Pros - Donna was helpful, Full refrigerator. Lay out and size of place. Close to ice cream place. Abundant plugs, center island, bed was so so. Con - TV cable signal would go in and out. Disgusting all around. Return vent caked with lint, dirty dishes in dishwasher, filthy carpet, couch covering all ripped up and was told owner was looking to replace, All bedding and towels were thread bare, stayed 4 nights and had to track cleaning crew down between 9am-5pm because front desk had nothing. Needed more toilet paper and they had none at front desk, had to buy drano to put down bath tub drain because standing in 3 inches of water when we showered, smell was musty and moldy, Extra blanket wadded up in top of closet didn’t use it was afraid to. Couldn’t use pool as planned because pool pump was out, no complimentary breakfast. Will not stay at any Sonesta’s again. Don’t believe their pretty photographs or wonderful telephone messages, all a lie.

Poorly maintained rooms with heavy smell of cigarette smoke. Common area littered with cigarette ash. Had to repeated ask for clean towels and bathroom essentials. Breakfast no longer served at this location. Disappointed with the Hotels.com website. Hotels.com customer service online not very helpful. Had to call into the customer service department to get any appreciable assistance. Will most like book vacation through alternative options in future

GOOD 1) Front desk supervisor was great. He was super friendly and helpful. 2) The rooms were mostly clean and beds comfy. So glad that didn't change as understaffed as they are. NOT GOOD 1) Although mostly clean, there was dust on the cups and dishes and crumbs under the couch cushins. 2) The lobby closes!!! Housekeeping was quick to let us in at 10:00 PM on a Friday( the pad for building 1 is broken), but just as quick to chastise about the lobby being closed. What kind of property closes the lobby? Well that's not posted. Checked out at 5:48 AM and there was no one around. We had to prop open the door while loading the car or we'd have been locked out of our room with no property support to get back in. Cosing the lobby with no desk support is just wrong. I just shoved my card through the locked dootrs and left.3) No breakfast. Super sad about that. One of the best features Sonesta used to have. 4) No soap or shampoo in dispensers. Had to ask for soap. 5) Personally, I did not take offense, but hearing associates around the desk complain about their colleagues, using vulgar language and congregating around the lobby and buliding 1 doors is not a professional look, nor are the boxes stacked in the former dining area and blight cars in the parking lot. Ive been staying at this Sonesta since 2014 and keep coming back. I heard it's under new management and it has taken a nose dive. We love Dublin, but we'll stay at a more hospitable property from now on.

Room was not as pictured. Was very damp and not very clean. The entire reason we booked the room was for the pool. The pool was closed when we got there and when we asked about it we were told the pump broke the day before we arrived and that it would be fixed as soon as possible. Later on talking to some long-term residents, was informed that the pool has been out of service and closed for a month. There was no continental breakfast as advertised. Asked for towels several times but never received any. Checked out two days early because my daughter started getting a sore throat from the dampness of the room.

Horrible experince with multiple issues, property refuses to refund the money. 1. Checked in and notifed no brekfast offered but paid upcharge during booking. 2.Checked into first room all pillow cases stained. 3.Tried checking into second room, the keycard would not work. Cigarette buds all over the entry way hallway. After all the issue asked front desk for the refund in writing, it was agreed but no email ever sent. Now the property refuses to offer refund.

Room was clean, comfortable, bathroom walls old, some hair in tub, our bed continued to have a wet spot that continued to spread during the night. We paid for breakfast, they don’t offer breakfast. I just had surgery, there were no ground level rooms, it was difficult climbing 17 steps.

