade) and also into the rooms of the adjacent hotel. There was loud partying from here each night until 12:30am. As our room was above the kitchen, there was a sound of cooking before breakfast and dinner. The extractor fan pumped out onto our balcony, and condensation dripped onto shoes left out there. Luckily no harm done. We asked to be moved to a room on a higher floor, but the hotel was fully booked. Final point, whilst the room was spacious, everything was open to view, plenty of hanging space, but not a drawer anywhere. Such a disappointing hotel.

Room and breakfast are pretty basic (fair 2 or 3 stars), but everything else was very good: the hotel is located at a walking distance of the old town and also a walking distance (but on opposite direction) of Pia Maria beach (there is also a beach in front of the hotel). Very clean and well maintained pool, good bar service at the pool, excellent front desk service (very nice people), clean room and the shower room near the fitness room allowed us to stay at the beach until the afternoon in the last day of our stay (they let us keep the blue pool towels and the room white towels many hours after the check out in the last day, in order for us to use them all day)

Kein Tranfer von Olbia zum Hotel vorhanden. Zudem kurzfristig kein Parkplatz buchbar. Ansonsten top und jederzeit wieder! Sehr freundlich und sauber. Die Stadt von Alghero zu Fuss erreichbar.

Amazing place to stay. Lovely breakfast, great pool and stunning views of the beach and beyond. Room was great for 2 adults and 1 child, very clean and a good amount of storage and had a nice balcony. Comfy beds. Lots of sunbeds by the pool amd kept clean.

Great budget hotel. Stayed in a single person room. It was simple without anything fancy. But, it also still came with a big balcony with an ocean view! Hotel included breakfast. The pool was nice, albeit cold! Pool closed for the evening at 7pm. Very nice location near the beach and walking distance to the old town. Also pretty quite.

This was an average stay for us. There was no water at reception and there were extra charges for towels and parking. There were no facilities to make drinks in the room. We have received a more attentive service from similar hotels. Given we were there for 7 nights, staff made no effort to engage. There was a limited selection for breakfast and we felt the quality of items was average. The selection of bar food was also poor. The positives were the location of the hotel (opposite a beach and only 20/30 minutes flat walk to the old town) and the pool area which was kept very clean. The public areas including the breakfast room lacked good air conditioning, they were always warm and stuffy. Nice hotel, great pool, very attentive staff. Pool and grounds really well kept and very tidy. Staff at breakfast were great, we didn’t eat in the hotel apart from breakfast so can’t comment otherwise. Short, 10-15 mins, lovely walk along the promenade into Alghero We had a late flight out on the day we checked out and they had showers we could use after a day at the pool, which was brilliant. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Ett supert beliggende hotell. Nærhet til alt. Superhyggelig betjening overalt. Det var skinnende rent og godt vedlikeholdt selv om hotellet ikke er av nyere dato. Vi hadde rom med sjøutsikt og det var aldeles perfekt. God frokost med godt utvalg. Sengene var litt harde, mwn ellers så er dette hotellet absolutt å anbefale

Vi havde 3 overnatninger i maj 2023, på hotel Florida i dobbeltværelse med udsigt. Vi havde nogle rigtig dejlige dage Værelser og badeværelse var fint, altanen god og udsigten skøn. Sengen var lidt hård, men det passede os godt. Poolen havde en god størrelse, og poolområdet, som blev passet omhyggeligt, indbød til hygge, afslapning og en kold drik eller to. Morgenmad var fin. Hotellet fremstår flot og meget rent og pænt. Personalet var alle søde, smilende og imødekommende. Hotellet ligger blot en lille gå-tur fra byen (ca 12 min slentren), og turen kan tages af den flotte strand promenade. Vi kommer rigtig gerne igen.

Wir haben eine wundervolle Zeit im Hotel Florida verbracht. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen, das gesamte Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer, Badezimmer, der Pool und die gesamte Anlage waren in einem ausgezeichnet sauberen Zustand – man hat sich rundum wohlgefühlt. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchte ich das Frühstück: für italienische Verhältnisse wirklich außergewöhnlich vielfältig! Neben Aufschnitt gab es Joghurt, Cornflakes, verschiedene Brotsorten, Rührei und vieles mehr – für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei. Die Lage ist perfekt: super zentral und gleichzeitig direkt am Strand gelegen. Besser könnte man es sich für einen Urlaub kaum wünschen. Wir kommen mit tollen Erinnerungen zurück und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

This is a Gem of a hotel and a pleasant walk from Old Town (about 20 mins). Staff are lovely and friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is plentiful with a good selection at the buffet. Hotel is spotless and gardens, pool and communal areas are so well tended. We will definitely return.

