Check - in and Check - out was simple and went smoothly. The property is well maintained. Walking through the halls all room doors and the carpeting needs some love. The room its self was clean, except the microwave exterior was extremely dirty. I did not open it to look at the inside. The furniture looked abused and outdated. It is obvious that the pictures online are not recent. The bed was comfortable and the location was perfect for what we needed. The pool was not operational and hasn’t been for sometime. No continental breakfast, which I didn’t realize when I booked (my bad). Rating the establishment is had to do. Because yes I was disappointed with the condition of the property and room, however, the room was clean and comfortable. Being an Econolodge, which I utilize a lot. I do not believe was to there standards. Will I stay here again? Probably not but the price was cheap and I believe you get what you pay for.

Please read reviews before booking! Our party of 3 non-smokers got a "suite" room with a queen bed and a king bed for this stay. It was on the second floor. I have knee issues and drive with a permanent handicapped tag for my car - while there was close parking available for me, there were no elevators (not advertised to exist; but expected in 2024 of most hotels). Climbing the stairs with my luggage was difficult. The room smelled horribly of cigarette smoke, yet there were no ashtrays in the room (none of us smoke, and one has an allergy and awoke with a sore nose and throat; after an anxious night of sleep). The beds were in two rooms, which was nice - but there was no A/C in the room with the King bed! The A/C for this space was loud and in the main queen-bed room - it worked fine there, but there was no circulation into the king-bed room. The humid weather this week resulted in a very humid and uncomfortable nights sleep. The fan in the room helped marginally, but it made noise at slow speeds. The bathroom was clean and smelled of Clorox cleaning products (good), but the shower curtain rod was bent down a lot - so the curtain was low in the tub and stepped on. The small counter had stains and cut marks on it; although seemed clean. We slept ok on the beds, although the king bed creaked a little bit when moving on it. Overall, got an ok night of sleep, but was inconvenienced by no elevator and the strong oder of cigarette smoke. Would not choose this place again

Fine for an overnight stay after a late arrival. Shuttle arrived quickly at airport and on schedule in the morning to take us to the rental car. Front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Room cleaning was superficial. I was glad the floor was barefoot clean. (I’ve had non-carpeted floors that are dusty and gritty elsewhere.) The bathroom had lots of areas that need deeper cleaning than just a quick wipe—corners and ledges that had dust+moisture=scum, brown ring around the drain and in corners of shower. There was also half a sandwich in the fridge.

It was what I was looking for. It seems like the price is low because everything is old, the hallways smell of smoke, and apart from the airport shuttle there aren’t really any frills (e.g. no breakfast in the lobby, just coffee). But the place didn’t seem neglected or unsanitary. It didn’t feel unsafe. It wasn’t noisy. And the staff was friendly. I wouldn’t stay here on the way to a romantic getaway, but as an affordable room for the night, it worked.

The hotel was an average low cost hotel. It would have been good if it didn’t reek of marijuana and cigarettes and didn’t have a dirty wash cloth still hanging in the bathroom. Other than that the price was great and the staff were super nice.

Within minutes of checking into my room a cockroach ran across the nightstand. When I told the front desk he didn’t seem alarmed, surprised or disturbed by this. I left immediately and requested a refund.

I actually found a cockroach in my room and notified staff. They then told me a check out when I gave them $100 cash deposit the day prior that I was unable to receive my deposit back because I took towels. I don’t take towels. I have enough money for those things. I had explained that to them and then they said that the bathroom was a mess. The bathroom was a mess. It was pretty standard. I would not recommend staying here. The one of the staff members is extremely miserable and nasty. I got DoorDash delivered as I am partially disabled and the cleaning crew yelled at them. I would never stay here

I have stayed here once before and it was it was adequate for just an overnight before an early flight. This time the room was very musty, dirty, many spots on the walls that gauged, a mouse trap in the corner and the ac smelled. Will never stay there again.

