Very clean. Quiet after about 9-10pm. TINY elevator! Nice hot breakfast. Taxi arrives within 5min of front desk summoning them! Good location. Fabulous restaurant. Hard beds. Mini bar isn’t cold enough.

At first we were taken aback at its location down a long alley like street. However this is a hidden gem. It is very quaint and European. Their one elevator is big enough for only two people with few few bags. The bedroom we stayed in as bare but very clean. The queen bed was low to the floor. There was a cabinet for hanging clothes in and a large desk. The bathroom was fancy by American standards. However the shower/tub was an accident waiting to happen. It was very deep and difficult to climb in. The tub was slippery and in he middle was a metal hose curled up for a hand shower as an alternative to the shower head above. The windows have shutters but no screens which we found to be different. Clearly they don’t seem to have concerns of nighttime creepy crawlers trying to get in. We found it unusual that every time we went out we were required to leave our tasseled room key a the front desk and pick it up when we returned. There is a lovely little restaurant hidden to the side of the lobby. There was a simple breakfast offered each morning with simple but good fare. Apparently they do also serve dinner but we enjoyed eating out at the multiple street cafes at the end of the alley, the staff was rather formal but helpful when asked. I would definitely return for another stay if I ever visited Rome again.

Zentral gelegen, 5 Minuten zur Metro, 10 Minuten zur spanischen Treppe. Ruhiges Zimmer, sauber und freundlich Gutes Frühstück Schön gemachte Dachterrasse, Essen sehr gut. Ausblick aus dem Zimmer und von der Dachterrasse schrecklich.

Hotel was nice. Great location. Walkable to all attractions. The only negative would be there was only AC in your room only, not in the rest of the hotel, hallways or elevator. The AC in your room was great but it was very hot in the rest of the hotel. Staff were very kind.

Close to metro station yet on a quiet street. Close to major attractions like Trevi and Spanish steps. Welcoming staff. Good restaurant on premises. Great breakfast.

Hotellets läge är fantastiskt med ca 400 m till Spanska trappan och ca 500 m till Fontana di Trevi. Det var inget större fel på det rum vi bokade avseende storlek. Det fanns också en hygglig garderob som rymde de kläder vi hade med oss samt en ok frukost. MEN! Rummet såg inte ut som på bilderna. Sängen var under all kritik; stenhård som en läkarbrits och kudden (inte kuddarna) var tunna som handdukar. Det utlovades på bilderna en takterass som vi såg fram emot att avnjuta frukostkaffet på och/eller en kvällsdrink. Den var stängd och låst och någon annan uteplats att sitta på fanns inte. Stort minus. Vi kommer inte att boka detta hotell igen.

Authentic and charming spot in Rome! Everyone working here is customer service oriented making our stay great. We especially enjoyed the rooftop restaurant!

El hotel está en una muy buena ubicación , muy cercano a la plaza Barberini, es un edificio antiguo y no es una habitación cómoda ya que no contaba con smart TV y tuvimos que acceder por unas escaleras .Las habitaciones eran muy poco luminosas y bastante sucias.

Very nice hotel. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Morning breakfast was excellent. It was conveniently located and it felt very safe. The rooms were cozy and extremely clean.

We had the deluxe double room and it was a nice size. Bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. I deducted a star because of the following: bathroom was nice but it had a VERY high tub that was a little dangerous to get into and out of. A grab bar would help with that. Also the shower curtain was annoying in that it kept clinging to me. Putting it outside the tub was not possible without flooding the bathroom. Aside from that the hotel is very nice and a great location. Our room was very quiet but we were not facing the street. Breakfast was good. We stayed in February and the price was good though. I would stay here again though probably not in high season when prices are much higher.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. We really felt welcome. The room was small but clean. The bed was comfortable and the Á/C kept everything cool. The only downside is that the bathroom needs updating. There was a new shower head at one end, and a traditional, old style sticking out in the middle. Also, the shower curtain was mountain 3 inches inside the edge of the tub so it ended up being a very narrow space. Á huge long bathtub with little space for a shower. The corners of the bath tub had some mold to clean up too.

Hotel is locared within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Breakfast was good with plenty of selection. Room was noisy at night from street noise and sound proofing between rooms is poor. Room was also not particularly clean. There seemed to be a lack of good restaurants within walking distance and male staff in particular were unhelpful fulfilling requests.

Breakfast was pretty nice, and runs until 10:30AM daily. Rooms are unique, and reasonably spacious. Rooms were quiet, and you're able to block all light from the rooms with solid flat wooden shutters (like three layers of closures on the windows, helps with noise and light). House keeping does not annoy you. The TVs in the rooms are tiny. The key for the room is an old metal key, and you must leave it with the front desk whenever you leave, which is fine, but kind of annoying? They realized I was the only one staying in my room, so while I had two towels to start, they removed one set a day in... Kind of annoying, what if I needed another? Sure, I could ask for it, but, they could have just as easily left it in the room (like they did with an extra roll toilet paper). Daily house keeping was through, and nice. The beds are comfy, but firm (I like that). I would stay again, it's a good option. The area is very touristy, which is the main downside, but that can be said of much of Rome.