The clients around were aged between 65 and 75, and the noisy music were meant for people the same as the waitresses, and when people complained about it she got mad, telling (twice) "this is a bar" So. Brilliant balcony with sea view. Night times were either stuffy and hot with the doors shut or noisy with the doors open. AC was provided which was noisy to run and gave off a musty sort of smell. We also had issues with insect bites. The pool was just a little on the cold side. It would be extremely useful for the hotel to have its own airport pick up service that was reliable. We ordered transport through the hotel but were just sent a message by the taxi driver to wait in the queue with everyone else. The beachside cocktail bars were amazing.

Vi havde 3 overnatninger i maj 2023, på hotel Florida i dobbeltværelse med udsigt. Vi havde nogle rigtig dejlige dage Værelser og badeværelse var fint, altanen god og udsigten skøn. First, the good points: The hotel is spotlessly clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the staff at reception were very helpful. The bustling centre of town is about 20 minutes walk away along a beautiful promenade. The paid car parking at the hotel was invaluable, as parking in town is a nightmare. We didn't try the pool, but it looked lovely. Then the not so good points: The breakfast was very limited, the same each day, scrambled eggs and bacon the only hot options, plus slices of processed cheese and meat. We were B&B, so did not try the evening meal. The huge disappointment was our room (119). We had booked a Triple room with sea/pool view, but the view from our balcony was nothing like the beautiful photos on the Expedia website, The sea view was partial at best, the main view from 119 was the flat roof of the restaurant immediately below our balcony, the side of the adjacent balcony, (making it mainly in shade) and also into the rooms of the adjacent hotel. There was loud partying from here each night until 12:30am. As our room was above the kitchen, there was a sound of cooking before breakfast and dinner. The extractor fan pumped out onto our balcony, and condensation dripped onto shoes left out there. Luckily no harm done. We asked to be moved to a room on a higher floor, but the hotel was fully booked. Final point, whilst the room was spacious, everything was open to view, plenty of hanging space, but not a drawer anywhere. Such a disappointing hotel.

Room and breakfast are pretty basic (fair 2 or 3 stars), but everything else was very good: the hotel is located at a walking distance of the old town and also a walking distance (but on opposite direction) of Pia Maria beach (there is also a beach in front of the hotel). Very clean and well maintained pool, good bar service at the pool, excellent front desk service (very nice people), clean room and the shower room near the fitness room allowed us to stay at the beach until the afternoon in the last day of our stay (they let us keep the blue pool towels and the room white towels many hours after the check out in the last day, in order for us to use them all day)

Amazing place to stay. Lovely breakfast, great pool and stunning views of the beach and beyond. Room was great for 2 adults and 1 child, very clean and a good amount of storage and had a nice balcony. Comfy beds. Lots of sunbeds by the pool amd kept clean.

Great budget hotel. Stayed in a single person room. It was simple without anything fancy. But, it also still came with a big balcony with an ocean view! Hotel included breakfast. The pool was nice, albeit cold! Pool closed for the evening at 7pm. Very nice location near the beach and walking distance to the old town. Also pretty quite.

Our room was small but adequate. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff worked very hard to keep tables clean and to make sure all of the breakfast items were available. We swam at the beach across the street so did not use the pool, but it looked inviting.

