Dès l'arrivée, avec le service de valet et un accueil très chaleureux des voituriers ainsi que de la réceptionniste, nous avons été charmés par l'hotel le Quintessence. La piscine infinie et le jacuzzi sont très invitants et la chambre très spacieuse ont fait de notre expérience un succès. Nous reviendrons assurément.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of a couple of weeks touring around Quebec. The hotel is stunning. The setting is beautiful. The staff were so welcoming and so friendly. The room was huge and so well equipped. Having a wood burning fire in a hotel room was such a treat. And sitting in a hot tub looking out at the frozen lake and snowy mountains was fab. Dined in the restaurant on our second night. Our server was lovely. The food was delicious - have the prime rib, you won’t regret it. Basically, it was so perfect, we didn’t want to leave and we will absolutely go back one day.

The food was great; we ate here three times. Close to the mountain and ski area with lots of hiking paths near by. Nespresso coffee pods and real half and half was nice. The spa and gym were nice with hot tub overlooking the infinity pool and lake and sauna. The duvet smelled a bit like cleaning material (maybe recently laundered) but it was not a big problem. It would have been great if they had an arborist trim the trees. We paid for a lakeview room, but the trees were so thick you only got peekaboo views of the lake. I would have loved a few additional amenities like bikes to use, kayaks or paddleboards.

Superbe hôtel au bord du lac. Mention spécial pour a piscine à débordement et le bain bouillonnant avec vue sur le lac. Personnel au petits soins (mention spécial à notre sommelier) et soirée très romantique sur la terrasse. La chambre est à la hauteur avec son balcon sur le lac. Nous n'avons qu'une envie, y retourner.

What we liked - everything. What we wished for when we left - staying another night. Quintessence Hotel is aptly named. Accommodations/ room was fabulous. Service is attentive, personal and friendly. Amenities are great. A memorable break made more so by this exquisite hotel. Can't wait to come back.

Adoramos o hotel. Muito bonito com uma vista espetacular. O quarto era bem espaçoso com linda lareira e banheira. O bar do hotel e legal . Adequado para casais. O cafe da manha foi 29 dolares por pessoa. Bem saboroso. Não jantamos no hotel pois os preços são muito altos. Infelizmente a piscina não é aquecida e a sauna a vapor estava em manutenções. O spa é fraco. A carta de vinhos boa.

Hotel Quintessence is without a doubt one of the most exquisite hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying. I can not say enough about the beautiful rooms, comfortable lay out, and cleanliness. But what makes this place truly special is the staff. Everyone from the parking attendant to the front desk to the spa was so incredibly friendly, accomidating, and helpful. My wife and I came here for a babymoon but I have no doubt this will become a regular visit for us. Hotel Quintessence is the truest 5 star hotel there is.

The service here was impeccable. The property is well maintained, safe and clean. I do wish they would limit the age of guests to over 12 or so. I do not like to hear children yelling at 7 AM or at any time for that matter. Otherwise, great place and I plan to return as soon as I can.

We had the most incredible stay at the Hotel Quintessence! It’s in great location, cozy, and steps from the village. The rooms are simply marvelous… spacious, with a huge fire place and bathroom. Bath tube and shower are separate. The beds are comfy and with top linens. But we saved the best for last… but he services!! You don’t know what great services are, until you stay at the Hotel Quintessence. Very special thanks to the reception/ concierge, Sabrina/ Léa!! But honestly everyone was so great (it not even fair I don’t mention their names as well) — but I’m terrible with remembering names… sorry. Thanks so much, guys!!

This was a gorgeous property, close to the village without being in it, which I prefer. Service and staff were outstanding. Even though it was a quiet week, I didn't get the sense that they cut back on amenities and service. The on-site restaurant was excellent. Loved our lake view of the room.