The room was VERY small but the location was perfect and the AC was amazing (they really blast it which is glorious to come home to).

5/5 would go back. Great location. Double shutters made it surprisingly quiet. Great buffet for breakfast. Rooms are spacious and MODERN (no weirdness with wiring or plumbing). Although nothing is cheap this summer, this place was a great value for the price compared to other hotels on this trip.

Loved it! Would stay here again. Charming old world boutique hotel in the best section of Rome (near Via Veneto). Classically Italian in all the right ways (decor, food, service). Walkable to all major sites plus near Metro stops. Quiet, charming street location. Reasonably priced too.

The rooms were clean. Although the first room (109) given to us did not have WiFi signal. This room is tucked in all the way on the back. Luckily we were able to get a different room with WiFi the following day. Breakfast was good. Hotel is walking distance to most tourist attractions.

Hotel is in a great location and is very comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet with hot and cold options and enjoyed it. My room was comfortable and quiet, but a bit small and no hot water one morning. Staff was helpful and attentive.

We stayed at Albergo Ottocento twice during our 2 weeks in Italy, the location is great close to main sites and the metro. The staff all friendly and helpful. When we came back for our 2nd stay, the front desk person said “welcome back” ! Great to be remembered with all of the people staying there. I would recommend Albergo Ottocento to anyone.

Great restaurant at the hotel location. A hundred steps to the Via Veneto. The night clerk, Alex, was the greatest. He helped us with a difficult lost luggage problem. He is one of those people whom you immediately trust and feel comfortable with. He is a true asset to the property. The entire Ottocento experience was a great pleasure.

The staff our outstanding in this hotel, they couldn’t have helped us more on our trip with our baby. We arrived at the hotel before check in and they had the room ready for us to get a sleep before exploring Rome.

This property was truly a home away from home. I have travelled extensively throughout Europe, and I have never come across staff, so friendly, organized, and so eager to help. As a wheelchair, user, I am often nervous when travelling in Europe due to small lifts and room size. The very next day after our booking, the hotel contacted us to make sure that this property would be a good fit, and if we had any questions along the way, they answered emails quick and efficiently. Which offered me such peace of mind that I knew I had chosen the right hotel. The rooms are immaculate, and the hotel itself is so quiet. All of their photos on Expedia, as well as on their website, were so identical to what I saw in real life that I can guarantee you will get what you see. Well, spending eight days in Rome we ate dinner at the restaurant in the hotel for all but one meal. And after eating out at a different restaurant, we decided that we weren’t going to eat anywhere else. The prices are just the same anywhere else you go, but the food and the service and the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. The continental breakfast at the hotel was delicious and well prepared and stocked every morning. My husband said that the cappuccino that they made for him in the morning was the best one he had throughout his time in Rome. The location was PERFECT! The walking distance to all the major attractions is ideal while staying at a quaint, clean and quiet hotel. Will be back!

The hotel has an excellent location. Central location and easy access to Metro, walking to shopping and dining areas. Staff is very professional, helpful and prompt.

The hotel is nicely located in a little street but very close to fontana di Trevi and the Spanish steps. You can reach everything by foot. The room was sufficient and clean. We enjoyed their breakfast. Barberini bus and metro stop very nearby. Safe area.

Staff were great and very helpful, especially at the frontdesk. Rooftop restaurant was excellent. Rooms need renovating urgently. Only had 1 plug socket and that was coming away from the wall. Bathroom door kept wedging open. Breakfast was very limited buy ok. Location was ok but uphill. Would I stay there again? Unlikely.

This place is great in every way. Location is excellent, located five blocks from Trevi fountain, one block to Barberini Plaza, three blocks to the Spanish steps. Also three blocks from Hard Rock which for me is a must when I travel. Metro one block away, Hop on Hop Off bus stop only one block away in front of Barberini Plaza, shopping and dining within steps. Beds are comfortable, very clean, quiet, good complimentary breakfast and the food in the hotel restaurant also good. They arranged our taxi to the airport at 2:00 am.

Staff spoke English and was very helpful. Breakfast option was very good. Absolutely loved the location. Everything is in walkable distance.

Pretty much next to the Barberini metro station, lots of buses too. Also very near major attractions. Breakfast was great and staff were very helpful and friendly

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were good and the rooftop restaurant was delicious. The hotel was clean. The pillows could have been fluffier for me but that is personal taste. We heard construction on our side of the hotel during the day but not too early or late. The side of the hotel my mother stayed on was very quiet. Overall great hotel and would stay again.

The hotel is near the old center ( 10 min walk) it is very clean and the breakfast is very good. A lot of chose. The diner is poor and expensive, because you pay extra for everything . We booked inclusive diner. Even your drinks costs extra, €5 for a Cola Zero. Allso for desert you pay extra. You can better eat in the center of Rome. The rooms are fine and super clean. The beds are very hard. Dont think you can sleep in. A lot of noise outside every night.
