Blev uppgraderade utan kostnad. Rum 5305. Stort och fint rum. Bra ac, badrum och kök. Även vardagsrumsdel med soffor, bord och tv. Personalen var så fina och vår dotters vistelse på hotellet. Aktiviteter i form av skumpsrty var väldigt uppskattat. Även bra fri transfer till kata beach. Tyvärr var det långt att gå till stranden då det ligger ett annat hotell emellan.

My family and i loved our stay here staff went above and beyond.. my wife has a prosthetic leg and the staff were so accommodating set us up on a easy acces room put non slip.mats through the room and chair in the shower... the staff were amazing and always had a smile lots of great activities like bingo by the pool and heaps of games for the kids around the pool .... the buffet breakfast is top notch and the food in general delicious... the 3 pools super clean and perfect for a play for the kids or relax for the adults... kids club was fun my daughter begged us to go Daily and the staff in there were super caring...overall fabulous experience location is perfect lots of cool local food and massage places for mum and dad all within walking distance... best experience ive had for a long time at a resort... we cant wait to return and highly recommend centara....

We loved how family friendly this hotel was. The buffet had a kid station and the pool facilities were great as they had shallow and deep sections and a waterslide. We were a little let down by a few things- closure of the kids splash pad (currently under construction), water turn-off dates (between 9-11am one day without notice) which meant no flushing toilets or showers for the family, and being overcharged for items at the restaurant. Having to bring up issues with staff really took away from our experience at Centara Kata. We did like the hotel overall as it had good sized rooms, good pool facilities and lovely grounds, but the lack of communication from service staff about promotions or closures meant that we couldn't rate it higher.

Tolle Anlage die vor allem für Kinder viel zu bieten hat. Das Personal sehr effizient und zuvorkommend. Leider nicht die Rezeption. Marc und sein Team beim Frühstück waren einfach nur grossartig. Frühstücksbuffet war super. Sehr vielfältig und immer aufgefüllt. Auch zu Stosszeiten haben die Mitarbeiter sehr Schnelltische aufgeräumt, so dass neue Gäste Platz nehmen konnten. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit zwei kleinen Kindern direkt neben dem Tischtennistisch, das war natürlich etwas ungünstig, so dass die Kinder nie wirklich gut durchschlafen konnten. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Zum Beispiel gab es keinen zentral Lichtschalter. Sonst aber alles super! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Hadde et fint opphold. Svært hyggelig personale, behjelpelige dersom det skulle være noe og oppmerksomme på gjestene, vi følte oss godt ivaretatt. Fasilitetene var fine og barnevennlige. Pluss for at det var 3 bassenger, og man kan velge hvor man vil oppholde seg og hva man foretrekker mest ulike dager. Velholdt hage, gartnere som holder uteområdene i god stand daglig. Sengene og sengetøyet var komfortabelt. Rommene var noe godt brukt og litt slitt, men rene. AC fungerte godt, men noe bråkete. De var flinke til å arrangere ting for gjestene med buffetkvelder, skumparty i bassenget, aktiviteter for barna, happy hour, smakstesting av diverse mat etc. God frokost, mye utvalg og internasjonalt, stort pluss at de lager omelett eller steker eggene slik man foretrekker. Egen barnestasjon med diverse så barna kan forsyne seg selv, det var stas for de små. Hyggelige og oppmerksomme vakter på hotellet. Gangavstand til strendene Kata og Kata Noi. Sentral beliggenhet, har det meste av det man ønsker med shopping, restauranter, massasje ++ i gatene like ved. Anbefales, ypperlig for barnefamilier, ville definitivt kommet tilbake på et senere tidspunkt!

The positive things: helpful and polite staff, from cleaners, to kitchen, security and receptionists. Multiple pools to choice from, nice to have transport service to Kata Beach. Pleasant breakfast area, maybe a bit crowded around 9 pm. They closed the kids pool due to renovation during our stay, which was needed due to heavy usage, but sad for the kids. The usage of the hotel is noticeable to the rooms, pool areas and gym. Our room shower didn't really have any pressure, so that was an issue if a whole family (5) needs to use a shower that also was very hot/cold sensitive if you adjust temperature, meanwhile you had good outdoor pressure in the pool showers. Dust was noticeable in the gym in the corners. If you want 5-star you should take another hotel, but if you want an above average hotel with closeness to restaurants and other services found in Kata we recommend a stay at Kata.

