This was my second stay at a Super 8 - We arrived just before check in and there was a man working on the stairs hammering away for some time. The next morning at 9am I was awaken by the same man hammering away at the stairs. I understand repairs need to be made but on a Sunday morning? They should at least have the curtesy to begin during checkout which is around 11am - Most people are away and would like the option to sleep in on the weekend.

The property is severely run down. Cement in stairs to get to second floor is crumbling and dangerous. The door locks looked as though anyone could break in with ease. The beds were made with white sheets fashioned to cover a decrepit blanket. pillows were a joke. I almost chose to sleep in my car, but did not feel safe in the parking lot due to loiterers.

There were some things unsafe with this property. The stairs had rolled edges facing outwards. The bathroom sink was scalding hot water only. Guests in other rooms were screaming at each other at 5:00AM in the morning. Things I didn’t like were missing molding, peephole in door was missing and had a napkin or TP shoved into it, breakfast was not opened at 7:00 (fridge with yogurts was locked and no coffee) I asked front desk clerk for a bottom floor and he said hotel was booked bath there were unoccupied rooms visible from parking lot. He told me that because I booked online I was only optioned for certain rooms but it felt like he purposely gave me a poor room. NEVER STAY HERE!!!

great shower. TV ok. Plenty of hot water. (1)Peep hole in door was exactly that - a hole in the wood so anyone could look in and see what the guest is doing. Someone had stuffed a slimy piece of paper in it. I covered it with a bandaid. (2) Dirty corners in bathroom. (3) Molding missing in several places. (4) Breakfast items poor. Only instant oatmeal and pastries. Apple juice dispenses water and had something in it (bug or dust). (5) Connecting doors from outside to elevator area propped open 24 hours a day - Is this secure? You know i won't be back here again!

The stairs to the 2nd floor are in twrrible disrepair. At the top of the stairs you can hear the chirping of a low battery in a smoke detector..it was my room!! I was leaving for dinner & asked that it be fixed. I returned, it was not fixed. They came & fixed it..til 530 am. Started again. When i returned late that night they fixed it..til 503 am the next morning it went off again. The bathroom floor was dirty and cracked tiles. The window was open letting bugs in.

Dirty and disgusting, inside and out. Had hole in the wall. shower curtain falling of the wall, frame around bathroom mirror missing. chucks of something I don't want to think about on the wall and floor. Alcohol bottles in the walkway. Did not feel safe. Cops came each day to look at the requestion log of guest and licensed plate of cars in the lot. Seen repairs being done to entrance drive thru to facility. when done repair was not complete and pieces of plaster hanging to fall on a car sometime in the short future.

I stood in the Jacuzzi suite and the jets in the tub were not working. The manger offered a partial refund and said that he would be charging it as a regular room instead. They never gave me the refund I’ve been calling numerous times and they always say they’ll call me back, but they never do. Would not recommend this place.

Always enjoy my stay. Jacuzzi is always nice and clean. Staff is great and accommodate anything you need I will definitely say it again.

This property should be condemned by the health department. Black mold on walls, peeling paint, red residue in shower, strange petrified thing on door (old paper towel?), lots of questionable smatterings of things on many walls.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! The rooms are filthy! Floors are sticky, bathroom has mold, smeared lipstick on wall, air vents clogged with dust, over all just dirty! Smelled the entire time like cigarette smoke and weed. The the person next door had a lady friend join him at 11pm and we had to listen to them have intercourse all night! We had our younger daughter with us!! It was the worst experience ever! Had to sleep with TV on!! This place needs to be shut down!

Bathroom was dirty and the sink had small insects crawling in it. Guest bathroom in lobby had only one hand towel for presumably everyone to use and it was wet. We ended up not staying there.

Well honestly there was absolutely nothing to like about this place. Complete ant infestations (literally hundreds of ants including on the bed,) window doesnt lock, bathroom door doesnt even close, ceiling covered in black mold, not a good area, complete disappointment.

I travelled here on a family trip and this was poor. Our toilet had urine and tissue in it still. Bathtub had a ring of dirt around it. No air conditioner no screens on window. Literally the worse experience of my life

The bed was clean thankfully. That was probably my only positive feedback. The pillows were lumpy. The bed creaked quite a bit. There were holes and rust patches everywhere. There were all sorts of weird stains in the bathroom and all over the walls of the room. Outside I’m not sure what was going on but there were fights, arguing, door slamming, cars screeching all night.

Cheap stay in a good location! Kinda dirty, kinda run down, but they're working on it. The internet doesn't work when it rains. There is a Cumberland Farms right next door, which is convenient. The staff are friendly. Overall, it's a good bargain.

