Very much enjoyed our stay. Roof top bar at sunset was great, garden relaxing, breakfast good, staff friendly, and the v cold pool refreshing, if I kept my swims to 30 mins... longer swims meant warming up in a hot shower straight afterwards 🙂.

The hotel is very luxurious. The staff extremely friendly and accomodating. The breakfast room and buffet offerings outstanding. The rooftop Martini Bar is incredible. The gardens are spectacular. Laura, at the desk was warm, friendly and a great help to us generally and especially attentive when arranging transportation for us. All of the breakfast room attendents were very friendly and helpful, smiling and cordial. The location is grest and view from our balcony just amazing. A wonderfiul stay at this beautiful hotel!

The property is beautiful, with a grand garden, great pool with a number of tanning beds, poolside service and a rooftop bar overlooking Mt. Vesuvius and the ocean on the other side. Location is great it’s about a 25 minute walk to the center or Sorrento. It’s just enough out of the way where it feels peaceful but still accessible and the walk goes fast as there’s so much to see. Staff is AMAZING, very helpful, personable and kind. As for the rooms, the beds are slightly harder, but the rooms are gorgeous and the balcony was a great touch. They give you just about everything you’d need to stay, expect a robe. Overall, 10/10 , will be staying here again on my next trip to Sorrento.

The Majestic hotel in Sorrento was absolutely fabulous. Close to Marinella beach, a few restaurants right on the same street which were fantastic. The hotel staff were great. We spent a day at the pool which was beautiful with trees and soft music. The Roof top lounge was also fabulous. I would definately stay here again. thank you staff you were great.

Majestic Palace was super clean, the grounds were top-notch. It’s a suburban location, long walk to the square in Sorrento. Maybe five good restaurants within walking distance. Taxis are insanely expensive, but that’s an Italy thing. No uber, other hotels offer free shuttles to Sorrento. All in all a fantastic place…unless you want hustle and bustle of the city

Excellent stay. Beautiful views of Vesuvius and surrounding area from fourth floor balcony room. Main bar, rooftop bar, restaurant, pool and orangery/gardens so lots of leisure space. Which felt very serene. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Would love to have stayed longer.30 minute walk into Sorrento centre, and five minute walk to train station with links to Pompeii and Herculaneum.

Stayed 6 days in Sorrento in this hotel ! Satisfied!!! They don't have hotel parking , but will help you to arrange parking at a 8 mins walk parking spot 2 0 dollars per day!! Their roof top bar has the best vibes in Sorrento !!! Love it They have a very pretty maintenance garden too !!

The rooms and property were very clean and staff was amazing. Their food from the two restaurants was great with a good choice for dinner if you wanted to stay for dinner. The Martini Bar at the top had a great view, music and staff attended to all your needs. Their pool area was very clean and again staff was wonderful.

The hotel staff were very welcoming, the room was clean (although they use a laundry company for towels & sheets which sometimes weren’t so clean) The roof top bar entertainment was very good (I think once a week) The hotel restaurant & bar was very good too. The location lets it down, it is a 25 min walk to Sorrento but there is nothing close to the hotel at all, apart from a couple of scruffy looking restaurants. It’s nice to be able to pop back to your hotel to change etc but the cab fare is 20-25 euros into Sorrento town so it’s not cost effective. Forget the bus… it’s full & there is no chance of getting on and unfortunately they just don’t have regular buses so it’s very unlikely you’ll ever get on! Always full by the time it gets to the stop near the hotel. I think location is so important when on holiday so would book closer to Sorrento if going again.

Overall, the stay was fine, but it felt more like an average hotel experience than a true 4-star standard. The room could have been cleaner—there was visible dust around the vents in both the bathroom and bedroom, and the shower glass wasn’t fully clean upon arrival. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! It is horrible. Out of all of the hotels I have ever stayed in, this is by far the worst. The staff is rude and the rooms are diagusring. The chairs on the balcony were made of plastic and had holes in them couldn’t even sit in them. Mold growing in the bathroom. The ac doesn’t work in the rooms. The mattress was at least 20 years old. It’s far from the town of Sorrento, If you don’t have a car you will have to get a taxi any time you want to go to town which would probably be every day just to get away from this awful place

Our room was spacious, light and well furnished, the bathroom was also spacious and cleaned to a high standard each day. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony was a pleasant place to sit - in the sunshine during the morning and in the cooler shade later on. The staff were exceptional - friendly, polite, helpful and always professional. They were very helpful when I sprained my ankle - providing an icepack and then calling for a doctor when my husband was ill. The breakfast choice was also exceptional, as were the options for the evening meal on the poolside or in the Magnolia restaurant The garden area was a peaceful oasis - it would have been nice to have more seating in the shady areas of the garden. I would recommend this Hotel for its peaceful atmosphere and lovely staff. It was hard to believe that the busy Corso Italia was only a short walk up the road!

