Motel 6-Windsor Locks, CT - Hartford

Had a few unsavory people hanging around the area. A little noisy next to the airport. The price was good, and the bed was comfortable, didn’t spend any time at the hotel, otherwise, just ok.

Place is a dump. Will never stay there again. Not maintained well at all. People working the front desk hard to understand and when trying to explain yourself or how bad their rooms is, you just get a blank stare and "I'll make sure to tell the manager". They shoved two full beds in a single bed room, had no space. Bathroom door would not close all the way. Looked like there were old blood splatter on the floor and wall. It was terrible. Never again! And I had some pretty good stays at Motel 6, but not this one! Never booking at a Motel 6 again!

It was wonderful that the hotel was pet friendly & didnt have a dog weight limit but 98% of the dogs at the hotel were not on leashes. Regarding the room, when I went to clean the water off the floor, my cloth came up [not a little but] absolutely covered in dirt. I also went to use the room phone to call the front desk but had an issue - the connector that holds the cable in the telephone port was in but the cable wire had been cut & ripped out of the wall. I made the front desk aware on Friday night, was told it would be fixed Sat but when we left Sun morning, the phone was still in disrepair. Finally, we knew we were near Bradley Airport but found out we were in the direct path for all planes landing. On a totally different note, the housekeeping & front desk staff were very nice!
