The Hilton Garden Inn is beautiful, the lobby recently remodled has a modern relaxed look. The rooms are large and relaxing with large windows and shades. The beds are comfortable with clean, fresh linens The bathroom is bright and well stocked. The microwave and refrigerator are clean and ready to perform. The pool is a generous size and fun to relax in. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Milford. Our room was extremely clean, staff was helpful and friendly, and most importantly, the hotel was accepting of our pit bull! We had a wonderful mini vacation in Milford!

I did not like the fact that I was not told the facility was under construction and the pool has a strong smell of ammonia and mold and if you look inside the pool along the walls of the pool it has mold... I think the communication could be a little better. We should have had gotten a complimentary breakfast due to the conditions that we had to endure upon our stay

Hotel lobby is beautiful. Our room was a suite. It smelled so terrible and musty. The towels all smell like mold also. The grout is dirty and the toilet needed to be cleaned. Shampoo and soap weee empty. The layout of the suites are great but this room needed some TLC. I’d have to stay elsewhere next time.

My duvet comforter had stains on it. I asked for a replacement and they just kept bringing me different sheets. There was also fruit flies in the room. The walls are also very thin so I could hear my neighbors TV and conversations.

Apparently they let a soccer team have a late check out which resulted in being told our room would be ready 1-2 hrs after 3:00pm. All she offered was a list of area restaurants. Room was definitely not thoroughly cleaned, with great fingerprints all over the door and Cheerios on the chair.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the hotel. Both times were to visit family near by, so the location for us worked. Overall the hotel is just okay. Both times the same things occurred, and we’ve stayed years apart. First you walk in and the lobby seems really nice. The lobby is the nicest part of the hotel. The rooms are all in need of updates. They all smell musty and like wet carpets. The bathrooms have rust and mold in corners that just from age. The furniture has heavy wear and tear. The pool both times was cold- which is fine. Just not what you typically expect from an indoor pool. The pool itself could also use a really deep clean or updates. That said, my kid still had fun! Both times we stayed the TV did not work. First round eventually with somebody in their maintenance department was able to make it work the second time around all the TVs were down. They did not mention it to us nor did they comp us any type of refund the TV might not seem like a big deal on your trip, but we had a small child so the nighttime activity was extremely limited. The hotel is fine overall, the bed was comfy etc. personally I’m just surprised because it’s a Hilton and because both of my experiences were exactly the same. For the price of the hotel room I’d not expect it to be a Hilton is all I’m saying I guess.

We booked for a night when we needed a place to stay because 95 became too snowy to continue. The hotel is convenient to 95 and had rooms available. The hotel & our room was clean and reasonably quiet although we could hear the people above us running around for a while. The driveway & parking lot had been plowed overnight which was helpful. We didn’t have breakfast but we did get coffee from the carafes in the lobby which we appreciated. We would stay again

The hotel was clean and convenient being right off 95. I was told there was free WiFi but when we tried to connect it said for Hilton members only. We had reception there so it was just more of an annoyance. The rooms were clean but the pillows were terrible.

Easy access from highway, plenty of parking. Room was nice, bathroom had rust around the tub. A/C was so loud it kept me awake most of the night. Staff were very nice.

Nice property, but had to change room due to loud door banging close every 5 minutes below me at 7am. Water was not very hot, far from the boiler I’d guess. Front desk was helpful. New room was perfect, quiet, shower hot. Buffet for breakfast.

We arrived early but checked in with no problem. Our TV wasn’t working but Mark, the chief engineer was there to help within 10 minutes of my call to the front desk. Professional snd friendly, he got the problem solved in no time. We enjoyed the pool and had a relaxing stay.

Not very convenient for walking to beach or train station due to lack of decent sidewalks. ( not blaming the hotel , just the location). A couple of the staff were a bit snappy but housekeeping was excellent. Finally, I have yet to receive the hold of 200$ on “ incidentals” from over a week ago. I realize that accounting makes interest on these holds but so do I. Seems a bit larcenous to me.

I had a reservation at the Hilton Garden Inn Milford several days prior to my stay, and I'm a Hilton Honors member. When I arrived around 10PM, I was told there was no room for me because the hotel was oversold. They booked a room for me down the road but did not inform me until I carried all my luggage into the lobby to check in even though they had already decided to cancel my room. I did not receive any Hilton points for my stay at the other hotel despite being told I would.

We were put up in handicap accessible, which was fine to have the large space. Room was clean and everything in good working order. Bar/restaurant was subpar. They were out of many liquor and beer choices as well as many of the menu items. Overpriced food. We got a flatbread pizza for $15 that was so small!

We stayed at this hotel because we were leaving our daughter for a summer program in Yale U. It was much better than what we expected and about a 15-minute drive to Yale. Service was very good and the hotel's dining service was very good as well.