Overall the Majestic was a beautiful property however, what made this a 4 instead of a 5 star for us were the paper thin walls. You truly can hear everything from everyone. During the day, this wasn’t a huge problem but at night we were waken up periodically throughout the night due to hearing every footstep from our upstairs neighbors. The last night we were here, it sounded as if those neighbors were up till 4-5am and it was hard to sleep because of how loudly you can hear everything. Despite that, the room was clean, breakfast was decent, and property was beautiful.

Incredible rooftop bar! Best view in all of Sorrento. Great pool and cocktail bar, but the pool closed too early. Drinks are very expensive. Quiet neighborhood, but also pretty far from town, so be aware. Rooms are older but spotless and comfortable. Staff was great.

We got “ upgraded” to a room that I don’t believe was an upgrade for what I paid for. I had sea view. To see the sea, you’d have to go to the very end of the ledge and lean over a wall to see. There were dead plants on my balcony and empty wine bottles when we got there. Room was an “ upgrade” but it was sooooo tiny. We were on the level as the roof top bar so the music was IN our room every night. Some nights I enjoyed that, but some we were so tired and it was wild. We had a server for lunch that was amazing! She was just so kind and amazing! One lady at the front desk was really sweet and helpful. One guy at the front desk was pretty helpful. The others were stand offish and passive. The place could use some upgrades. At night walking up to the hotel is very pretty and the flowers smelled so good! Lunch was DELICIOUS!

This is a lovely hotel with a good sized pool, roof top bar that has spectacular views and gorgeous sunsets. We had two rooms both of which were spacious with plenty of wardrobes and dressers. The shower was powerful with easy temperature control. The breakfast’s were delicious with a full range of food. The bar food was well presented and tasted great. Hotel was in easy reach of the station for visits to the historical sites. About a 2km walk into Sorrento itself which was flat (until the port) and had places to stop and take in the magnificent views. Lots of local restaurants nearby selling good quality food. Would definitely recommend this hotel

We stayed at the property for 6 nights and had nothing but the best time during our stay. Everyone from Pasqualina our housekeeper to the people at the front desk, the bar and the restaurant and the manager were nothing but kind and helpful during our time there. We had a beautiful room overlooking the city and it was quiet and always so clean. I look forward to getting home and telling our family and friends about this little hidden gem ! We loved how it had a pool we spent many wonderful days at! Also, the pizza at the magnolia restaurant in the hotel was amazing !!!! We cannot wait to go back one day and stay again! Majestic palace you will always have a special place in our hearts!!!

The hotel was in a quite neighborhood about a 15 minute walk to the main road in Sorrento. It was just a short walk to a beach club and beautiful cliffs. The balcony overlooking Mt Vesuvius and ocean was a highlight of the room. The rooftop bar was nice but the drinks were a little pricey (something we noticed all around Sorrento). Overall, we would stay again and recommend this hotel to others. The hotel was clean and fancy looking. We had a great trip.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Nice pool and beautiful rooftop bar. A bit of a walk from the main square in Sorrento but there are plenty of closer restaurants. Taxis are very expensive even to the Piazza which is only a 5 minute drive. Ubers do not operate in the area.

A must stay! Everything was perfect…the front desk staff were so kind and friendly and professional. The room was exceptional and the property was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant….wow! It is a Michelin star restaurant. The food was absolutely outstanding. We have never had such amazing servers before. They made our meal even better. Absolutely wonderful restaurant experience. Our stay was for 4 days. The room was very clean and breakfast was good and included in the room cost. However, we did eat in the dining room which was very nicely decorated and very clean but the food was not tasty at all except for the bread. When I received my pasta dish it was not good and the pasta was harder than el dente and the sauce was terrible. I told the waiter that I could not eat it as it was not good. There was a very scant menu for dinner, and there wasn’t anything else on the menu that I liked. My husband had fish which he did not like, but he ate it, plus every thing is alacarte like the veggies, salad or anything but the main dish. When I paid my bill, they refused to take off my pasta which only a tsp. Of pasta was tasted. What should’ve cost $40 they charged us $61.00. I asked them and they said there was a cover charge added on and would not take off the price of my pasta. We were the only ones eating in their dining room….now I know why. You would think that they could read the writing on the wall why the dining room is never filled. They have a lot of waiters standing around in case you need them but that is the extent of it.

The property was absolutely stunning, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The only downfall is that you have to taxi or Train to Sorrento main Square and there are limited dining options in the area without walking 30 minutes plus. It cost 30+€ each way to get to the main attractions. However, the view from the rooftop was unmatchable and the food that was available in the hotel was amazing just limited during certain hours of the day!

Disappointed with breakfast selection - limited fresh fruit, only plain yoghurt, no muesli, no poached eggs, fried eggs, no omelette option, no sausages. Only one place to plug in anything in the room. Had to unplug TV, and fridge to charge phones.

Was a nice hotel and reasonably priced. Most of the staff was very friendly. The property was very nice but the food was not so good.
