Woke up at 345am to my truck alarm going off. Looked out the 4th floor window to see a car behind my truck and an individual entering my truck through the rear passenger window. Called 911 and gave descriptions and went downstairs. Guys working the desk had no idea anything was going on. Met police and got report - my truck was the last one of five that was hit in this parking lot. Seemed like common practice based on reactions. Front desk workers gave me assistant GM number to call in the morning. Got a sorry response with no offer of discount/refund/credit even though I was only at the hotel for 4 total hours since I left after officer was finished with my info. If you value your windows, I would avoid this area. They need to invest in some parking lot monitoring overnight. They apparently had the cameras, so should have them on the screen during overnight hours.

Really disappointed the pool was not in operation. It was not mentioned during my booking. Thankfully the sister hotel was sharing their pool with Hampton inn and and suites.

The stay was great. The only issue was that the pool was out of service. In the summer that is one amenities for choosing a hotel. The reason given was that was an outdoor pool.

Booked my King bed room via Hotels.com. At check in, the room type was unavailable. Only King suites at higher rate available. You better update your availability with Hotels.com or offer the next category room at the same price. Also, pool closed and it was 95 degrees!

We enjoyed our stay but the only thing was the pool says closed when it wasn’t supposed to and my family were bump about it so we couldn’t swim as it was hot and we’re done doing other things around the area.

Went to breakfast at 9:30 and no waffle batter, fruit or yogurt. Had to ask for orange juice. The pool was closed and garbage can overflowing. Elevator button on 3rd floor didn’t light up to know if elevator was called. Just not up to our typical standards for a Hampton Inn.

They location was great. Plenty of places to eat near by and things to do. The hotel is being renovated and maybe it will look nice once complete but there where stains on the walls in my room and it had a awkward smell. Also, the pool was closed.

We have stayed here several times in the past. It has gone way downhill on all levels. The room was ok but all common areas were filthy. The clientele was shady at best. The smell of marijuana and cigarettes was overwhelming in common areas. I waited over 10 minutes for someone to show up to check me in. Breakfast was ok but area was filthy. Coffee 24:7 is nice. Several cars of our team members were broken into at neighbor hotel. Pick another location.

In Charlotte for son's 2 day sport's camp and then a day at Carowinds. Loved having the suite with 2 double beds in one room and a TV/couch/kitchen table and fridge/sink in the other room. Spacious. Dated, needs some maintenance around door frame, but the price was right. Ok breakfast. Kids loved making their own waffles. Great location, near freeway, lots of restaurant options and Carowinds. Staff was great, even allowing for an early check-in. Their pool was closed, but they let us swim at the Hilton Garden Inn next door... and that worked great.

Areas of the room did not appear to have been cleaned, large bug was also found in the room. We ended up having to switch hotels after the first night there which we were grateful to the front desk staff for facilitating for us.

The room was very clean and so was the rest of the hotel. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The hot breakfast was good, bacon, sausage, eggs, waffle maker along with other offerings was excellent. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

On the second night, we found bugs in our bed, and we were moved to another room. Two mornings later we found a bed bug walking across the bed in that room. We were treated very well as we checked out early, but the hotel is obviously lacking what Hampton Inn usually provide by way of cleanliness. The hallway carpets looked like the had not been vacuumed in weeks. I will give them credit for quickly refunding our money.

We had stayed here last year. Our daughter lives very close. The first room we had smelled strongly of “carry out”. We requested a new room and were moved. The room itself had broken lamps and the coffee maker had a mismatched carafe, so unusable. The rooms seem to be in need of some TLC.

Nice lobby. Room was subpar. Bathroom door was a sliding door that barely moved. Beds were uncomfortable and made very loud creaking noises when you moved around. Only ever use Hampton Inn & Suites but going to have to look elsewhere

Front desk was very nice upon check in and out. Older property in need of repairs. Bed was nice. Room was crammed tight with furniture, not a lot of other room. Not a normal closet, just hooks on a wall. Breakfast was okay, kitchen staff very pleasant. We asked for our room to be cleaned but it was not during our 2 day stay.

When I arrived the desk clerk was nice. Got to my room and put my shoes down and hit my leg and a metal pole that was sticking out of the bed. Then lift the covers and there was dried blood everywhere. Went to see if they had another room the door handle fell off. Explain to the desk clerk he had the nerve to tell me nothing was available and he couldn’t assist me. I asked for a refund he stated “take my azz up stairs and get in the bed.” I politely grab my bags and proceeded to leave. Upon leaving they were breaking into cars outside

Mysteriously, our expedia reservation was cancelled the last time we visited Pineville. The staff on duty went above and beyond to help us resolve the situation. This was the third time we have visited the Hampton and I would recommend it to anyone that is in the area visiting!

I gave this property a 5 star only because of the staff that we encountered. We arrived after (driving for 3 hours) spending the evening going to carowinds/scarowinds. When we arrived we were informed they were at capacity. The AGM went above and beyond to get us into 2 rooms. We arrived at 1215a and got into one of the 2 replacement rooms at 130a and finally into the 2nd replacement room at 230a. The maintenance man and a housekeeper got to work to get these 2 rooms together for us. We originally had a room with 2 queen beds and were put into 2 king single rooms to let us lay our head down. Our teens' room was fine, ours was definitely a Frankenstein room. The sink leaked, the shower was missing their knobs, no toilet paper roll, missing light. The maintenance man had to completely replace our AC unit at 230am. We were finally alone in our room at 245am. I cannot stress enough how great the staff we encountered in the middle of the night was. While we were exhausted and frustrated they were very nice. They were the only redeeming part of this trip.