Compact, kids' paradise (Great pools) and everything in the resort is accessible in 2min walk (especially from the family suites!) and the resort itself is all just 2min walk from a great selection of local and international restaurants, with the main Kata bustle another 5 minutes walk past those... plus lots of nearby laundry services (60Bht/kg), shops (t shirts, hats and bags mostly) and 5min to the supermarket. The golf course cuts EVERYTHING in Kata of from the beach, which is a real pity, but the beach is only 2 minutes in the complimentary shuttle bus or about 10min walk if you want get down there for the 9am wave machine opening time, which is highly recommended! Speaking of recommendations; the very busy Eight Fold restaurant right at the hotel barrier does a fantastic mix of "kid friendly" spaghetti Bolognese and authentic Thai dishes, the pizza restaurant 200 metres up the road on the left does the best stone baked pizzas ("better than Pizza Express" - which is the kids' benchmark of a decent pizza) and Cafe Oh-O* in Palm Square (also <1 min away from the hotel) came out a little more pricey, but because they do really cheap, good sushi and LOTS of other stuff too, especially their cake selection.... and then another 1 min past Palm Sq is "Lost in Phuket" for great burgers and the best value, well cooked steak in Phuket (but no Thai food). *Café Oh-O was fantastic for all but 1 of our visits: the normal staff were really attentive, but we had 1 bad a Tuesday lunch

Väldigt trevlig och serviceminded personal på restaurang och poolbaren. Bra frukost med stort utbud. Vi hade ett rum med terass, luktade illa från regn avloppet och var en hel del mygg. Städningen var inte alls bra.

This property was very nice. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. We had a garden view suite and were able to walk right out to the pool. Staff at reception were good and maintenance staff fixed our hall light which wasn't working when we checked in due to electrical issues. Our only issue was the housekeeping staff which gave inconsistent service. One day they didn't come at all and we had to phone the front desk at 5:00 and ask if we could get more water as the hotel supplies 2 bottles per day. Also towels were sometimes stained which didn't mean they weren't clean but still for an upscale place this should not happen. Pool towels were often stained as well.

Personnel gentille il y’a 3 picine a vous de choisir ou vous voulez aller plutôt calme ou plutôt avec du bruit, dans l’ensemble tout est assez bien mais si vous cherchez du luxe c’est pas du tout l’endroit pour… Les cocktails sont tous pas bon avec des mélange bizarre ce sont pas des vrai cocktail et la nourriture pareil le buffet était très cher pour rien c’était les vraiment pas bon le riz même était sec de plus même à la carte du restaurant les pâtes à la sauce que j’ai pris était sucrée … niveau nourriture c’est à revoir, Les chambres bonjour les moustiques. Aucun produit anti moustique dans les chambres et ça sent le mieux et l’humidité on a demandé à changer de chambre qui était un peu mieux mais sans plus les meuble sont tres vieux y’a que la salle de bain qui passe mais bon malgré ça nous avons fini notre séjour a voire aussi que les piscines ne sont pas nettoyé tout les jours l’espèce enfants le matin très tôt yavais beaucoup de saleté . Les chambres était nettoyé tout les jours comme il faut et les espaces commun

I wasn't sure what to expect but Centara was a nice surprise. This is not a five-star resort but it is comfy and has the nicest staff. The room is not fancy but I slept well every night and it's clean. Breakfast had lots of options, all good. This is a place I would stay again.

Det var mye kloakklukt så fort vi tok opp utgangdøren til rommet , verandaen var aldri vasket , glassene på rommet ble ikke hver gang vasket .dårlig at det ikke ble skiftet oftere på sengen . Frokostpersonalet var blide og hyggelige .

古いホテルです。部屋には常に数匹蚊が飛んでいて、息子は寝ている間に何十箇所も刺され、翌日は痛みで海を楽しめませんでした。対策を相談したら蚊よけの機械に置くシートを渡されましたが、その機械は部屋の机の引き出しの中にあり、それがあることの説明は事前に説明しておくべきです。もしくは最初から蚊よけの対策をしておいてください。息子は帰国後も病院に通っています。 また、タオルの交換はサステナブルの観点から行わないようですが、コップやカトラリーも洗われず、使い捨てスリッパ、歯ブラシも交換されません。 安いホテルならまだしも、１泊7万円を支払ってこのサービスは不満が残ります。

Blev uppgraderade utan kostnad. Rum 5305. Stort och fint rum. Bra ac, badrum och kök. Även vardagsrumsdel med soffor, bord och tv. Personalen var så fina och vår dotters vistelse på hotellet. Aktiviteter i form av skumpsrty var väldigt uppskattat. Även bra fri transfer till kata beach. Tyvärr var det långt att gå till stranden då det ligger ett annat hotell emellan.

Room was big but the AC was garbage. We were uncomfortably hot the whole time. Everything was dusty and there was mold all over the bathroom and everything smelled like mold, even the tissues. The location is good, not too far of a walk to Kata Beach. Would not stay here again.

