Vail Run Resort

I liked it a lot! Clean room. Kitchen had a lot of whatever you need to cooking. Big smart TV. Good SPA(jacuzzi, sauna, pool). The Pizza place on the ground floor was a nice surprise. Good Pizza!(I am from Nee York and I say it!).

Extremely friendly staff. Shuttle service from property to the mountain was extremely sufficient. Ski lockers provided, nice hot tub and great little pizza restaurant attached to the building. Good communication overall from the staff. I would definitely stay there again.

Terry at front desk was great. Very helpful and kind. Property was good, kids enjoyed pool area, pizza downstairs was great to have on sire.Will be back!!

Front desk not manned by people equipped to check you in or out without waiting for qualified staff to get back to the desk. Was told I’d just need to wait to check in when someone got back from somewhere. Charged for parking when no one else was in the massive lot. Pool was not accessible and no one was around to answer questions. It is not in any village or accessible to villages without driving under highway.

Nice place to stay. Clean and had all the amenities needed. Shuttle to resort was wonderful, but if after hours the city sandstone bus drops off right at condo. Hot tub and sauna were fantastic!

The property is very close to the resort itself. It sits directly on the public shuttle bus route and the hotels shuttle also makes it very simple to get a quick ride over to any location at Vail's villages (you can easily call for pickup as well). Hot tub was nice too. The pool itself had an issue unfortunately, but certainly not a problem considering convenience factor of this hotel and it's amenities.

Pool and game room available. I got the 5 person King Loft and it was massive! We all slept comfortably. Kitchen is fully stocked. Everything you need is in that condo. It was very clean and full of amenities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s also free storage for skis or snowboards. I will definitely come back to this hotel with my family.

Vail Run is a great location. It is near the main highway, but is on a frontage road. Easy to find. Close to dining, mountains, grocery store, Starbucks Etc. Terry and Juan were great. Both were very accomodating, friendly, and funny. Pool and hot tub were great. The boys enjoyed the game room. (16 and 17). The shuttle ran all day, would even take you to the grocery store.This resort has several other amenities, but we didn't use them all. ***2 Bedroom Condo*** The condo we stayed in was CLEAN. It featured a propane/gas fireplace, patio facing the mountains, kitchen, dining room area, living room with sofas and TV. 2 bedrooms, both had TV's. 1 shower/. Both bathrooms had handsoap. Shower had body soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a blow dryer. Beautiful view! We loved every minute of our stay. Kitchen** Had pretty much everything you need to prepare a dish including spices. If you want to bake a cake, or casseroles/hot dish. There are no cake pans or any sort of dish to accommodate. Not a huge deal, but might be helpful to some. There were cooking sheets. Might be beneficial to see what you have to work with before planning meals. Cleaning supplies including dishwasher soap and vacuum were provided. Its definitely a location that forces you to slow down and relax. Overall, our stay was beautiful, relaxing, fun, and had a great time. Loved the location, staff, the resort itself and the amenities offered. I would certainly visit again.

This is one of the nicest properties that I have stayed at. Especially in Vail. It was very clean, had transport to the ski mountains. Parking was easy. The rooms were huge! They included a full kitchen and fireplace and outside patio. The resort had a indoor hot tub, sauna, and a salt room. The salt room was an outside vendor and very reasonable! Cant wait to go back to Vail Run Resort!!!

Room was clean and functional. Reasonably updated. Lobby and main area of the hotel was much older and smelled like a old restaurant. Front desk and shuttle service closes for lunch for an hour each day. Parking, cleaning, even access to the game room costs money. No real complaints with the actual condo I rented but the building / amenities were a little disappointing.

Great place to stay! The condo was clean and comfortable for our family. Carol, the front desk manager, was really pleasant and helpful. We will stay here again.

Perfect spot for skiing. The condo was spotless and had all the amenities we needed and more. It was cute, cozy and very comfortable after a long day of skiing. I would stay here again if skiing Vail. Great value as well.

Very clean room with everything we needed. The staff was friendley and made late check in a breeze. The hot tub and pool were a big plus. Downside was that our room was on the highway side so there was a lot of road noise at night that made it hard to sleep. If your a deep sleeper, no worries. Would stay again but would request a room not facing the highway.

It is hot in August and this hotel has no AC. It’s basically an apartment building from the 70s with some minimal updates. Single elevator for the entire building and it broke down. They also charge for parking even though it’s outside of Vail village itself.

My unit was adequately furnished, but it was on the street side, so the noise was constant and loud. To make matters worse, it was very warm in the unit and a fan was not provided. The decor of the common areas is very dated. There are better options in Vail.

This is a great place. Harkens back to the 70s/80s mountain life experience. The room was perfectly clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. Perfect trip for my girls and I. We enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. We were welcomed for an early check in because our room was already ready. Very nice welcome and stay. Will go again!

