The room was very clean upon entering. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. The security deposit of $100, was refunded promptly after checking out. There is plenty of room for parking, however, the pavement is in need of some spot repairs. Overall, a very good, 1 night stay.

This is a TERRIBLE place. The tub was cracked and had paint flaking off of the inside. There was a spider in the room. We had to ASK for our trash to be emptied. When we requested clean towels at 8:45 am we were told housekeeping was not in until 9 and to call back. When we returned. we were told that maintenance would bring them in about 30 minutes or so. Finally had to go to front desk lobby to get them ourselves. Parking lot is full of major potholes.

The place was a dive. Looked rundown and rusted on the outside. Room was clean and king-size bed was comfortable. Door to bathroom could not close, bathroom not in good shape. Very small amount of toilet paper(like 1/8 roll) all that was in bathroom. When I called front desk to ask for more, they told me to come down and get it myself. Room safe did not work. The only vending machine available was out of order. I would not recommend this place at all.

The rooms are in need of an upgrade. Towel Rack was broken, chair was damaged, elevator didn’t work at times - and my daughter was on crutches. Coffee maker didn’t work either. Not worth the money.

The room was clean and felt ok. However, there was heat coming from above which was a little annoyingnwhen trying to feel AIR from the AC unit. The elevator did not always work (with 3 floors). The staff got on the elevator with me qith a basket of dirty linens...i was assuming he was taking it to the first floor laundry room, but instead, he got off of the elevator and sent the basket down with me! Rusted metal from the balconies were chipping off and falling down to ground below. And they were doing some remodeling to the outside of the hotel...not generally a.problem...but they had all of the Windows on the 3rd floor covered with brown paper and painters tape. This was a weekend stay...so they were not doing any remodeling work, but left up all of the paper on the windows. We peeled our paper off :-) .But after ALL THAT...i must say that the room was clean, all anemities provided, no noise issues, and I slept well...bed seemed springy...but comfortable. But for the price...I was grateful to fund a bargain for my buck.

Very basic hotel—not many frills—-no continental breakfast, but coffee at front desk 24 hrs/day. A/C cooled but did not seem to dehumidify well. Beds were comfortable. Had an electrical problem with hairdryer outlet. Some one came up but did not fix it as it was about 8 pm that we got in. We were there for 3 nights. Hopefully, they’ve fixed it once we left. Were able to remove the hair dryer from the wall and use bit in another outlet. It was clean; had an iron and board; a lockbox for valuables. Decent quality for the price and convenient for our purposes. Quiet room.

The property was very quiet, but parking seemed to be a slight issue b/c all spaces on my side were full. I had to park on a 2nd level & then pull my suitcase down to the hotel & THEN pull it up the stairs to the 2nd floor. I had reserved a king room, but got a room with 2 dbl beds. That being said, the room & beds were very comfortable. Staff was friendly

Toilet was full of tobacco. There was something in the beds. Room was supposed to be smoke free and smelled strongly of smoke. Used soaps in the bathroom, all the towels were wet and on the floor. I dont know if the room wasnt turned over or if the cleaning staff did this but someone definitely showered and smoked in our room. I complained and they did not refund my deposit.

Parking was fine. Dirty parking lot. Trash all over lot. But I felt safe, Room was presentable at first glance. But from moment we walked in our room......the smell was horrible. I had to go buy some air freshener spray to help eliminate the order. And I used it quite a bit during our 2 day stay, The floor (carpet) was dirty and sticky, and had to wear socks or keep our shoes on. The employees were nice, and helpful. Air conditioning was great. Bathroom was dirty and toilet seat was not attached to toilet and it was wrong size for the actual toilet too. There were 2 spiders in bathtub, And shower curtain full of orange mold. Was disgusting. Bed was clean and comfortable. We could not figure out how to use the tv so we went without watching it. In the past I was satisfied here, but I wont be back. This was just to much filth! Desk area was all sticky, sink area was clean. Had to ask for towels an toilet paper. Good thing we got that! Only 1 light bulb in a 2 light bulb lamp. Lighting was dim now we know why. Was nice to have a frig and microwave, some of our family did not in their rooms. Overall was a bit pricey for the actual stay. Any other time I would say nice and affordable. Not this time, order was just more than I could stand. The paint job in that room was horrible too. Looked like it was just thrown on there. Very sloppy!

