We had a great stay! The room was clean and spacious and the pool was beautiful and cold. The only drawback we experienced was that the pool wasn’t serving a full menu and wouldn’t let us bring in anything else which makes hanging out there for a long time less inviting. Luckily the beach is close! We would stay here again and hope they can get the kitchen open.

The SoHo house seems to rented out thru Maxwell Residences. The concierge service thru Maxwell House was excellent but there was the worst service at the SoHo House. We were told to drink our whole bottle of water we brought up to the pool or they would not give us a towel. This comes the day after we spent $300 on our pool bill. We didn’t realise they only wanted us to buy their a van Water, which is fine if that is the policy, but they were very very rude about it. The last day the elevators were broken. No one bothered to try and help us with our bags down eight flights of steps, didn’t tell the cab driver that was waiting in the lobby that the elevators were down and we were at a different place. Everyone just looked at us and was rude and offered no help.

Property was awesome. Staff from both Maxwell’s and the SOHO were friendly and attentive. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and the view was great from the pool and our balcony. We had some issues with our lock mechanism for one of our doors and our Conceirge got it sorted. The gym was incredible, clean, A/C and not busy. Only negatives would be that the elevators seemed to end up out of order often at this property, once leaving us to walk up the several flights of stairs with our groceries. Another thing that was minor bit of note was that the pool area has a bar and restaurant which was lovely but also meant we couldn’t have our own water bottles/containers up there. The service up there was awesome and we enjoyed our time up there but would maybe have spent more time there if we didn’t feel like we had to pay to be there. The other minor thing is that the Conceirge contact was via SMS and I only had data via e-SIM very minor but something to note All in all a great experience. We would absolutely stay at this property again. The amenities and the location were well worth it. And Maxwell collection seems to be a well oiled machine with lots of options.

Gorgeous building and pool area. The prettiest I’ve ever seen! Our one bedroom two bath condo was incredible. Very modern. Elevators were very confusing, especially to get to the pool. Our sliding door to the pool elevator would not lock properly. The pool was not heated while we were there which is fine if you just want to enjoy the sun and the bar on the rooftop. The building entrance is just feet away from the highway which can be dangerous. It’s very loud from the room as well. Not the most friendly or helpful people at the front desk. They just ignore you as they’re watching very loud videos on their phones. This resort has so much potential but it’s not quite there yet. Looks like luxury but does not feel like it.

Maxwell SoHo is a beautiful suite hotel. The views are breathtaking. The staff is friendly. Here’s the issues, the entry to your suite is a journey. Multiple elevators to move to, with a card, but you have a code to get into your room. The elevator was down two different days, one was evening that delayed us getting into our place for two hours. The hotel seems to still need time to clear out bumps. Once they do it will be excellent.

Very nice building. The unit we stayed in was beautiful and we'll furnished. The owners care about how the unit shows. The checkin process is awkward waiting for someone to get us, the parking is difficult and getting around the place Can be challenging at first with the elevators. The property itself is absolutely beautiful with the infinity pool on the roof overlooking the mountains in the back and the ocean in the front with the city all around. The unit was very large and well kept with beautiful furniture and finishings. The location was very close to everything in the Romantik Zone with a simple 10-15 minute walk. The Ubers were VERY cheap though if you don't want to walk. Unfortunately, if you like to walk everywhere, the street you must cross to get anywhere was VERY busy. This was difficult to leave the property and made it very loud to sit on the balconies or even inside the front of the property due to how busy the road was. Overall, the stay was wonderful!

This was an amazing find in the zona romántica just a short walk from all the fabulous restaurants and nightlife. Brand new facilities and a huge gym which was incredible - loads of machines. We loved seeing the sunset from the massive rooftop and hung out around the pool for hours! Modern and clean well def be back

Everything was great about this property. Good location within walking distance to many sights, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping and the beach. Condo was beautiful, clean and everything you need is already on site. Pool has the best view around. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

My overall stay at this facility was a very good experience. The residence was clean and walkable to the main Zona Romantica area with all the great restaurants. I wouldn’t recommend for kids. My favorite part was the pool and view and the staff at the pool was amazing. Ulysses was our waiter during our pool stay and he’s great. I had trouble with trying to actually call the facility before my trip though and that was frustrating as only email or text was available and I wanted to speak to a real person. I didn’t understand until my arrival that this wasn’t a hotel and they don’t have a front desk person available 24/7 to help with any issues that may arise. Even though thankfully there weren’t any for me and my stay was excellent I would hate to be in a position where I can’t call for help in the middle of the night should I have a problem or question. Staff was amazing and the pool view is breathtaking.

