Overall the place was clean. You can tell they do try. Its an older building, a few spots on some towels or sheets, nothing that cant be swapped out upon request. The building was quiet, safe, offered parking for CHEAP in SF and they provide breakfast (I did not partake persoanlly, but at least it is included.) I really only had 2 complaints, the TV remote in my room hardly worked, up was left down was right, okay was the volume down. made no sense. My other compalint was that they only offer HOT water throughout the day. Luckily, there is an ice machine, but no drinking fountain, no bottle fill station. But they have a gym? They should look into a bottle filler for the gym room for sure.

I initially booked this property on 2016 and i dislike it because its old, carpet is really bad, room is really not great. I booked it never realized how the looks of it. Clean and above expectations. They have not installing a charging station for any customer who has EV though its kind of slow. i expected to be done immediately as it promotes excellent aminities. Dont expect a great breakfast, 2016 versus 2024 is the same , cant even offered fresh banana or fresh milk for your coffee. Its not even refilled regularly so i have to get the attention. Overall not bad at all. except for the locations its not walkable. Thanks for the Manager has the energy to obtain positive gesture for our college student. We learned something to navigate being a good student.

Good rooms forr the price. Had some items that needed repairs (bath had no stopper, shower curtain falling off). Breakfast was very limited but provided. Free parking was nice. The fitness center had an elliptical or bike (don't recall which) and treadmill, plus a functional trainer/cable machine. Would have loved a bench and some dumbbells. No laundry on site.

Mine was a small room but nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. There was no parking on the property (all spaces were full) and I didn't know how safe it would be to park on the street behind the hotel. I was able to move my car into one of their spots later after 10:30pm but the spaces are tight. The lobby closed about 10:30 at night until 6:00 or 6:30am so I could not get available water. The woman who checked me in was very nice.

The breakfast was free but low quality and lacked choices. Only the waffle maker and the muffins was a highlight. I didn't like the bathroom as is was too old and requires rennovatio. The lokation is near the Airport but no shuttle was offered. There is a bus station nearby where line 292 stops - takes you in approx 1 hour to San Francisco downtown.

If it had laundry services, it'd be perfect. Top-notch, otherwise.

Great property to stay at especially if you’re looking for long term parking. I highly recommend taking the best western shuttle back and walking around the street. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was great. Highly recommend and will use again.

Was surprised when an $8 nightly charge for parking was added to the bill . I have stayed in most of the hotels in the area and have never been charged by any other. There is no shortage of parking. The hotel should disclose this charge before you check in.

Everything was fine about the property. I loved that they had a gym & electric charging out front. The desk people were very kind & told us what we needed to know during our stay like the quiet hours. The most disappointing part was THE BED. I woke up with multiple bug bites each night. It completely ruined all my outfits that required showing my legs. I’m disappointed to give this place such a low review because the room and the bathrooms were very clean but those bed bugs are no joke. Also we said no thank you to room cleaning & we still came back to our room cleaned. We left valuables out & it was really concerning that they came in after we declined service. I wanted to like this place but those huge factors are a big setback for me.

Room was very clean. Modest room for a modest price. The night clerk helped us find a place to eat. The most amazing thing about this property is how quiet it was considering it is almost in the flight path of SFO.

The overall cleanliness of the room was not great, bathroom had hair all over the floors and walls. NOT Good!

Staff was nice and responsive but when I enter the room the carpet was soaking wet and the door jam was separted from the wall. The room smelled damp because it was.

My daughter got bitten by bed bugs, we told the staff, they returned the payment for one night and never pay for medicine a Or doctors visit. Great location but we had a hell of a week because my daughter felt so uncomfortable with the bugs bites. She was really miserable

I decided to stay here based on the good reviews and overlooked the bad ones. I figured they must of had a bad experience, doesn’t mean I will. We were visiting our daughter who goes to SFSU we stayed Friday-Sunday. When we walked in it was decent. Settled in then I noticed cigarette burns on the bed I called front desk and the nice receptionist just changed the bedspread. Mind you, it’s a no smoking hotel. I was going to shower and there was hairs in the bathtub ugh!! I called and they would send someone to clean, no one ever came. I told my husband first and last time we are staying here I didn’t want to move or make a big deal since I got what I paid for, $97 a night. We weren’t at the hotel only to sleep, out and about all day. Sunday when we were getting ready to leave I nocited there were numbers written on the sheets not sure if these belonged to room 208 because that’s what it said in big letter, I just shock my head for sure never staying here again. On a good note the receptionist Jim gave us a good breakfast spot recommendation and it was delicious.

