One huge concern we had was on the safety of the property. We were assigned to the first floor on the lowest level which you entered in the back of the motel (basement level). There was no hotel management/employees present at the entrance. That door was left open and NO key card was used for the entry into the building, except from hours after 11:00 pm and 6:00 am. Really- in this day and age? Anyone could enter the rooms at the bottom level and no one would be wiser. Perhaps there were cameras, but if the staff was not watching at ALL times, it could be a disaster for the clients and a newspaper headline. NOT acceptable at all!

It was a pretty nice hotel. I appreciated the back parking lot having a lot of light to where it wasn’t uncomfortable or scary to park back there at night, but it fills up quick. We almost did not get parking. There must have been construction going on because there were a few machines in the parking lot taking up a few spaces but it was a great stay. The workers were super friendly and very accommodating!!

Back door was kept propped up which meant anyone could come in at any time. I even closed said door at one point because that is unsafe and someone had it opened right back up by the time I went back out of my room. Road noise is rough as well as lots of yelling and slamming of doors at all hours. Staff was average, nothing exceptional nothing terrible. Would choose a different hotel next time.

This was the perfect place for our little getaway to Nashville! Easy access to 65! Close to lots of restaurants and even a Target for thing you forgot! Comfy bed! Hot shower! Decent breakfast! Would stay there again! Didn’t like that the back entrance didn’t require a room card for entry!

Overall the hotel was comfortable and the breakfast was good. There were just little things that would make me not choose here again. The outlets were not sturdy enough to hold my charger or my hair dryer. There was no pool. We checked in but apparently not properly so we got called at 2:45AM to see if we still needed the room with only a slight apology. Everyone woke up and that made for a long night. There’s a train right by our bedroom window that runs throughout the night so it was noisy.

Front desk people were so nice, refrigerator, microwave, keurig in room, every toiletry you need in the bathroom provided, big back parking:Perfect for U-Haul. It has been perfect. Extremely convenient to the highway but not the noise of the highway.

This location was nice located near a shopping center with Target, Panera Bread, Coldstone Creamery and other stores was very convenient. Room was nice but needed more air ventilation. The hotel is near the railroad but it was not noisy. Staff was friendly and courteous. Standard Holiday Inn Express breakfast choices were available. Wifi was adequate. There is a fitness center but no pool.

The first room they gave us smelled bad, but they chanced it to a decent one. The hotel can use a good cleaning. Breakfast was surprisingly good, with enough options. The carpets are very dirty, specially on the stairs.

We stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in Indy and we were so pleasantly surprised, we thought we would try again in Nashville. The reception area of the hotel was nice, the staff were super friendly and welcoming.....the room.....WAS AWFUL. Walking in, we felt like we were in one of those movies where you walked into a rundown motel and wanted to run for the hills - where you were scared to sit down or touch anything. We immediately checked the room, and found a bed bug within 2 minutes of being in the room. It goes without saying, we left...immediately. The front desk staff were super apologetic and checked us out with no hassle, and refunded the first night stay that had been billed (can take up to 5-10 days of course), BUT being in Nashville with a concert in town and having to find another room last minute in another hotel ended up being triple the price. Needless to say, this was our last booking at a Holiday Inn Express.....

It was a great location, right off the highway. Decent free breakfast included. Bathrooms had mold behind the toilet. Spackle repairs throughout the room.(not sanded and painted) Rooms next door smelled like weed.

First the good: the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was good and that was about it. This property is old and any renovations made do not hide that fact. The door to our room required a hard shove with my shoulder to open because the opening is not square. I often take the fire stairs rather than the elevator, for exercise and speed. The fire doorway outside our room has a large gap between the door and frame when closed, and certainly would not contain fire or smoke (I doubt it would pass a building inspection). We could see and feel the floor of our room sagging between the floor joists; so much that I tripped over one. The robe hook on the back of the bathroom door was gone; only the mount remaining. The shower door frame was apparently leaking, and caulk was gobbled on to hide it, though caulk was moldy. The Kleenex holder had only 3 left. Definitely would not stay again.

Our stay was good at the hotel. Our only complaint is that the lighting in the room is very poor. If you plan to read, bring a book light. The 2 lamps between the beds give off very little light, so reading in bed was not an option. Otherwise, everything was great

The housekeeping staff was very friendly but the front desk folks were not. The headboard lights had no switch and when I called to ask how to turn them off, I was told to look for a switch. When I told them there was no switch, they said there was. I ended up un plugging them from underneath the bed table. My door had been obviously forced open at one time, and wasn’t fixed well enough to keep the door closed all the way. The ceiling in the shower was peeling off. Convenient location.

The front desk staff was accommodating; however the toilet never worked during our 2 day stay and they couldn't get anyone to fix it. We ended up using the public restrooms on the floor below us. The refrigerator froze all of our items and we had to dispose of things, the laminate floors were uneven in the living room and posed a trip hazard, the sink stopped up and the hot water took forever to get to the faucet. The maintenance of this property needs attention. We were double charged for our room in error and had to call them to get it straightened out. The girl who answered the phone when we called to get billing fixed tried to be helpful but seemed to be clueless. She also said she could not send us an itemized bill or receipt. All in all, we will not be staying here again when we visit Nashville.

I am very frustrated because I have called about two times already for a receipt to be emailed to me because the day I checked out the front desk lady said that she could not give me a receipt. I need to turn this into my job and this is getting really ridiculous that I have to keep calling to try to get an email just to get a receipt .

Desk attendant was excellent. Smiling and friendly when we came in. Had a TV issue , she exchanged remotes still didnt work. Cable was loose on back. She came to check if the remote worked and i let her know it was a cable. She had even brought another remote. She was a superstar. Rooms were excellent and clean. Breakfast was good as hotel breakfast get. Easy to get too from Interstate. Great stay.

Staff was generally not very helpful. I had to call three times before someone would confirm that they had a crib we could use, as we were arriving late at night. Check-in staff was rude about it when we arrived and I asked again and we had to ask for sheets. The bathroom door would not close, and the pull out couch was not comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good in the morning, and the morning staff were helpful and friendly.

Property is not well insulated and doors easily slammed and we heard them throughout the night. Also hotel staff gave someone our room to check into and they attempted to enter our room at 10:30pm. Let staff know about it in the morning and we got a ‘sorry’. Was also told that this location ‘does not price match other websites’ which, I believe, is against their corporate policy guidelines. Might stay again but this is at the low end of what we expect from Holiday Inn. Staff was very friendly upon check in and check out. Breakfast was standard holiday inn stuff.

Clean and comfortable room. Excellent value. The only dissatisfying aspect of our stay was that the breakfast buffet was nowhere near what is depicted in your commercials. No bacon, no scrambled eggs, no fresh cut (or even ripe) fruit. The pancake machine was awesome, however!