While a budget option, providing sanitary and safe conditions would be a bare minimum. The room had a strong odor of animals, the floor was very sticky. There were many individuals loitering in groups in the parking lots. The front desk was unapologetic about the conditions, said he was unable to issue any discount since it was booked through Expedia, that I could request it through Expedia and he would approve it. Contacted expedia, any refund was denied. Expedia unable to help, tried to offer me One Key credit of $25, which would give them additional business before I would get any benefit.

When I checked in the lady was on the phone. I had to wait like 10 minutes to check in. After that I was given a dirty room. I had to go back and the next room was worse. The tub was old and with mold and mildew. The refrigerator didn't work and the AC was warm not cold. Do not stay here it's not worth the price.

Right away you could tell the floors were not vacuumed or mopped. It literally looked like they came in changed the bedding and added new towels. There was old towels still hangung up in the bathroom and there was blood smeared on the door frame. For a smoke free room, our bedding had cigarette burns in them.

We were very disappointed. The AC unit is very noisy, we had to wear earplugs to help us sleep. The door lock doesnt latch. I told the manager about it, he told me not to worry ‘cause there are survelance cameras. So we pushed a chair against the door for more security. The towels were all dirty, the hair dryer had stains, the toilet bowl had stains and the floors were dirty. Also had a musty smell. This was our first time staying in Redroof. For sure we will never again stay in a Redroof in. And this was a Redroof plus, I couldnt imagine how a regular Redroof would look like.

Room was very hot even with heat turned off for 2 days. Non smoking room, smelled like smoke. Mattresses and pillows worn out, in desperate need of replacing. Main room was as shown in photos, clean and modern. Bathroom wasn't as nice, cracks in the wall and shower. Will choose other accommodations in the future.

The mattress was so bad I could feel the springs inside: zero support. The A/C was noisy, ran constantly and the room never got comfortable or cool. The shower nozzle was unscrewed (I tightened it) and the sink faucet was loose in its’ hole. It was relatively clean and smelled neutral.

The shower head sprayed in the shower but also leaked where the head attached, causing a stream to spray out into the bathroom. The bed was worn so it caused you only to lay in one spot or you rolled into the worn spot. The air conditioning wasn't very cool and made loud noises.

The room was just OK. Clean but just old. After traveling I just wanted to relax and watch some TV. FRUSTRATING experience. Instructing me to download something on to my iPhone. I don’t think so! But I finally figured out where the controls were on the back of the tv. Grateful for the iron to freshen up some packed clothes for the rest of my Pittsburgh visit. The shower was wonderful — full and hot.

The beds were comfortable and tv was good. I liked that we had a mini fridge. Fairly clean. The bathroom sink didn’t drain, very slow drain which was funky. we had trouble with the room key card not opening the door. But it was ok. Staff was nice.

I have stayed here before (several times) and the location is what I needed. This time the door lock to the room tested my patience. Standing at the door for 5 minted (the longest time) trying to unlock the door is not what I expected. Each time the management would reinstall the access, but it’s not the card, but the door lock mechanism that is defective… inserting / pulling out the door card key over a hundred times in 5 minutes does not endear me to this location. Each time I left - I wondered would I be able to get back in…

This place needs an update, looks like it hasn't been touched since the 90's. Room wasn't real clean, toilet handle was falling off-I fixed it, neighbors were so loud we had to change rooms. I will never come to a Red Roof again.

The room A/C unit was incredibly LOUD when running on low cool. LOUD. Flapper vent was broken and didn’t angle upward. I paid for Deluxe 2 full beds but the room did not have a mini fridge nor a microwave oven. Paper cups instead of plastic.