We stayed in a corner unit on 7th floor. The unit was spotless, modern and provided everything needed. The rooftop infinite pool and bar setup on the 15th floor is world class with spectacular views looking over Zona Romantica and the ocean with a great wait staff. Plenty of sun or shade options around the pool. Can’t imagine a nicer rooftop setup anywhere! Easy walking distance to many restaurants, bars, shops and beach. The only negative is that road noise was so loud it made it impossible to relax and enjoy time on the beautiful patio outside our unit. Amazingly, road noise was almost non-existent around the rooftop pool and bar 8 stories above our unit. Our Concierge was very attentive and willing to help with anything needed.

Very nice place to stay, beautiful rooftop and pool. The room is very spacious. Service is good as well. Overall it’s a great experience. To be noted, it’s an apartment style hotel and there is construction ongoing in the area but master bedroom is pretty quiet. The bed sheet can be cleaner since I saw a stain there.

Absolutely perfect vacation. The hotel was immaculate. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very safe, appreciated the extra steps to keep access to our floors/rooms limited. Check-in/checkout was easy. Having the option to stock our fridge before arrival was a bonus. View from the room was only surpassed by the pool.

This pool is world class!! I've never seen a larger rooftop pool with the most epic views. Our room also had an amazing view. We had spectacular sunsets and a firework show every night. We loved the room too. It was modern but very comfortable. The bed was comfy and a ton of space. There was street noise when we went on the balcony, but we were prepared and brought our speaker. It was extremely walkable since there is a staircase on the right that leads to a sidewalk. We felt very safe. We walked almost everywhere, but Ubers were great for longer distances.

This building is brand new and beautiful. The pool is stunning. Our unit had two bathrooms and a pocket wall that essentially created a second bedroom. Some new building kinks to be worked out but overall a wonderful stay. Downside would be if you’re looking for somewhere quiet. The patio doors are not sealed and it will sound like a highway through the main living space all day (and night, if you’re using the daybed as a bedroom, which I was).

Realy fantastic pools and great rooms. Only issue for me was the mattress quality. The beds are for foreigners extremely hard. It’s like sleeping on the floor… no quality mattress. Checked and it was from Spring Air, which is known to be the bottom of the line cheap mattress. Does not reflect the quality of the Maxwell good experience I did enjoy.

The residence was beautiful! The rooftop pool was amazing! The negatives are the confusing elevator system and we could not enter our unit because the code wouldn’t work even after security tried to help, so we had to enter through bedroom sliding doors. The glass sliders in the main living area block out zero noise and it located on a 24/7 very busy street down the street from the hospital, so lots of ambulances. Also, there are no sidewalks on this busy street in front of the building, so you have to take a back staircase and go through a very skeptical area which is not comforting.
The residence was beautiful! The rooftop pool was amazing! This property speaks for itself in terms of location and beauty. The accordion doors to the balcony, the rooftop pool, the generous sized bedroom and bath, all make for a wonderful place to stay. A couple of feedback notes the balcony doors do not seal completely, and therefore are not soundproof. Being located on a major road means if you are sleeping in the front room, it is very loud. In the unit we stayed in (and not all are the same) we found the beds too firm for comfort and woke up with sore backs and hips. The SoHo house seems to rented out thru Maxwell Residences. The concierge service thru Maxwell House was excellent but there was the worst service at the SoHo House. We were told to drink our whole bottle of water we brought up to the pool or they would not give us a towel. This comes the day after we spent $300 on our pool bill. We didn’t realise they only wanted us to buy their a van Water, which is fine if that is the policy, but they were very very rude about it. The last day the elevators were broken. No one bothered to try and help us with our bags down eight flights of steps, didn’t tell the cab driver that was waiting in the lobby that the elevators were down and we were at a different place. Everyone just looked at us and was rude and offered no help.

My friends and I had an excellent stay during our quick weekend trip. We arranged for an airport pickup and they provided water and beer for our ride. (Tip: the driver is all the way outside the airport—do not fall for the transportation options just past customs!) Our room was beautiful and stocked with plenty of bottled and sparkling water for our stay. The pool is STUNNING and warm! We were allowed to have two additional friends visit and we all enjoyed the food, cocktails and excellent service. I’ll absolutely stay at Maxwell again. Thank you so much to our concierges, Damaris and Carlos!

