No elevator

No elevator and stairs were sketchy at the top landing. Hot tub needed service and pool looked a little dirty. Staff was brisk. Breakfast staff talking instead of re filling Breakfast items.

There were car breaking occurring so felt uneasy with staying there. Beds were small more like a double than a queen and hard. Only three pillows to a bed. Breakfast ran out of waffles a hour after being served and two hours before it closed. When asked was told that was all until the next day. Very limited. Juices were watered down. Barely any food for anyone after a hour of being served. No discounts for these issues.

Poor noise isolation between rooms. Neighbor had tv on all night and you could actually hear their conversations late at night. They also had a service dog that was barking occasionally. Hardly had any sleep. Staff warned us about constant car break ins in the area and to remove everything from our car which was loaded with furniture.

Perfect for what I needed for a last minute stay. The indoor pool was a welcome treat. The morning complimentary breakfast had good offerings. Make your own waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, fruit, assorted muffins and breads, 4 different juices…

This hotel was good for our needs. This was just a over night stay until we got to our final destination the next day. Breakfast buffet to my surprise was very decent and the kids were very happy with all the assortment of options. The plus for me was the Charging Station in the parking lot. I would definitely stay here again

I stayed at the BW Liberty Inn because when I have stayed at the Hampton Inn the pool is not heated to a comfortable temperature....well neither is the BW so it must be something about the area. The BW did have a hot tub, which was very enjoyable! Other than that the common areas were OK, but the carpeting throughout was filthy. I've stayed at BWs for years and this one definitely needs some TLC.

It’s on I 5. Good security and next to Dennys and fast food. Room was clean. Facility looks like time for refurbishing. Hallway carpet stained. Vending machine not working. Just ok.

I came here just for the pool it was extremely cold. Other then that the hotel was good.

I chose this property because of the location near the outlet stores, the many dining options, the excellent suite that was available, and the indoor pool and Jacuzzi. The suite was nice, but unfortunately, the pool and Jacuzzi were a major letdown. The pool was uncomfortably cold, and the Jacuzzi was lukewarm with jets that barely had any pressure. The breakfast was standard fare for this type of hotel. It would be good if the bacon were not overcooked.

I didn't sleep all night. Allergies went crazy, they allow pets but it seems they don't vacuum properly.

Love the included breakfast and hotel cleanliness

Very dirty, bed covers and shower curtain not clean. Dirt on carpets. Nobody cleaned tables at breakfast. When we checked in we were warned cars were getting broken into daily. Very disappointing, best western should be ashamed of themselves.

The breakfast was nice. The room lacked cleanliness-cobwebs around the ceiling. There were loose tiles on the floor- unsafe. Plenty of light and noise filtered through the gap at the bottom of the door.

I actually did not stay here as I checked out 15 minutes after checking in. While the hotel is only a few years old, and the pictures online looked great, and the lobby was clean and spacious, the stairs and hallway carpets were filthy and stained. The hallway had a stale cooking smell (like when people actually live in a building). It made me wonder if part of the hotel was being used to house the homeless. If not, then housekeeping left a lot to be desired. Security was also an issue. The windows in many of the rooms do not lock as the frames are not straight so the windows do not close all the way. I tried 2 different rooms and this was the case. The front desk clerk confirmed that they could not guarantee locking windows. As a woman traveling alone, I did not feel safe staying at this hotel (the location is off a busy highway with lots of people coming and going). On a positive note, the front desk person was helpful and courteous and seemed to understand when I told them I wasn't going to stay. Overall, I was surprised at the condition of this hotel. Had the room been a cheaper chain I may not have been surprised, but BW is a national chain with a good repution for clean and safe lodgings. The price point was definitely too high for the filthy and unsecure conditions. It would be great if the hotel owner would put a little effort into refurbishment and fixing the window situation. Guests with mobility issues should be aware that this hotel does not have an elevator.

Quiet and clean!

Stayed in a king bed for the night. Very clean. Bed was kinda hard. Everything worked and was in great shape. Breakfast had minimal hot options but plenty for everyone and all the fruits, yogurt, cereals etc too. No elevator for upstairs so keep that in mind if that matters to you. Would definitely stay again.

We had a very comfortable night stay. Spent a couple of bucks more and stayed in the suite. Quiet, clean linens, good water pressure in the shower.

I liked the updates that I saw in the room. I liked the indoor pool and spa. I liked the free breakfast that was included. It looks like there are still some updates that can be done- a little work in designing the bathrooms and removing all the carpet and replacing it with a different flooring option would go a long way toward making this location luxe.