I have been staying here last 3 years for tattoo convention NEVER again its under new management and they find it ok to keep deposits with no reasons. When you call they hang up on you and say your room may have smelled like smoke i stated i do not smoke altho my room was by a ashtray stand smh and then said maybe damages ok what damages i wasnt there but to sleep again not stating any damage i asked send me pictures again hangs up... there were not damages and no smoke ... will never stay there again

There is a sign out front that says new rooms. The rooms were far from new. The individual working the front desk was far from friendly, it could be that the people he checked in before me were difficult. I do not like the policy that you have to tell them that you did not use the safe for them to take the $2 fee off your credit card. The room was small and smelled of stale cigarettes. All of which I could have lived with but the major problem was a weird brown streak running down the wall of the bathroom. I did not want to think what it could be. The whole room just didn't seem like it was clean. It was a cheap hotel but I would have hoped for a cleaner room.

Check in was not pleasant, staff acted as if i was an inconvenience to them. When we got back to our room our remote would not work. I called the front desk to correct the problem. The staff, Nikki, said i would have to come get a new one. When iasked why i should be inconvenvienced and why she couldnt bring it she hung up. I went to the desk to address this and tell her i didnt spoteciate her h a ngong up on me. I told her i am the customer and she yelled at me and told me i wasnt HER customer. I have stayed at this property many times and have never before dealt with this fro. Staff. Debating whether to stay there again.

I didn’t stay, me and my spouse entered and were approached by someone that was clearly on drugs. Even before we were assisted people were coming back because their cards didn’t work. When we reached the front after waiting 20 minutes we were told we had to pay an extra $75 that wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the site. The front desk woman was very rude and not understanding with us. I was on the website and I’m nothing was stated about the extra deposit and even if so no receipt could be provided. It was unprofessional so we left, and she also said she canceled my room. But since you’re asking, here ya go. :)

The condition of the hotel property wasn’t kept up and the hotel building is rusted and unclean. There were people outside of the property standing around down in the bushes, drinking beer in the back of a truck and that made me feel unsafe as well as the secluded location of the hotel. I requested a refund and went to a different hotel.

We pulled into parking lot. The hotel looksl ike it is filled with homeless. Half the exterior doors were wide open and people just walking in and out of room. Went into lobby snd walked out. Did not even check in. I would not put myself or my family into this hotel. Even in daylight did not feel safe in parkingl ot.

It was sufficient for a night stay but probably would not spend an extended time there. The walls and bathroom door had crayon marks. The area is very congested and I didn't realize when I booked that for an overnight stay while on a road trip that it would take me an hour to get out of Pittsburgh!

Overall a very good value for the price considering other similar properties. It was nice having someone that actually follows procedure of Expedia. The only negative was there seems to be some transits or other hanging around parking area. They did not act threatening or other but not best optic for the business or guests. I would use them again.

The room was decent, clean. The only issue was the hair dryer had an electrical short and when you turned it on, it began to smoke badly. We were afraid that it would set off the smoke detector in the room before we could unplug it. I reported it to the front desk, but they seemed indifferent about it. Also had to track down housekeeping to replenish the coffee service in the room. They didn't refill it after cleaning the room. They gave us the wrong kind of pods and we had to improves it to have morning coffee.

The housekeeping staff doesn't perform their duties up to Snuff they don't change the sheets sometimes I've rented rooms where I have no washcloths or soap because they forgot to leave it in there then I upgraded to the premium King room and literally it was nothing that it said on your website there was no different sheets there was no snacks there was no nothing I didn't have an iron or a microwave or soap so I got ripped off right there and no one will do nothing about it so I'm basically telling you this for no reason cuz it ain't going to help me out

Whatever I paid is worth.I dont think I expect more. its like pay for what you are enjoying.My travel is for one day to sleep and start next day.Room is good , tidy and has all amenities like Fridge,laundry,oven..etcThey dont have any breakfast and the hotel ambience is simple. As I said for whatever I paid its worthy.

The worst motel in the state of Pennsylvania. There was no microwave or refrigerator, and the safe didn’t work. You do not get housekeeping unless you pay extra. People were grilling outside in the parking lot. The bathtub was rusted and there was a hole in the ceiling. There is no coffee in the room, and no miniature toiletries. When I asked for linen I was given a bath towel that clearly had a dingleberry on it.