Oh where to begin. This hotel is like a row house full of crack users. The carpets are filthy. The building hasn't been renovated since it was built. If you told me the building was abandoned I would believe it completely. The AC didn't work. I could hear people crying / yelling all night. It was like something out of a horror movie.

It sounded like someone was hitting the floor with a broom handle from the room above us on our last night at the hotel. Husband called front desk, but the noise perpetuated, even into the morning. We could not sleep (even with a sound machine) and it was most unpleasant! Otherwise, our stay would have been good.

The receptionist was very helpful and resolved my requests properly. However, the room was not soundproofed, so I could hear the conversation in the next room, and the biggest problem was that I could not sleep because the sports game on TV kept playing at high volume at 3 am. I had to endure it for an hour, but I called the receptionist and he stopped it. It's an old building, and given the low rates, I suppose it can't be helped.

I got charged 3 times for the same reservation and the they argued with me about it. Very poor service. It was probably the worst hotel experience I've ever had.Filthy to say the least as well, Never again will I consider Econolodge.

I called a day ahead of time to make sure I could get a shuttle at almost midnight. I was told yes. Great. Called the hotel when we were walking out of baggage claim, they tell me my reservation was cancelled because of an issue with my credit card. No one tried to contact me. I asked if they had any rooms available. Thankfully they did, but I had to pay more because it was a different room. The hotel was really warm inside. We went to our room and my husband check the mattress for bedbugs. No bugs, but there was a lot of blood on the underside of the mattress. From what I could tell it was clean enough, but everything was so dated and minorly damaged that it had a grungy feel anyway. Thankfully the sheets looked clean and we were able to sleep.

Very upset and would never rent from this property ever again. I would like my money back to be honest They was very mean and nasty to me when checking in. Told me my sister and her kids witch are 7weeks 3 and 5 couldn’t stay in the room with her because i forgot to put 4 people on the reservation. It’s late at night and she just needed to lay her head for a couple hours so she could figure some things out. She was put outside in the cold by her kids, father and this lady threatened to call the cops on us because I did not put four people on a reservation instead of 2 Horrible Place I would never rent from them again.this never happened to me before and I use this site all the time. I would never again. I’m all set.

Comfortable and convenient stay. Flight arrived late. So decided to stay the night. Always park my car there when traveling. So arrived at 12:30 AM. Check in was smooth and friendly. Staff always friendly and accommodating.

Old and outdated but clean enough for a quick sleep and shuttle to the airport. Also great that they provide parking while we are gone. Front desk clerk was amazing, juggling the phones and multiple people checking in and out while also being so thorough. Great job.

The ad for that motel said continental breakfast. When i got there there was a sign that they were under renovations and there was no breakfast. Had i known that before i booked i would for sure had gone somewhere else. And the hallways stunk and were dirty.

We got the 2 beds room. It was spacious. We checked the bedsheets and cabinets and looks clean. I Did not see any critters or bugs. There was adequate lighting on the bathroom, wc I prefer. There was also a good amount of towels. The microwave and ref was in working order. There were 2 TVs but only one is working. There was no breakfast, but there’s coffee 24 hours/day. I asked for printing help with a document I need and they did it for me, wc I appreciate. It’s very close to the airport. My only complaint is the very very strong odor of disinfectant. It made me sneeze for awhile.

Hello check in was fine. Major upgrades should be done. Place is run down. Our room was supposed to be non smoking but when the bathroom fan was on it wreaked of smoke. Old dirty rugs in halls. Vending for only soda no snacks.Paint chipping on ceiling in shower. No clock had the right time in our room. Radio & many places in our room covered in dust.We were disappointed. I knew we weren’t staying at a Hilton. I will not stay at this chain of hotels again. Especially in Windsor Lockes CT when visiting family. Charlotte Tatreau

The bed sqeeked, the hair dryer did not work. The pool was closed. There was no breakfast. I could heart the ice machine all night. The shower curtain rod was loose.
