The pool was nasty and cloudy and that was the main reason we came was to swim. So we didn't even get in. The rooms was not very clean. Halls dirty. Staff was nice though.

Very disappointed! I’ve been to many above average facilities. Housekeeping only brought items to the room if requested, no room service at all! Barely had towels to bathe. Breakfast was advertised, however, was not restocked. Breakfast hours were supposedly 7-10 am on weekends, we arrived down between 9-9:30 pm…no breakfast available. We stayed 3 nights but only had luck with breakfast Saturday am. completely. The pool was closed the entire weekend, which was quite disappointing to the kids. Our primary reasons for booking with Homewood Suites- Hilton Dublin, was due to amenities, breakfast and cleanliness. The pool was closed the ENTIRE weekend, resulting from a missing part. Monday morning comes, and oh, the pool is working all of a sudden. Not cool!! This facility did not meet sufficient standards for the cost!!!. Very disappointing.

The property is in severe need of maintenance. They look like have not repaired or painted damage to the facility in a year or more. The pool and hot tub was told to us not ready it tested high for contamination and had a large amount of chlorine in it. We were told to wait 20-30 minutes also the pool. Just looked disgusting so we didn't wait for it. I told the manager at the desk all the issues and he first said well it's an old property. Then he said they are aware of all the issues but the owner doesn't support maintenance. I let him know the property is not at the level of a Homewood suites quality. It's like a super 8 or motel 6, besides the bedding and beds being nice.

I was optimistic on this property despite the reviews. It definitely needs updating and completion of the work started. I picked this hotel for the pool as my kids were on spring break. Well as more kids/families checked in the magically the pool was closed. They said it was a pump issue but magically resolved Monday morning. No compensation given due to booking through Expedia.

Great sized room for the price I paid. However, we had some issues: 1. Hotel reeked of weed. We have a toddler, so that was not ideal 2. There were pubes in our shower and on the shampoo dispenser. 3. Pool area was disgusting. Hair floating in the pool, sand at bottom of pool, dirty foam in hot tub.

Great experience. Friendly staff. Amazing property. Loved the hot tub and pool. E we also played basketball on the court. Very quiet and secluded. The room was amazing. Great water pressure in shower. Very clean. I had a 2 bedroom suite for 6 of us and it was more than enough room. Will definitely be back ❤️

The hotel stay was fine as we were not in the property for most of the stay. There were small ants in the room, the room had a funny smell that lingered, the carpet and tile was very dirty and the room was in the first floor with windows that actually opened to the outside and there was a huge slit in the screen.

Everything was ok at check in. We were almost completely unpacked when we found BEDBUGS droppings in the second bedroom. We took pictures & immediately inform the management. They AGREED & provided us with new accommodations & said they would contact a service to take care of the Bedbug problem. After inspecting the new rooms on the 3rd floor we relocated all our belonging (with zero help). Carpeting in our rooms needed to be shampooed. The pool area was clean however the pool water was ice cold both days. The dining area was clean, breakfasts & service was ok. There is a lot of road construction in the area requiring detours. We stayed at many Hilton properties in the past and would not recommend this one till it got a total clean up.

We very much enjoyed this hotel. Everything was clean, the breakfast was wonderful, staff very pleasant, and room was very comfortable. Booked thos for my husband's birthday trip and he loved it. We swam, played basketball, and grilled steaks without leaving the property :) Will definitely look for these properties on every trip we take.

The front desk staff was a bit off putting. We asked if it was possible to check in early (around 1:30) and she was very curt, saying she wouldn’t have anything ready until at least 3p. Which is official check in time, I totally understand, but it was the way she said it. She also made a comment about the fact that we booked the room through a third party and seemed annoyed. Again, it was the way she said it, almost like she was blaming us. The room was not super clean, there was dust and random smudges on many of the table tops, there was mold on the vinyl panels in the shower and the refrigerator was dirty on the outside. The sleeper sofa was a bit gross and overall, it could have been A LOT cleaner.

Front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful. With that said, the hotel as a whole was not so good. The hallway carpets were disgusting. Pretty sure they have never been shampooed since being installed. Upon entering our room, we were greeted with an old, musty smell. The front of the refrigerator was very dirty. Inside the refrigerator did not keep food cold. Our garbage disposal did not work, and the sink was clogged, although they did fix that. The shower door would not stay closed so water kept spring out into the bathroom, I mentioned that, but that however, did not get fixed during our stay. The breakfast was just OK. With that being said, I would never stay here again definitely does not live up to the Hilton name.

The Queen size bed is actually a Full size bed. Floor tiles were dirty as was the Refrigerator door. Has a sign inside the Bathroom door saying checkout was at noon. Had someone from the front desk come to the room at 11:30 to see if we were checking out that day. I showed her the sign that said checkout was noon. I was informed it was an old sign. Whomever manages the hotel needs to get their stuff together. First Hilton owned hotel that was a disappointment.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. We booked a 2-queen suite, paying extra for what we hoped would be a nicer experience, but it was far from satisfactory. The room was a sweltering 85 degrees because the air conditioning was broken. Although the staff was helpful and attempted to provide us with a portable air conditioner, it was insufficient to cool all three rooms in the suite. To make matters worse, the pool was closed, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, and when it was open, it caused irritation to my children's eyes. Despite making my concerns well known to the desk staff, I was not offered any type of refund or compensation. Overall, despite the staff's efforts, the stay was frustrating and not worth the cost. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was a great family get away. No need for conjoined hotel rooms, they had two separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms and a shared kitchenette and living space. It was perfect and very affordable!