My overall stay at this facility was a very good experience. The residence was clean and walkable to the main Zona Romantica area with all the great restaurants. I wouldn’t recommend for kids. My favorite part was the pool and view and the staff at the pool was amazing. Ulysses was our waiter during our pool stay and he’s great. I had trouble with trying to actually call the facility before my trip though and that was frustrating as only email or text was available and I wanted to speak to a real person. I didn’t understand until my arrival that this wasn’t a hotel and they don’t have a front desk person available 24/7 to help with any issues that may arise. Even though thankfully there weren’t any for me and my stay was excellent I would hate to be in a position where I can’t call for help in the middle of the night should I have a problem or question. Staff was amazing and the pool view is breathtaking.

The property was beautiful..the location was perfect, and Carlos did a fabulous job checking us in. He was very attentive and I’d give him a 5 star rating. There was a gentleman at the concierge named Eddy that I thought was very unprofessional and rude. I brought 2 Canadian friends that now live permanently in Puerto Vallarta to show them how beautiful the building was. They had no intention of staying longer than perhaps 1 hr. We were about to board the elevator when another concierge person asked that they sign in. I apologized since I completely forgot and we returned back to the front counter. My friends filled out the visitor sheet and then this Eddy person interrupted the conversation and said that they needed to leave their residence identification at the counter. My friends replied that they didn’t feel safe enough to leave their identification ….but offered that the concierge could take a picture of it. The checkin process is awkward waiting for someone to get us, the parking is difficult and getting around the place Can be challenging at first with the elevators. The rooftop pool was the highlight of our PV visit - we could've spent our entire vacation there. The property is on a busy street but we managed to get around on foot very well - location is central to lots of things around. There was some construction noise from the buildings nearby when we were out on the terrace but that's city living! Maxwell Staff was exceptional throughout. The Pool Bar staff was awesome. (The Valet/Front Desk staff could use some customer service help.) We'll definitely be back and stay here again!

This pool is world class!! I've never seen a larger rooftop pool with the most epic views. Our room also had an amazing view. We had spectacular sunsets and a firework show every night. We loved the room too. It was modern but very comfortable. The bed was comfy and a ton of space. There was street noise when we went on the balcony, but we were prepared and brought our speaker. It was extremely walkable since there is a staircase on the right that leads to a sidewalk. We felt very safe. We walked almost everywhere, but Ubers were great for longer distances.

The property itself is absolutely beautiful with the infinity pool on the roof overlooking the mountains in the back and the ocean in the front with the city all around. The unit was very large and well kept with beautiful furniture and finishings. The location was very close to everything in the Romantik Zone with a simple 10-15 minute walk. The Ubers were VERY cheap though if you don't want to walk. Unfortunately, if you like to walk everywhere, the street you must cross to get anywhere was VERY busy. This was difficult to leave the property and made it very loud to sit on the balconies or even inside the front of the property due to how busy the road was. Overall, the stay was wonderful!

We had a great stay! The room was clean and spacious and the pool was beautiful and cold. The only drawback we experienced was that the pool wasn’t serving a full menu and wouldn’t let us bring in anything else which makes hanging out there for a long time less inviting. Luckily the beach is close! We would stay here again and hope they can get the kitchen open.

The pool was so beautiful I could have spent the whole time up there but the only downside was you couldn’t bring your own snacks/drinks. You had to buy from their bar and it was expensive for what it was and they made my drink wrong twice. The food was fine, not great

Great place concierge team very professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend and come back to this property. Everyone at the property is very helpful and polite. Drinks at the pool are excellent! Only recommendation would be to have someone at the Main Street available to guide to the parking structure besides that everything was great!

Property was awesome. Staff from both Maxwell’s and the SOHO were friendly and attentive. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and the view was great from the pool and our balcony. We had some issues with our lock mechanism for one of our doors and our Conceirge got it sorted. The gym was incredible, clean, A/C and not busy. Only negatives would be that the elevators seemed to end up out of order often at this property, once leaving us to walk up the several flights of stairs with our groceries. Another thing that was minor bit of note was that the pool area has a bar and restaurant which was lovely but also meant we couldn’t have our own water bottles/containers up there. The service up there was awesome and we enjoyed our time up there but would maybe have spent more time there if we didn’t feel like we had to pay to be there. The other minor thing is that the Conceirge contact was via SMS and I only had data via e-SIM very minor but something to note All in all a great experience. We would absolutely stay at this property again. The amenities and the location were well worth it. And Maxwell collection seems to be a well oiled machine with lots of options.

We had a wonderful stay at Maxwell Residences at SOHO PV in Puerto Vallarta. The residence was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and very well located. The building and amenities were lovely, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy Puerto Vallarta.