This was an average stay for us. There was no water at reception and there were extra charges for towels and parking. There were no facilities to make drinks in the room. We have received a more attentive service from similar hotels. Given we were there for 7 nights, staff made no effort to engage. Die Lage ist perfekt: super zentral und gleichzeitig direkt am Strand gelegen. Besser könnte man es sich für einen Urlaub kaum wünschen. We were very disappointed with this Hotel. We arrived just after midnight on a late flight and there was not even any complimentary water or snacks in the room. You would need to purchase this from the bar. The mini fridge was empty, no kettle provided. Asked for an iron and was told they don't provide irons and would need to ask laundry service in the morning and pay a charge which is billed to your room. Nothing to hang your wet clothes on the balcony. Considering the beach is so close you would think they would have a drying rack for wet clothes. The TV was a small 20-22". Bathroom was very small. There were no maps and no tourist information. The taxi to the airport costs you over 40€ (10 min drive) when there is no traffic. Flight was early in the morning and was told they would prepare a cold breakfast packed which we could collect night before. Thought that was kind of them. But, when we went to reception was told there is nothing the person responsible must have forgotten. Wow amazing customer service they forgot!! The gentleman at reception in the morning was kind enough to give us bottled water and orange juice. Breakfast was the only positive about this hotel. The hot tubs we were told only had cold water. Interior decor could do with an upgrade. Rating 1 star and that's for the breakfast only. Very dissatisfied.

This is a Gem of a hotel and a pleasant walk from Old Town (about 20 mins). Staff are lovely and friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is plentiful with a good selection at the buffet. Hotel is spotless and gardens, pool and communal areas are so well tended. We will definitely return.

Perfekt läge vid Lido-stranden. Trevlig personal i reception, bar, städ och poolvakten. Tyvärr har frukostpersonalen inte ha samma positiva attityd i alla fall mot utlänningar då vi behandlades annorlunda. Bra med solstolar runt poolen om än lite obekväma men positivt att de lånar ut parasoll om man vill gå ner till stranden. Fint att de har dusch och omklädningsmöjligheter för de blir kvar en stund efter utcheckningstiden som är kl 10.

Great place to stay in Alghero, in front of the beach, very nice pool area and the staff was super helpful all the time. The location is also a great plus, 10 min walking to the beautiful historic center and plenty of restaurants nearby. We went with our 2 little kids and they loved it.

Nice hotel, great pool, very attentive staff. Pool and grounds really well kept and very tidy. Staff at breakfast were great, we didn’t eat in the hotel apart from breakfast so can’t comment otherwise. Short, 10-15 mins, lovely walk along the promenade into Alghero We had a late flight out on the day we checked out and they had showers we could use after a day at the pool, which was brilliant. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.

First, the good points: The hotel is spotlessly clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the staff at reception were very helpful. The bustling centre of town is about 20 minutes walk away along a beautiful promenade. The paid car parking at the hotel was invaluable, as parking in town is a nightmare. We didn't try the pool, but it looked lovely. Then the not so good points: The breakfast was very limited, the same each day, scrambled eggs and bacon the only hot options, plus slices of processed cheese and meat. We were B&B, so did not try the evening meal. The huge disappointment was our room (119). We had booked a Triple room with sea/pool view, but the view from our balcony was nothing like the beautiful photos on the Expedia website, The sea view was partial at best, the main view from 119 was the flat roof of the restaurant immediately below our balcony, the side of the adjacent balcony, (making it mainly in shade) and also into the rooms of the adjacent hotel. There was loud partying from here each night until 12:30am. As our room was above the kitchen, there was a sound of cooking before breakfast and dinner. The extractor fan pumped out onto our balcony, and condensation dripped onto shoes left out there. Luckily no harm done. We asked to be moved to a room on a higher floor, but the hotel was fully booked. Final point, whilst the room was spacious, everything was open to view, plenty of hanging space, but not a drawer anywhere. Such a disappointing hotel.

This is a Gem of a hotel and a pleasant walk from Old Town (about 20 mins). Staff are lovely and friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is plentiful with a good selection at the buffet. Hotel is spotless and gardens, pool and communal areas are so well tended. We will definitely return.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen! Wir hatten Meerblick gebucht, haben aber auf das Pool und die Bäume geblickt . Nettes Personal! Das Frühstück war jeden Tag gleich! Kaffeemaschine hat auch nicht immer funktioniert. Es war trotzdem sehr schön!

Our room was small but adequate. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff worked very hard to keep tables clean and to make sure all of the breakfast items were available. We swam at the beach across the street so did not use the pool, but it looked inviting.

Second time staying at Hotel Florida. Had a really positive experience last time, but didn’t find it as good this time. When we arrived there was no parking and they advised we should have booked in advance but didn’t say that anywhere on the booking, it was listed as parking available for a cost. Had to park a walk away. They only provided water the first night, then we had to pay. They also charge you to use pool towels.