Tolle Anlage die vor allem für Kinder viel zu bieten hat. Das Personal sehr effizient und zuvorkommend. Leider nicht die Rezeption. Marc und sein Team beim Frühstück waren einfach nur grossartig. Frühstücksbuffet war super. Sehr vielfältig und immer aufgefüllt. Auch zu Stosszeiten haben die Mitarbeiter sehr Schnelltische aufgeräumt, so dass neue Gäste Platz nehmen konnten. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit zwei kleinen Kindern direkt neben dem Tischtennistisch, das war natürlich etwas ungünstig, so dass die Kinder nie wirklich gut durchschlafen konnten. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Zum Beispiel gab es keinen zentral Lichtschalter. Sonst aber alles super! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Absolutely beautiful staff and great location. Food was great in the resort and was amazing hospitality. Location great and family friendly. Only disappointing thing was had 5 guests and had to book two seperate rooms not joined. Ended up in one room with the other empty at twice the cost. The 2 bedroom wasn't available. The 1 bedroom could easily accommodate 5 guests and we had to pay for 2. It's a great option for families and the staff are amazing. The pools great for everyone. We had a lovely stay

As much as this resort is a beautiful hotel with a best in class atmosphere, it would be a facade if not for the outstanding staff. The staff we encountered, in particular the towel lady at the bar pool , the pool bar staff, the security staff, our room cleaning ladies and of course the very nice man at the front taxi/van entrance who always greeted us with warm friendly conversation and assistance, takes customer service to a level above expectations. We will most certainly stay here again given the chance. J wood

Okay hotel but nothing special, the positive is the friendly staff but the hotel needs a update in general I was there 17 night's and the electricity was not working 3 of the day's and also there was no water in my room 3 other days. Every time there was a problem with either the electricity or water in my room the staff fixed it within 4-7 hours 😁 in general a okay hotel but I would find another if I should go to that area another time

We loved how family friendly this hotel was. The buffet had a kid station and the pool facilities were great as they had shallow and deep sections and a waterslide. We were a little let down by a few things- closure of the kids splash pad (currently under construction), water turn-off dates (between 9-11am one day without notice) which meant no flushing toilets or showers for the family, and being overcharged for items at the restaurant. Having to bring up issues with staff really took away from our experience at Centara Kata. We did like the hotel overall as it had good sized rooms, good pool facilities and lovely grounds, but the lack of communication from service staff about promotions or closures meant that we couldn't rate it higher.

The Centara Kata Resort is a great hotel with lovely, helpful and friendly staff, but I simply can't give it more stars because if you have young children, the hotel facilities are *dangerous*. :( The main swimming pool is very appealing to children as it has a splash pad and a water slide. However - worryingly, the pool randomly changes from shallow (100cm) to deep (130cm) with no markings (other than a mosaic-style numbering which is flush with the ground beside the pool and is oriented outward, so you can't read it from inside the pool anyway. There's nothing in the pool to indicate a change in depth (some pools have different coloured tiles to indicate a depth change) and this is not helped by the irregular shape of the pool. Our daughter loves diving under the water to grab toys from the bottom and pretending to be a mermaid. We don't make her wear a floaty if she's in her depth as she wouldnt have much fun. On our first day, we were all in the pool and she was in her depth, but was moving along the side of the pool. She got to the fake rocks by the slide and was using those to move along the pool, and none of us realised the pool had got deeper. Her hands slipped and she went straight under the water, completely submerged. Thank god my husband saw her, because i was holding our other daughter and had my back to her. He managed to grab her and pull her up. I told the receptionist, who promised to ask the GM to contact me, but he never didn't. :(

Very good location and relaxing area to stay. Pool is good 👍 and there is a gym. Its a 10 min walk to beautiful kata beach, and easy to walk to karon beach or kata noi. Lots of food options close by.

Hadde et fint opphold. Svært hyggelig personale, behjelpelige dersom det skulle være noe og oppmerksomme på gjestene, vi følte oss godt ivaretatt. Fasilitetene var fine og barnevennlige. Pluss for at det var 3 bassenger, og man kan velge hvor man vil oppholde seg og hva man foretrekker mest ulike dager. Velholdt hage, gartnere som holder uteområdene i god stand daglig. Sengene og sengetøyet var komfortabelt. Rommene var noe godt brukt og litt slitt, men rene. AC fungerte godt, men noe bråkete. De var flinke til å arrangere ting for gjestene med buffetkvelder, skumparty i bassenget, aktiviteter for barna, happy hour, smakstesting av diverse mat etc. God frokost, mye utvalg og internasjonalt, stort pluss at de lager omelett eller steker eggene slik man foretrekker. Egen barnestasjon med diverse så barna kan forsyne seg selv, det var stas for de små. Hyggelige og oppmerksomme vakter på hotellet. Gangavstand til strendene Kata og Kata Noi. Sentral beliggenhet, har det meste av det man ønsker med shopping, restauranter, massasje ++ i gatene like ved. Anbefales, ypperlig for barnefamilier, ville definitivt kommet tilbake på et senere tidspunkt!