My first room I took my shoes off on the carpet and I stepped in something wet... So they gave us another room, in the second room the shower had hair in it and hair all over the bathroom area floor. Yall this place is gross. The couches haven’t been cleaned I don’t think since they been put in those rooms. Cabinets had what seemed coffee grinds all in them, which you think they’d clean the cabinets before next guest. Do not recommend. I felt gross even after cleaning the tub and taking a shower

WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. The lady who checked us in was nice though and parking was plentiful. Sure, we were able to live here for 5 days, but it was uncomfortable. The apartment was organized but dirty. The carpet turned my toddler's foot black. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang anything and the towel rack was broken and tossed underneath the sink. Lots of areas were not vacuumed or cleaned: behind the one-person seat in the corner were cobwebs and dead bugs, in the corners in the bedrooms, above the mirrors - basically any space that isn't touched on a daily basis was dusty and unclean. Every day there were new bugs in the bathroom (rollie pollies, silverfish, crickets). I have no idea where they were coming in from. On one morning there was a GIANT wolf spider in the corner of one bedroom. Thankfully we were able to find staff to come and remove it (he brought it outside, he was also very nice). I didn't speak with the front desk about our stay because the first room we were assigned, the keycard didn't work. Rather than getting the cards redone, I asked for a new room because outside the first room, it smelled like marijuana and cigarettes (normally would've let that go but had a toddler with us), and the neighbors were also very loud through the door. I just figured this is the general quality of the location I booked.

First off we had to wait 2 hours after our scheduled check in time to get our room. Then the room wreaked of cigarette smoke, had not been cleaned, had giant stains all over the carpet, and dead bugs everywhere. My toddler crawled on the floor for 10 minutes and his hands turned black. We called to ask for a different room and they wouldn’t do anything for us. We checked out immediately and went to a hotel right around the corner While we were moving our stuff out of the room, we ran into a large group of people in town for a family reunion. They reported dirty rooms and spiders everywhere to us, but they decided to stay since they had such a large group

My room was absolutely filthy. Brown spots caked on the wall in the bathroom. Smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. Half the lights didn’t work. Cheap bars of soap that if you dropped in the tub, they crumbled. I almost feel as if the health department should be called.

This property is in need of an update. The room was filthy and smelled. Carpet was dirty, all vents were coverd by dust, blinds were dusty, bedroom doors wouldn't shut, walls had food on them, ants in one bathroom coming out the light socket and the latch on the door wS loose.

The place has potential with cute common areas and big rooms, but the management is terrible and they have let the place become too run down. Our room smelled like an ashtray and our clothes were completely spoiled as a result of staying in such a smelly room. We had to wash everything including our winter coats as soon as we got home. Management is too lax with the existing guests letting them smoke in common areas and in the rooms. The furniture was badly stained and beat up. The bedding and carpets were badly stained. The person overseeing the property doesn’t adhere to the quality standards that I have experienced at other Sonesta properties. Corporate headquarters needs to pay a visit and invest in deep cleaning, refurbishment of the smoke spoiled rooms and stained furniture. Sonesta needs to invest in property management who enforces the standards expected by corporate. We didn’t have house keeping once during our 4-day stay.

All the flooring in my room was filthy. The cold water faucet in the bathroom was barely a trickle. Lots of weird splashes on the walls from who knows when. There was graffiti on a bench outside, and the exterior of the property was very concerning. I smelled a lot of strange smoky smells on a regular basis. I'm pretty sure some people actually live here permanently I will definitely not be staying here again, even though it is cheap.

The front desk staff were friendly, and I appreciated that. When we got to our room, there was an immediate and strong smell of smoke. My eyes and nose immediately began to burn, and my throat was on fire. The room was clean though. I asked to be moved to a different room and while it smelled better, the room was not in better shape. The place needs some TLC. The pillows didn't have pillowcases on them and were just thrown at the foot of the bed, the walls were dirty, and the paint was chipping. The couch was heavily soiled. The pillows need to be replaced and thrown out, they were yellow and had no cushion. I ended up having to trade the pillows from the previous room before I traded keys with the front desk. The refrigerator was on but wasn't cold. The sofa just needs to be replaced if they aren't going to clean it. The carpet isn't so great either, you definitely do not want to walk around with no shoes on. The bed was comfortable though and the water was hot! We stayed one night so it served its purpose.

Overall the hotel is good. Sonesta ES is very convenient. The bed and the kitchen are great. There are some cons in this hotel: Different handles in the bathroom are falling off the walls. Noises from the room above me were easily heard in my room.