Our room was not available. The property said it was Expedia’s fault. They tried to recommend that 2 adults and 3 teenagers stay in a room with 1king bed, or go somewhere else. It was almost midnight when we arrived after 15 hr drive. After my husband had a 20 min convo about how we need them to figure it out, they finally agreed and spent another 20 mins looking for accommodations and finally decided to comp us a connecting room, which we appreciate, but should have been handled when the reservation was received and paid for 2 weeks prior. Breakfast was pretty good. There were no towels for us to shower. I had to ask twice, on our last day they said they would bring some but never did, at least not before check out. Everyone seemed bothered to do their work. The pool was out of order. Overall, the hotel was just ok, but the customer service is lacking. They need to be more proactive and guest should not have to beg for them to do their jobs.

We had two TV's one remote had one battery and the other remote batteries were dead. The front desk had no batteries, so I requested they go to an empty room and get batteries. They were reluctant to do this and suggested I go to the store. Then we noticed the Shower attached Shampoo, body wash and conditioner were empty. The front desk said they had no supplies and we would need to change rooms. They gave us a room on a different floor - so we was a pain to move everything. From the top, upon arrival Check in lady Layla was dry and rude. Not very helpful or pleasant. Didn’t seem like she wanted to be at work at all. Very bare minimum. Maybe said 2 words to us. After we figure out which way to go we got to our room, it was nothing to write home about. Old and outdated. Then we discovered the TV in room bedroom didnt work. The bed was uncomfortable but okay, sheets didn’t have stains. The bathroom wasn’t clean, idk what was in the floor, and around the tub and in the sink. From the top, upon arrival Check in lady Layla was dry and rude. Not very helpful or pleasant. Didn’t seem like she wanted to be at work at all. Very bare minimum. Maybe said 2 words to us. After we figure out which way to go we got to our room, it was nothing to write home about. Old and outdated. Then we discovered the TV in room bedroom didnt work. The bed was uncomfortable but okay, sheets didn’t have stains. The bathroom wasn’t clean, idk what was in the floor, and around the tub and in the sink. Had a good stay at this location. Had some issues with the TV and the remote control. But the front desk quickly fixed the issue. There are a variety of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. As well as Carolina Place Mall. Carowinds is nearby. You can practically walk to South Carolina from where you are. Overall, my experience was great.

Woke up at 345am to my truck alarm going off. Looked out the 4th floor window to see a car behind my truck and an individual entering my truck through the rear passenger window. Called 911 and gave descriptions and went downstairs. Guys working the desk had no idea anything was going on. Met police and got report - my truck was the last one of five that was hit in this parking lot. Seemed like common practice based on reactions. Front desk workers gave me assistant GM number to call in the morning. Got a sorry response with no offer of discount/refund/credit even though I was only at the hotel for 4 total hours since I left after officer was finished with my info. If you value your windows, I would avoid this area. They need to invest in some parking lot monitoring overnight. They apparently had the cameras, so should have them on the screen during overnight hours.

I would recommend this hotel. The towels were thick and absorbant. There was plenty of hot water for everyone to shower. The beds were comfortable. The location was quiet yet centrally located. We lived having a private living room with a kitchenette and private separate bedroom. The a/c ran relatively quiet as well.

The room was very clean and so was the rest of the hotel. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The hot breakfast was good, bacon, sausage, eggs, waffle maker along with other offerings was excellent. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Our overnight stay was in a nice clean room that was a little smaller than expected. The usual amenities were provided plus numerous outlets for charging electronics. Negatives: uncomfortable bed, nonworking ice machine 4th floor, no worker at front desk upon arrival, breakfast slow to be remade after initial “run” on it.

Went to breakfast at 9:30 and no waffle batter, fruit or yogurt. Had to ask for orange juice. The pool was closed and garbage can overflowing. Elevator button on 3rd floor didn’t light up to know if elevator was called. Just not up to our typical standards for a Hampton Inn.

I checked in on a Thursday and stayed until the following Monday. During this time, not once did my room get any maid service despite the maids knowing I was in that room. Yes I could have notified the front desk but why should I have to in the first place. The complimentary breakfast was limited and to be honest, the hot selections were not exactly appetizing, especially the sliced pieces of sausage swimming in a vat of grease! The location was good for the purpose of my visit but that’s about all.

The building was one of the oldest Hamptons I have been to, I booked 2 rooms, the 2nd room was for my parents and one of the locks on their door wouldn’t lock. One of the elevator doors wouldn’t open and my dad was in there for a little bit. We reported to front desk, next morning, it was working right. The breakfast and staff was WONDERFUL

We stayed here twice in the past 2 weeks on our way to & from HHI from NJ. It's super clean, has all you need & a beautiful lobby. The last time we were upgraded to the queen suite which has a pullout couch, sink, etc. in an adjoining room. It was huge & so nice!! We'll definitely be back!