Very spacious rooms located 5 min away from vail village

We were very pleasantly surprised by Vail Run. At first glance entering the lobby, we weren't sure it would work for us. The condo complex is not new or decorated in the very modern manner that is currently popular. But the 2BR suite we rented for five nights was warm, cozy and very well appointed. The bathrooms were new and the kitchen had been freshened up with paint. A stone fireplace made the unit very welcoming. The front desk staff and courtesy bus that shuttled us daily to skiing and grocery shopping could not have been more helpful or pleasant. The lounge was stocked with puzzles and board games and a huge TV for watching football games. The other guests and unit owners we met were terrific, and quickly started to feel like family. We experienced a minor glitch with a new looking microwave that mysteriously stopped working several times. Vail Run quickly brought a new microwave to our suite to replace it, but then the existing one started up again. We will definitely be back. The only downside is road noise from the nearby highway. Running a fan in the room helped to add white noise.

The room we got is very noisy. You can hear road noise as if you are standing next to it. The kitchen is small but very well-equipped. The closet in the master bedroom is unusable.

Be aware that there is no air conditioning and this hotel sits right above I 70… So if you open your windows at night, the traffic in the interstate is very loud. We had to turn a box fan on high for the white noise so we could leave the windows open at night. Just wanted to mention as lack of air-conditioning may be a killer for some people.

We had a wonderful stay at Vail Run, the staff is soooo amazing!! Carol, Jose, George and Hector and all of the housekeepers, they were so friendly and helpful! The place was comfortable and close to everything! The amenities were great and convenient. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Vail!

definitely did not get the memo on the front desk closing at eight or 8:30 PM which I guess is typical of Vail Valley. Learned something new! I definitely had a very unfortunate check in experience and was not very happy to be searching for the key for 45 minutes and was not given the option for a luggage cart. Let allow any kind of assistance and I was told that I needed to wait until the morning. overall, I missed the opportunity to get into the hot tub because of all the nonsense from the Spanish person checking me in at night, and I was extremely put off as this was intended to be relaxing in a vacation at this point in my trip, exploring Colorado. So with all of the nonsense at check-in and the missing key and having to contact an overnight option for myself, literally locked out of the room because of the piss poor instructions by the individual so much in a hurry to be on his way for the night, but yet stood around in a stalker, kind of manner for over a half an hour watching me try to find the key. Come to find out there was a secondary envelope for me in the night dropbox, never explained to me or even offered to me as a potential option for gaining entry into my room WOW! Instead this individual chose to sit and watch me dig through all of my things that I had come to the front desk with for a half an hour before leaving, literally denying assistance KNOWING FULL WELL I WAS UNABLE TO GAIN ENTRY INTO MY ROOM!! Definitely harassment. Otherwise PERFECT!!

When we arrived the front desk said only one key was available which was an inconvenience, since we need two. When we reached our room we started to unpack only to realize that the room was never vacated! We had to repack, move everything down to the lobby... had to wait until another check- in was processed and get the whole thing sorted out. This has never happened to us and we travel quite a bit!

we enjoyed our stay at Vail Run Resort very much. It is close to everything you need and offers a free shuttle to and from the slopes. We only encountered one issue during our stay and in the grand picture it was minimal! We went to check in at 6:00 pm and they were closed for break. The voicemail didn't indicate they break from 6:00 to 6:30 or we would have stopped for groceries instead of wasting our time sitting in the parking lot waiting to check in. It would have been nice to know that information.

Beds and pillows were comfy! Liked having bus service so we could leave the vehicle parked and ride the buses.

Dated, needs new paint and carpet, but beds are comfy and views from pool are nice. Pool is nicely heated. Parking charge for an empty parking lot seems silly, but it’s a good location across from Vail Mountain.

The staff at the front desk and the shuttle drivers are very helpful and polite. The one bedroom apartment we stayed in was very comfortable and spacious. It had a fireplace, a big screen TV and a good kitchen. The shuttle takes you to town and to the grocery stores. You can also take the Sandstone bus line into the Village.

Great location for walking into Lionshead or Vail Village. Our deck faced the highway, so it was a little loud with the windows open at night. The affordability, location and layout made up for the noise.

This is a cute little resort that is actually owned units for rent. Our unit was remodeled so it was newer but clearly put together hastily. There was no soap to do dishes or use the dishwasher and the fridge was not on when we arrived and when we turned it on, it sounded like a jet engine. Also, these are older units so there is no air conditioning. They have a great pool, hot tub and outside area. We enjoyed our stay and would be back but this is exactly what you pay for... a cheap no frills place to sleep at night.

I stayed here to ski locally at vail and I could not have been more happy about my experience. Transportation is provided, there are local stores near by, and the staff is great. The prices were better than all the surrounding areas and I would argue that this place is better than the other places in many ways. They have a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, pizza place in the resort, and a phenomenally cool lounge area where you watch movies and relax. Great place, I only have good things to say. Will certainly be staying here again!!

Nice place, well stocked kitchen. Shuttle takes you to the mountain and back, it takes 5 minutes. To get to the village you need a car or use a shuttle. The studio has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