Start with the check in. Very rude! More or less threw the papers to sign on the counter. Handed me the room key and said take care. Now the room!!! Just stay away!!! I opened the door and the smell was horrendous!!! It smelled like something I can't describe...maybe it was the trash piled up outside the room. A mouse or some critter ran across the floor. There were holes in the wall, some kind of bug crawling above the bed. The floor was filthy. It looked as if the floor hadn't been swept or mopped in quite some time. I went back to the front desk and the chipper lady who checked me in greeted me again with.... yea. I laid the key down on the counter and told her I could not stay in a place so filthy. She literally looked at me and said ok. Not what is wrong, or let me get you another room... anything. I asked if I was going to receive my payment back and was told that was at the managers discretion. For two days now when I call the manager is not available and have not received a phone call either. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!!!!!!!

Room stunk of cigarettes and had burn marks on the bathroom sink. Overall room was dirty. Staff was not responsive for OVER an hour when I was locked out of my room and my key would not work after I had worked a 12 hour night shift. Stood in the lobby waiting for assistance and called them multiple times and no answer. Expedia couldn’t even get ahold of them. Ended up leaving to check into another nearby hotel. Do not stay here, the good reviews are old and not relevant. Many better options nearby.

When my nephew areives ro check in he was told all 3 of our rooms had been cancelled. He callwd me ao i could speak to desk clerk who claomws his manager cancelled our reservations because we booked through a 3rd party. i asked to speak with manager. Was told to call back Got same man now pretending to be manager He claomed he canceled us daya ago and 3rd party had notified us. He then claimed he would find us somewhere else to stay. he hung up and told my nephew to fet the *uck out of his hotel. My nephew said he was sressws in a staines hoodie, the place was under construction and tje whole hotel looked sketchy. Very disappointed. We found another hotel down the street but it was 2x the price. It was home opener weekend at Ohio State so we had no choice but to pay the price.

I had a horrible experience at this property. I contacted them weeks ago for an early check-in since I was coming from out of town for a wedding that started at 3pm that day. They stated they can do 1pm, no earlier, I asked if there was a confirmation number or name that I can keep for record to confirm my early check in. She stated no b/c she is the only person that is at the front desk. I arrived at 1pm with this info. and she looked at me as though I was from a diff. planet. She said "we can't do that". She informed me that she has no idea when she can give me an early check as she would be informed when the cleaning staff has one ready. She said there is nothing she can do. I made her cancel my reservation, now I have no place to go get ready for the wedding. Meanwhile the lobby look disgusting and smelled horrible. Luckily I was able to get into Home2 suite which understood my issue and got right in. I will NEVER recommend this property.

The guy at the front desk who worked saturday evening was pretty much alone until a manager helped him, but even working alone he was kind and did not get upset that he had so much going on because they were so busy, we will stay here again and shout out to that young front desk worker, you did amazing.

The location is great. However, the floors are very dirty. When I went to check in no one was at the front desk and had to wait and call to get service. The room given to me was not what I booked (I booked a king, got two queens in two different rooms). Light bulbs were missing, the batteries in TV remotes were missing, and the dishes were limited (no forks, etc).

Very reasonable hotel. Location was very convenient to restaurants and highways. Room was clean and in good condition except for a few areas, the coffee maker had a moldy filter in it and no one has ever cleaned behind the doors, especially in the bathroom. Except for the coffee maker, the kitchen was very clean and functional. Large comfortable room for a great price. Free, onsite parking was well lit and abundant. This is an Ohio issue and not a hotel issue per se, since the rooms are smoke free, it seems everyone that smokes, smokes pot outside in the areas common to the entries to the rooms so there is no getting away from the smell.

Absolute disgusting place. Internet didn’t work. The room had an awful fish smell from the refrigerator to the bed. Very bad neighborhood. Hundreds of kids around the basketball court and in the parking lot hanging out smoking weed all day and night. Very overpriced. Zero customer service. Zero cleaning. This place was a nightmare. Rip off