The staff was great, very friendly and attentive. The room was not as clean, there was some rust in the restroom, dust around the TV and table and the sheets didn’t look at clean. They offered Breakfast but not limited variety.

Convenient, safe location near the SFO airport. Hotel has reasonable parking. Clean. Good breakfast. Rooms are comfortable. Staff friendly. Wifi is not super reliable so if remote working, might not be the best option.

What a great find! The Nova was the perfect place for our 4 night stay in the Bay. I chose the location due to its proximity in between two family members. A quick entrance on to the freeway going both North and South made it easy to get to our destinations quickly. The staff were VERY friendly and were very responsive when the air conditioning in our room decided to fail...during a heat wave. They assured us it would be fixed, or, we would be moved to another room. We were on our way out and when we returned many hours later, the front desk attendant immediately greeted us and confirmed that the air was up and running. The room was simple, but, well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It was impeccably clean and the photos were an accurate representation of the room we booked. We didnt avail ourselves of the complimentary breakfast, but, there were plenty of folks that did. The dining room looked well eqipped to feed everyone well. We were always greeted with smiles from EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE!! They provided restaurant recommendations, directions to the nearest coffee (needed my Peet's coffee fix!), and any other questions were, always, met with a smile. I, honestly, just felt that everyone truly enjoyed they're job and taking care of their guests. I will DEFINITELY return!!

Everything was fine except..... The bed. It was literally a bed that is made of cardboard. Similar to a display bed in a store. It was the most uncomfortable bed I have EVER had at a hotel. I would never stay here again for this reason.

I like the fact the hotel was a short distance from the airport and my family home, which i visited. Also, the breakfast was great. I did not enjoy the bed because it wasn't comfortable. The mattress needs to be replaced because it sunk in the middle. Also, the hotel doesn't have face towels. My wife and I used hand towels to take showers. Once the hand towels became completely wet, they were heavy. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

If you decide to stay here, be prepared to hear the sound of planes taking off and landing—even from inside your room. The noise is quite loud. The hotel doesn’t provide earplugs; they’ll simply remind you that it’s close to the airport and say, “This is the choice you made.”

This hotel needs a little TLC. Biggest complaint was road noise and light pollution. Our room had a light right outside the window and no blackout curtains. The shutters only blocked so much light. Front desk staff were friendly. Nobody was there when I checked out early in the morning. Beds were comfy. Towels were thin and small.

I would pick a different hotel the next time I\'m in SFO. Included breakfast was the cheapest possible. First time I\'ve ever been given Kraft or maybe Great Value singles as cheese, Parkay as butter, and the fattiest ham around. The AC in the room itself barely worked the first night, turning on but off soon after no matter what we set it at, and despite the thermostat saying cool to 66 and the unit 60. Temp showed as 74. I let staff know in the morning, supposedly they reset it, and the following night it didn\'t kick on at all. Only the fan/blower turned on. I told the staff in the morning and he just gave a very robotic "sorry" without any real remorse or offer to compensate. Someone else commented about poor AC in their review so this must be a recurring issue. The bed was really soft in the middle and uncomfortable, and the provided pillows were half-sized (i.e. square). The general remodeling inside is nice, but it\'s like they either ran out of money for these details, or area just running a bare bones operation. Nice that there was no airport noise so close to it.

One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was because they claimed that they provided an actual buffet breakfast. This was untrue. It was just a continental breakfast. I guess they thought they could say it was a breakfast because they had a waffle maker. The Wi-Fi connection was extremely sporadic, to say the least. I also think that parking should be included in the price of the room, NOT an additional charge.

I didn't hear much overnight however my husband states he was aware of constant traffic noise during the night.

Everything ok, but they don’t return our deposit yet. We wait deposit more that 1 month, when they say it will coming in 1 day…

The young man who checked me in was unfriendly and borderline rude. Ridiculous upcharge of $17.00 to check in early. There is no reason for a charge like that if there is an available room. The faucet in the bathroom shower was extremely loose and was almost falling out of the wall. Homeless man camping out in parking lot. Breakfast was a joke. Extremely disappointed in this hotel. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Stayed here for a festival weekend and the owner made my friends and I feel so welcomed at entrance! He let us in earlier than our original check in time, gave us food place recommendations, made us laugh, and most importantly made us feel safe. The rooms are nice and spacious (has a mini fridge & microwave) !!! I can’t even think of the words to use to describe how great our experience was. We will ALWAYS stay here whenever we are back in the area for more events.