The check-in and check-out were fast and easy. Plenty of parking for my 20 foot truck. Looks safe. The lobby was very small and there was no public restroom in the lobby. The room was clean. Bathroom has cracked and loose tiles. Towels are clean but thin and worn out. Shampoo and body wash dispensers were extremely hard to use. TV was hard to operate and had limited channels. Free breakfast was good. Overall it is a good place for a transient overnight stay.

Nice room, great breakfast! Lots of truck noise from Interstate 5. I'm a heavy sleeper so it didn't dother me, but my wife was pretty bothered by it.

Was adequate, but rooms were outdated and toilet very noisy when flushed from neighboring room as well as ours

The room was average. The service at the reception on the day of check-in was poor; I felt awkward asking for water, as there was no complimentary option available and I was directed to a vending machine instead. My son also forgot his sleeping blanket, and despite calling twice to retrieve it, I have not received a callback. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Front desk is always very pleasant and greet me with a smile everytime. I will continue to make this my stop when traveling through the area.

I drive this route once in a while and always book this hotel both ways. It isn't fancy in any way but to me it's a quiet little gem in a busy area and the staff are always helpful and friendly. A few thoughts at random- there is a good complementary hot breakfast; the check-in and checkout times are very convenient for the traveler; they have the most elegant indoor pool that I've seen in any hotel; it's a great stopover before or after fighting the LA freeways (I do a Sacramento-San Diego route); even though there's no elevator (handicapped rooms are downstairs) I don't mind carrying my luggage because I like the place so much. Five stars well deserved.

Not really impressed. Neighbors smoking marijuana. Could hear neighbors clearly. Tv didn't work and called front desk. Advised to just "fiddle with it ". Front desk didn't want to help. We gave up and went without tv. I just needed sleep so as long as we had the fan going to drown out the party next door it was Ok. We won't be staying here again.

We got the king suite, we were not aware that the suite was on the second floor and there is no elevator. This property is not easily accessible for disabled people. The front desk clerk, was phenomenal and tried to help to the best of her ability, however the cleaning crew is rude, lazy and hostile, not only to the clerk but to the guests. We paid nearly 200.00 for one night, which I had trouble getting to my room because no one told us there was no elevator, or a suite on the first floor. The toilet was running constantly, the hair dryer didn't work, the room needed a good vacuuming. The furniture is uncomfortable the television is tiny. The only reason I didn't give it a one star review is because the front desk clerk was phenomenal. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a room, drive the extra 30-45 minutes and stay in Bakersfield. Absolutely terrible. The entire cleaning crew needs to fired. The rates need to be lowered by at least a hundred dollars and the young lady working at the front desk needs a raise for dealing with the cleaning crew and the guests. Save yourself the irritation and stay in Bakersfield.

There was only one person working the counter. There were quite a few people in line waiting to check in. The guy working the counter was probably the most rude individual I've ever had to deal with in any hotel ever. I'd never stay there again. Nice hotel but terrible customer service.

Convenient location and fast check in!

Easy on and off expressway. Many places to eat nearby , some even walkable. Nice pool and hot tub indoor.

The hotel is close to I-5. And there are many gas stations and restaurants, making it a good place for taking rest.

I'm not at all picky about a free breakfast. I've booked many budget hotels with free breakfast and know what to expect and I'm fine with that. With that said, I would never go back largely based on the breakfast. Usually there are at least two waffle makers, there was only one. And that one waffle maker was in the corner where the utensils are, so you can't get your utensils while someone is preparing their waffle. The cereal dispensers are the cheapest dispensers I've ever seen. Looks like it's from the 99 cent store. The cereal kept getting stuck, so much so that as we were trying to unstick it, the cereal poured out and made a mess. We cleaned the counter, but when the hotel worker in charge of breakfast glanced over, she didn't bother to clean the floor. Also, I get that the bacon is microwaved but it could have been microwaved a little longer so that it was a tiny bit crispy. Instead it was so limp and sad. Then there's the coffee. The coffee was the worst I've ever had at a budget hotel, and I've had many. Again, I don't expect good coffee but it should be drinkable. It tasted like dirty water. The other main reason I wouldn't stay here again is the pool. I chose a hotel with an. Indoor poor because I thought we would want to swim at around 2pm-5pm and the sun would be too strong at that time. Well, the pool is literally open at the time most people wouldn't want to swim. I believe it's 7am-11am and then 5pm-10pm. Huh?! Why. Ugh. Never again.