Compact, kids' paradise (Great pools) and everything in the resort is accessible in 2min walk (especially from the family suites!) and the resort itself is all just 2min walk from a great selection of local and international restaurants, with the main Kata bustle another 5 minutes walk past those... plus lots of nearby laundry services (60Bht/kg), shops (t shirts, hats and bags mostly) and 5min to the supermarket. The golf course cuts EVERYTHING in Kata of from the beach, which is a real pity, but the beach is only 2 minutes in the complimentary shuttle bus or about 10min walk if you want get down there for the 9am wave machine opening time, which is highly recommended! Speaking of recommendations; the very busy Eight Fold restaurant right at the hotel barrier does a fantastic mix of "kid friendly" spaghetti Bolognese and authentic Thai dishes, the pizza restaurant 200 metres up the road on the left does the best stone baked pizzas ("better than Pizza Express" - which is the kids' benchmark of a decent pizza) and Cafe Oh-O* in Palm Square (also <1 min away from the hotel) came out a little more pricey, but because they do really cheap, good sushi and LOTS of other stuff too, especially their cake selection.... and then another 1 min past Palm Sq is "Lost in Phuket" for great burgers and the best value, well cooked steak in Phuket (but no Thai food). *Café Oh-O was fantastic for all but 1 of our visits: the normal staff were really attentive, but we had 1 bad a Tuesday lunch

Our stay was really great. I can only recommend staying here when you're in Phuket. It's in the middle of Kata. The bus (which costs 100 baht) can be taken 20 meters away from the hotel and goes directly to Patong and the airport. The multiple pools is also something that's great. The food is excellent. I can also only recommend to stay for the dinnershows.

Personnel gentille il y’a 3 picine a vous de choisir ou vous voulez aller plutôt calme ou plutôt avec du bruit, dans l’ensemble tout est assez bien mais si vous cherchez du luxe c’est pas du tout l’endroit pour… Les cocktails sont tous pas bon avec des mélange bizarre ce sont pas des vrai cocktail et la nourriture pareil le buffet était très cher pour rien c’était les vraiment pas bon le riz même était sec de plus même à la carte du restaurant les pâtes à la sauce que j’ai pris était sucrée … niveau nourriture c’est à revoir, Les chambres bonjour les moustiques. Aucun produit anti moustique dans les chambres et ça sent le mieux et l’humidité on a demandé à changer de chambre qui était un peu mieux mais sans plus les meuble sont tres vieux y’a que la salle de bain qui passe mais bon malgré ça nous avons fini notre séjour a voire aussi que les piscines ne sont pas nettoyé tout les jours l’espèce enfants le matin très tôt yavais beaucoup de saleté . Les chambres était nettoyé tout les jours comme il faut et les espaces commun

Absolutely beautiful staff and great location. Food was great in the resort and was amazing hospitality. Location great and family friendly. Only disappointing thing was had 5 guests and had to book two seperate rooms not joined. Ended up in one room with the other empty at twice the cost. The 2 bedroom wasn't available. The 1 bedroom could easily accommodate 5 guests and we had to pay for 2. It's a great option for families and the staff are amazing. The pools great for everyone. We had a lovely stay

It was OK. It's looking a bit tired in places and it's not a grand beach centara but overall for the price it was OK. A few points to raise. We indulged in the seafood buffet on a Thursday evening. Apparently "eat as much as you can" - this was not the case we were served 1 squid, 6 or 7 prawns when more prawns were requested we waited for 30 minutes another waitress bought a squid to our table so we asked again but they never arrived so we left.... Staff too interested in looking after large tipping guests, which is a shame. Our child loved the pools so that kind of made up for our so called seafood buffet!

The positive things: helpful and polite staff, from cleaners, to kitchen, security and receptionists. Multiple pools to choice from, nice to have transport service to Kata Beach. Pleasant breakfast area, maybe a bit crowded around 9 pm. They closed the kids pool due to renovation during our stay, which was needed due to heavy usage, but sad for the kids. The usage of the hotel is noticeable to the rooms, pool areas and gym. Our room shower didn't really have any pressure, so that was an issue if a whole family (5) needs to use a shower that also was very hot/cold sensitive if you adjust temperature, meanwhile you had good outdoor pressure in the pool showers. Dust was noticeable in the gym in the corners. If you want 5-star you should take another hotel, but if you want an above average hotel with closeness to restaurants and other services found in Kata we recommend a stay at Kata.

Our room was not available for the first night so they placed us in another resort which had nice views but away from the crowds. Happy to get back to the hotel we booked closer to shops. Staff were great.