The beds are not queen size beds as the property states that they have, they are double beds. The appliances are older with the dishwasher being extremely loud and the fridge was hot and did not even work. The staff was very friendly.

The overall stay was pretty good, however the bed was very uncomfortable. It was probably one of the hardest beds I’ve ever slept in. Also, initially upon check-in my room seemed as if it didn’t get used very often, it needed to be stocked with everything. The front desk staff fixed the issue and brought things up to the room fairly quickly. The breakfast area was really clean, I like the selection that was available, the staff were super sweet, we happen to go on a weekend where the hotel was packed with children but the hotel staff kept them pretty contained. It also sucked that there was no late check-out but I understand that depends on the availability so overall I would give it a 3.5/5

I was shocked at how spacious our room was. I booked a suite and it had two seperate bedrooms and a living area, I never expected the space it was amazing. The property was very clean and well kept. The staff was so courteous and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again as well as look for homewood suites on my travels to other places.

Staff was super friendly and the location in Dublin was a great area to visit. The only thing we were disappointed with was the condition of the rooms were well worn. We pulled out the sofa mattress for our son to sleep on and it had stains all over it and smelled like weed. The mattress in the main room was very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. The refrigerator had rust spots all over it. This hotel definitely could use an update.

I understand when some people give low reviews because certain things weren’t as expected, BUT overall I was pleased and would stay here again? Why? Because the staff were all so nice and welcoming, the breakfast was excellent with great variety and the staff even went out of their way to make extra eggs and sausages when it ran out (even past the 9am end time). I also saw the staff eating breakfast that they made — always a good sign! The swimming pool was also large and clean (yes the water was clear) and my kids absolutely enjoyed it. So there weren’t the number of towels in the room that was supposed to be there and the sofabed was partially sticking out, but it’s all forgiven because people make mistakes. What mattered to me was how they handled any problems. They gave us extra towels right away and even offered us a different room. But we declined as the bedding looked clean. In the end, I’m thankful for a very pleasant stay and especially thankful for the excellent staff that embodies the meaning of true hospitality.

Check-in was great; Melissa was nice and quick to check us in. The room was ok, however, when we asked for 1 or 2 more towels the next morning we were told it might be awhile because they had none and therefore had to check throughout the hotel for one…(?) Also, we had 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper to start and no extra (we didn’t even bother to ask)… I’m glad we only stayed one night.

Great location, area was very nice and close to the Columbus Zoo. My only complaint....we were told to ask for additional linens because maid service only occurs every other day. Our stay was 3 people for 2 days and our room had 2 wash clothes in it. When we asked the manager for additional wash clothes for the remainder of our stay she was reluctant to provide them stating that all 89 rooms were occupied and she couldn't spare them. We only asked for an additional 4 wash clothes. Later when we asked for eclipse glasses she said they would not provide them for free because we didn't book through the Dublin website. We booked 2 suites for 2 nights for 3 people. Seemed a bit petty not to give us each a pair of eclipse glasses.

We checked in late at night with our 2 year old son. Melissa checked us in, she was so wonderful! She made it a very warm welcome feeling, and held the door open for us as we brought everything in. She alone is one of the reason we will be back. Our suite was clean and wonderful, it was also very quiet. Breakfast had a great selection as well. Overall we will be back without a doubt!

The hotel room was very spacious and was an easy 15 minute drive from the Zoo. There were lots of shops nearby as well. The area around the hotel was quiet and good for evening walks. The pool was ok. I would return to this location again.

It is always nice to have a free breakfast but having the same options for 3 straight mornings was different then any other place I have been. It would have been nice to have more than just one evening appetizer also. Overall though the property was very nice and clean. Staff was very pleasant.

Friendly desk staff, but breakfast was not up to the usual Homewood standard. There were no fruit juices and the butter spread was old and crumbly (one big serving jar, no individual pads). Coffee lids did not fit the cups. Maybe cutting costs? The credit card "hold for incidentals" was $100. Most hotels are $50. It will drop off eventually, but the amount was surprising.

Staff was nice but the room wasn't anything to get excited about. The microwave didn't work, and we went and bought our own blankets because the bedding in the room was dirty and covered in hair. We only ate the breakfast they offer once because it was so bad i threw it away. We showed up to the breakfast 5min after it opened and the food was already cold and stale. pretty sure it was left over from the day before.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! It's a great place for families with kids. The pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing, perfect for winding down. Our room was very clean, and the towels and sheets were fresh and spotless. The in-room kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pots and pans, a stove, dishwasher, and a full-size fridge, which made it super convenient for preparing meals. The basketball court was high quality and a big hit with our family. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful, and we especially appreciated the welcome light dinner they offer every Wednesday. Overall, a comfortable, family-friendly stay with great amenities we would definitely come back!