I would NEVER recommend this hotel. We stayed 2 nights and had 6 issues as follows: 1. No refrigerator upon check in. We just thought we didn't get one. When I asked for a second ice bucket on our second day, the desk clerk said we should have a refrigerator and got us one. 2. TV did NOT work at check in. Handyman had to get a new black box to get the TV to work. Took about 30 min. 3. No shower curtain. Got one the second night. 4. Keycard didn't work 2nd night. Had to ask for another one. 5. Clerk who checked us in on 6-22 in the afternoon called my cell phone at 3:15 a.m. the next morning asking when we were checking in. ????? 6. Toilet didn't flush correctly starting second night. I would've complained and asked for a partial refund because of all of these disasters, but we were in a hurry to leave to catch our plane.

A king size bed with 3 little square pillows. I didn’t like that because I asked for the desk to send me more pillows and was told they were going to give me more pillows and never did. King size bed deserves king size pillows not 3 standard ones!!!!!

- Check in took forever, with two people working and only one customer in front of us. - Key card wouldn't work after being reprogrammed twice, so they had to come and reset the key card scanner on the door. - Room had stains everywhere, and a plastic bag over the smoke detector. - Room smelled like weed even though it was a non-smoking room. It almost smelled like someone was in there smoking up in there that evening before we got there. - Room is desperately in need of renovation.

Service/Staff: While there are some inconsistencies, I appreciate the overall effort of the staff of this property to accommodate individual needs and demonstrate the flexibility that has sadly become so unusual amongst most other local properties. Condition/Cleanliness: It would be nice to see better quality of repair work (light switches, plumbing, etc.) That said, the Milford Super 8 location is the cleanest and most well-kept Wyndham property in the greater New Haven area by far.

I won't be staying here again. Even after 2 reminders to the front desk, I never received towels or toilet paper for the room (neither was in the room upon arrival). My card didn't work 3 times and I had to have it reactivated, twice in the wee hours of the day, not safe at all. It was super noisy from other travelers as well.

5 night say. Booked king be room, given a queen bed room. I requested a changed, but they never held a king bed room for me. TV did not work -- no cable box. Requested fix... every day, but it was never fixed put in a cable box. They had outlets with no cover. Outlets with covers, but didn't work. I could go on, but won't bother. I realize I booked a Motel, not the Crown Plaza. But this was the worst service I've experienced at any Hotel 8 (or cheap hotel/motel) in my entire life! And I'm 62 years old and travel a lot!

Cheap stay in a good location! Kinda dirty, kinda run down, but they're working on it. The internet doesn't work when it rains. There is a Cumberland Farms right next door, which is convenient. The staff are friendly. Overall, it's a good bargain.

The location was fine. Some of the other guests were questionable. There was mold on the walls and ceiling tiles of the bathroom. The door jamb was split to the bathroom. The tub/shower faucet was loose and almost broken off but good water pressure and temperature. The sink and floor and toilet were clean. The sink was cracked in the basin though. AC worked great. Double pane windows had condensation in them. Continental breakfast was barely there. Yogurt, a couple of old apples, a coffee machine, a juice machine, and a couple of Costco granola bars. No napkins. There was a roaster and a microwave but nothing to put in either. Staff was very nice and accommodating when asked for extra towels in the evening.

Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone unless less there is no other option. Bathroom was poor. The front door not properly sealed. The sheet on the bed had hole. Place needs attention. Only if there is no other alternative. The location is good on the main road but that's all.

The staff was polite, but not very helpful. They booked me and my family in a smoking room the first night because they read "All special requests (such as in-room amenities, bed type, and smoking preference) are shared with the hotel," as a request for a smoking room. Fortunately, the changed our room the next morning, but we all had to shower the stink off of us. The breakfast was extremely spartan and there were not even the requisite utensils for eating. The response was "Oh, I guest we will have to order some more...". I was glad to see that they did not have carpeted floors (imitation wood), but even that they did not manage to keep clean.

I had reserved a king size room and when we arrived and checked in I was given a room with 2 queen beds. I went back to the office and said this is not what i reserved and was told this is what my computer says and he doesn't have a king room available but could give me a king room with a hot tub for an additional cost or he could refund our money. A little back and fourth with him and the end result was we could have the king size room for the same cost and he would turn off the hot tub we said fine. I would not have used the hot tub it was kinda gross. They never came in and made up our room or gave us freah linens we had to use wet towels for our showers the next day. Their free breakfast item is maybe a piece of fruit or a yougurt. I definitely would not stay in this hotel ever again.
