Clean rooms, furniture in rooms is a little older/dated, the beds are mostly comfy though! Love the refillable water bottles w/ the filtered water that is available on each floor. Staff is amazing and professional and always help with the bags, check in and out is easy. Because it is in the hotel though parking is tough, make sure to plan accordingly ahead to make your parking arrangements & they sky train to the hotel. Or, valet parking which is ~70-75/night. I would give it 5 stars, but I truly do not feel the price for value is fair, just because it is in the hotel does not mean it needs to be 400-500/night when the rooms do not match that cost.

Checked in after flight from Zurich. Got a really good price, since we booked just before arriving. The meals are good. Our car was parked at a different hotel and was pre-paid for the duration we were away. Don't particularly like to park at the Fairmont since it is expensive and I don't want my car door-dinged in a tight parking area.

Our stay at the Fairmont Airport was excellent! Check-in was seamless. Our king room was really nice and it had a huge bathtub, which we enjoyed. We had a Nespresso machine to make our coffees as well as a bottle of filtered water. We had cocktails and appetizers at the hotel bar. A bit pricey but it was nice. We used the gym this morning. It was really nice! Quite big and nice machines! We will definitely come and stay here again! This was our third stay.

The towels and bathrobes were so worn out and rough like sandpaper I’ve stayed at the hotel easily over 100 times and can’t believe they would allow their towels etc to be presented. Always they have been so fluffy and appear almost brand new for nearly 500.00 a night I expected what I’ve always experienced and in Nov 25 it was the same but I didn’t mention. Fairmont spend some money on towels and such if I wanted sandpaper towels I’d stay at a 2 star hotel. Disgusted

The stay was very uncomfortable. The toilet was super low, almost toddler height, as was the vanity. We were in pain using them. Also, the lighting was overly complicated. The mattresses were not comfortable as well. Overall, it was not a great stay. We have been in multiple Fairmont hotels and while the lobby was nicely decorated for Christmas, the room was by far the least welcoming.

Room was perfect !! Huge window faces the tarmac runway so we could see planes taking off. Very quiet in the room at evening times. We didn’t even hear any planes taking off. Huge bathroom with stand alone tub and separate shower stall. Room service was excellent and on spot ! Will stay here again next time we are in Vancouver !

Was a long line up at midnight. Check in is slow per guest. Try Citizen M one time to see the difference. There you’re pre checked in. All you do is self-activate a room key and go to your room. Voilà!

Everyone was amazing. Room phone didn’t work, power outage the night I stayed as well as under cooked steak and confusion over my booking which left me room less while I waited and as well had someone from staff open my door with a key 15 mins before I was done my extra hour checkout time I was naked and not expecting them to barge into my room. But it was a lovely room of course it was 600 a night ❤️

After having our flight canceled, rebooked, delayed, and delayed again, our 10 hour travel day turned into a 27 hour travel day. The Fairmont YVR seems to cater to exhausted, and cranky travelers, and it was exactly what we needed after we landed. After i explained to the lovely front desk agent what happened, she immediately went into action to make sure all the guests that hadn't checked in yet, weren't forgotten about for their extremely late check in. Thank you again for the shower and nap before my next flight

Great hotel. Only trouble is that when you arrive from a domestic airport, it is about a 2 mile walk to the hotel. We decided to stay here for the proximity but in reality, taking a shuttle to another airport hotel would have been more convenient. Fairmont should provide a shuttle from the domestic terminal. We couldn’t even find signs to tell us which way to go….

I have stayed at several Fairmont properties and have always loved the brand. This stay at the Vancouver Airport location was, in many ways, spectacular. The room was absolutely beautiful with wonderful linens, and the amenities—the soaps and lotions specifically—were fantastic. I also have to rave about the in-room dining; the setup was perfect and the food was truly amazing. The only reason I’m not giving this a perfect score was the initial check-in. Unlike the warm welcome I received at the Marriott earlier in my trip, I felt like my arrival was an inconvenience to the staff member at the desk. I felt a bit like I was 'annoying' them just by checking in, which was a disappointing start to an otherwise lovely stay. Given my history with Fairmont, I’m sure this was just a one-off, but it was a noticeable contrast to the excellence found in the rest of the hotel's service

The staff was amazing, answering every question. We dropped luggage very early after a cruise, took the ferry to Victoria and came back to find our luggage waiting in our room. Very clean room with extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Layout of the room and bath are very practical, convenient. Dinner in their restaurant was nice. Tables are awkwardly short, but the staff, food and live music was very good. The morning of our 6 am flight could not have been better!