Our stay at Hotel Nova SF was a pleasant surprise. Hotel Nova SF is a boutique, economical hotel and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious. We enjoyed the free breakfast which reminded us of a continental breakfast in Europe. We will definitely stay again when visiting the Bay area.

San Francisco hotels were fully booked. I finally found Hotel Nova and just took a chance. It was delightful. The best part was how nice and helpful they were. Kenny, at the front desk helped with my UPS pickups despite her being busy with a full house. Everything was clean. They are getting up to date a little at a time. It kind of surprised me but everything was very clean and the mattress was wonderful. I would encourage you to try Hotel Nova, a smaller but very nice and well run establishment. Also, free breakfast! Will definitely stay again. The joy and kindness shown more than makes up for the older fixtures!

My first time staying at the Hotel Nova. Janmeesh greeted me and was so friendly, professional and very accommodating to my needs. All the staff that I uncounted were all friendly and very professional. My room was clean and bigger than I thought it would be. The breakfast provided was very good. Coffee, tea and juices. Waffles, hot(instant) and cold cereal, fruit, variety of bread, sandwich meat and cheese as well as yogurt. The surrounding area of the hotel has food options, gas stations and Costco right across the street. Highway access is right down the street. I would definitely stay at Hotel Nova again and have already suggested to family and friends to stay there!!

Always love coming here when we have to work events in the city. Great staff and they even held onto my AirPods that I’d left 6 months ago.

It’s in an industrial area that is convenient to the airport and freeway access. Nothing exciting nearby but a clean welcoming place.

What a gem! Was skeptical at first not being a major hotel chain, but was very clean & nice accomodations. Jamesh was amazing!! What a warm & friendly welcome. Felt right at home & he offered several dining suggestions. It is more of an industrial area, right next to the airport convenience. I was worried about the noise, but traffic quieted down about 9pm and was able to sleep without issue. Perfect stay for early flights and layovers. Be aware- they do charge $8 additional for parking once at property!

Modest, clean hotel at a decent price with the unusual perk in this area of free parking. Three minutes away from SFO rental car return.

Late arrival onto SFO. Call hotel to have them arrange a taxi. Location is across the street from Fox rental car. We walked over the next mornong after breakfast and started our vacation.

I was staying the night on a layover before an international flight. My original hotel actually canceled on me so I quickly had to find a hotel close to the airport that was reasonably priced. I’m really glad I chose Nova! The staff was really great and nice, suggested a great place for me to get dinner nearby. I walked to the restaurant which took about 25 minutes, not the best walk just along busy roads, but doable and lots of options in that area to eat. I did end up Ubering back to the hotel. Very close to the airport and there are a couple more fast food options very close and walkable. The hotel and rooms are dated, but it was very clean and comfortable. I was alone and felt comfortable and slept great. The breakfast was better than I expected for the price point, simple continental style but more options than most I’ve seen.

Nice place near airport. And if you rent car from fox then it is right on the opposite side of the hotel

Guest services we received was excellent! The room was clean and neighboring occupants were considerate with noise levels even though there was a rave going on that weekend. The provided breakfast was serviceable. Would definitely stay here again.

This worked well for a stay near the airport after flying in late at night. The room was fine, and the breakfast had a variety of options, including fresh made waffles. Some scrambled eggs or breakfast meat might have been nice, but there were hard boiled eggs and some fruit.

It was fine. I went because there was a breakfast buffet and my kid and I enjoy a hotel breakfast. I think this might have been the least impressive breakfast buffet I've seen in an american hotel. There was a waffle maker (fun, for sure), and a toaster. But apart from that - no hot food of any sort. There were cold hard boiled eggs, and some slices of ham. Also No bagels, no muffins, no cream cheese, no peanut butter, no actual butter. There were a few apples but no other fruit. Most of the basic things you expect even from a crappy hotel breakfast were absent. We still had a fine time, and enjoyed the wafffles. But know what you're in for if you come here because you want breakfast.....
