Wedgewood is the ONLY place we stay in Vancouver. Everything is walkable and convenient from the location. The hotel lobby bar/restaurant is the best in the entire city as well.

Restaurant is so cozy and one of my favourite places to hangout. Food is amazing, service from the front door, guest services and restaurant is top notch. Valet parking and check in is instant! No waiting or long walks.

Its my go to boutique hotel in Vancouver when I visit. I love the staff and the ambiance. The rooms are tasteful and cosy. The corner tub is luxury. The shampoo and conditioners are lovely. The steam room is a great way to unwind after a long day. But by far the staff make it shine. They are so nice and welcoming. Lovely.

The hotel is conveniently located in Vancouver downtown. A quick 8 mins drive to the Canada Place, a great place for evening stroll after dinner. If you are visiting Vancouver for the first time, I will definitely recommend the sunset here. The hotel stay was uneventful. Checkin was smooth and I took the Valet option for parking as there is no self parking available for long term.

Beautiful hotel and couldn't recommend enough. Room was beautiful and the service was excellent across the board. This was the last night of our 2 week trip so we booked a room with a bath tub so we could relax, and also booked in a massage at the spa which was amazing. We ate at the restaurant too which was incredible - the starters in particular were a highlight.

Clean, comfortable and spacious room with warm decor that made for a relaxing and welcoming environment. Thanks for the extra attention paid to our puppy...she loves the Wedgewood. The Bacchus Restaurant is a favourite...again, warm and welcoming with superior cuisine. Above all, the staff went above and beyond to make our visit special. Spending time at the Wedgewood is like a big hug for the whole family...pet included!!! :)

The staff are amazing, but the room was not clean when we first entered. There was hair on one bed and some on the bathroom floors. I called the front desk the manager was very apologetic, sent room service to change the sheets and cleaned the bathroom floor. He even sent a small box of chocolate with an apology card. My issue with this hotel is the room has this mold smell the entire time that you’re in. The Concierge was outstanding, he was very helpful in finding us activities that exactly fits our needs. This The bedding is below average for 5 star hotel The price is for the location and service nothing else.

We stayed two different nights in two different room types due to our travel plans in Canada, and our favorite by far was the Deluxe King Suite. The suite was spacious and had everything you could possibly need—two separate bathrooms, a living room area separate from the bedroom, a small kitchen, a bathtub, plenty of closet space, and an overall beautiful rustic design. Our first night was in a Queen Bed room, which was naturally smaller and more basic, but still felt luxurious and comfortable. Regardless of the room, the staff was incredibly welcoming—from valet parking to the front desk. We also tried the restaurant for breakfast, which was delicious and a great way to start the day. I would especially recommend the Deluxe King Suite if you plan to spend time in the hotel, as we did after our road trip—it really felt worth the price. If you only need a place to sleep, the simpler rooms are still an excellent option. The hotel also offers spa treatments, which we didn’t get to try but sounded wonderful. The location is very convenient, right next to the Gallery of Art, and Vancouver itself is so walkable and beautiful. Overall, a fantastic stay—we’ll definitely be coming back!

Mostly ok, was disturbed several times with unnecessary door knocks. Was reported to hotel front desk. Room wasn’t ready at check in. Terrible view of an alley way from my room. Would probably not stay here again. Preferred the facilities and rooms at the Sutton place hotel Across the road. Staff were mostly good and front desk welcoming.

This used to be one of the nicest hotels in Vancouver, but it has gone downhill and not been upgraded. The rooms are dated with cheap equipment. Everything needs to be upgraded - from the light fixtures to the toilet seats, hairdryer, kettle and plug points (of which there are none near the bed for charging). They also didn't give us a quilt until we asked for one, even though it was cold.

Stayed 2 different nights at this hotels because we were doing a little road trip to Banff, so I got to experience 2 different rooms, the deluxe king is obviously the best and would tat here with this room again, big space, 2 restrooms, a bathtub, small kitchen area, balcony, living room separate from the room. The hotel is in a great location for downtown with everything walkable. The rooms feel a bit dated but are very comfortable. We had a room at the rear of hotel so the view was drab and the alleyway was noisy first thing in the morning. The staff are lovely and all very helpful. It’s not cheap and we have an issue at paying over CA$500 a night and getting no breakfast with it but that seems to be the way these days.

From the moment we walked in the front door we were treated like family. Ryan at the front desk was kind, efficient and knowledgeable. He had our room issued immediately even though we were early for check in and expected a wait. My husband had an injured arm and needed ice. Ryan had it sent up right away and it was replenished throughout our stay without us having to ask. It was a real pleasure to stay at the Wedgewood and we will be back soon!

Wonderful, worth every penny. The amazing professional and attentive team were proactive and stopped at nothing to make our stay smooth and luxurious. The basics were covered brilliantly with a clean and well appointed peaceful room with excellent new beds and indulgent bedding. We also enjoyed cocktails and food in the lounge bar which were perfectly executed. From welcome at kerbside, to early check in to a brilliant concierge service from Melvin, everything went as you’d hope for from the best. This is how a hotel should be. Now I’ve stayed here once I wouldn’t consider any other Vancouver hotel for future trips here. Well done to everyone on the team, perfect job.

Boutique feel was so welcoming. Staff at front desk friendly and accommodating - we especially got to know Andrew and David who were tops. The concierge Melvin was by far the most accommodating and competent we’ve ever encountered over decades of frequent travels. Loved the atmosphere and the food at the small restaurant. We will be recommending this hotel to all we know and would choose this anytime we travel this way. It was what a stay should always strive to be - very very memorable!! Chuck and Julie McNellis

surprisingly terrible stay. rooms are nice, but service is weird. We stayed at Wedgewood during the last push of a home reno. this meant long days working at our house and returning to WW for sleep. they lock the entrance in the evening and guests need to buzz to gain access. after a long day, i returned at 1am to a locked door. i buzzed and knocked. the night clerk saw me and went to the back room. he then came to the counter and shuffled papers. i buzzed again. he held up a finger to say just a minute and then returned to the back room. eventually he let me in. i was standing in the rain waiting while he shuffled papers. no other customers at 1am. no explanation. i felt extremely disrespected. in addition, while we were out, it appears maintenance was in our room (no one called them - no issues reported) because someone left a pair of pliers next to our personal items on the bathroom counter along with pieces of the sink. i have no explanation for this one. the fact that housekeeping didn’t replenish the coffee and i had to call in the morning seemed minor to sharing our bathroom with the handyman. so, overall, kinda creepy and perplexing.

WE loved everything about this place...beautiful lobby, Michelin Star restaurant, comfy rooms with many amenities, lovely spa with great treatments and fantastic location. We loved every staff member and were treated so well the entire stay. HIGHLY recommend this gem. We will be back.
