We missed a connecting flight and had to stay overnight at the Vancouver Airport and stayed at the Fairmont. The Fairmont is very convenient as its right in the airport and you don't have to get a shuttle or even walk outside. The person at the check in desk was super helpful and friendly. We told him our flight was scheduled at 6 am and he told us exactly what time to check in (4:30 am ugh) for our flight but he was spot on as the security line was a bit long. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was very nice and clean. The bed was also very comfortable and the shower had good water pressure and plenty of nice towels. The room was also super quiet even though located at the airport. We also took the train from the airport into downtown Vancouver which was also very convenient and the person at the front desk gave us great instructions on how to get the train. This was our second time staying at the Vancouver Airport Fairmont as the first time a few years ago, our flight was delayed several hours until midnight and so we were able to relax in a room for a few hours.
