Stayed 1 night

At about 8:00 am, we went downstairs to the Tavern Restaurant to have breakfast. We had to go into the kitchen to ask to be seated since the hostess was not present for over 5 minutes. We were promptly seated and ordered our breakfast within 6 minutes. After waiting more than 20 minutes, we flagged down another server and asked where our breakfast was. We informed the server we were going to be late for a doctor's appointment if the food did not come out quickly. We were told it was coming right out. After waiting another 10 minutes, we asked our original server where our breakfast was. He said it was being delivered now. 5 minutes later our breakfast was served. We had to eat what we could quickly and took the rest in a box. 46 minutes later! The manager gave us our check and said something less than $8.00 was deducted for inconvenience. He said my breakfast burrito took longer than expected to make. It only contained scrambled eggs, cheese and beans with green chili sauce. What an insult! An $8.00 credit on a $57.00 bill for indigestion and raised blood pressure. We had to hustle to our car. Not a nice and comfortable experience in the least. Once we got to our car, it reeked of body odor from the valet. I do not know I would stay again. The poor experience, lack of accountability, responsibility and discusting personal hygiene the hotel exhibited that final day was telling and the credit was an insult. We stayed two separate nights in one week.

We arrived at 1 pm, not expecting to check in until 4pm, even though the property seemed not busy at all. We were told that we would get a text when the room was ready, but never received the text. So we returned about 4:30-4:45 and were told we could get in. Then they said the room was not ready and it would be about 10 mins. Forty minutes later we finally were able to get into the room. The room was nice, though not the room in the photos. Bathroom was very nice. The carpet was kind of dirty and wet in some spots. The half and half for coffee curdled. We didn't know until checking out that each reservation comes with a $121 credit to use on premises. We had been to the restaurant our first night and the coffee shop in the mornings. We could have used the credit towards those purchases, but were never told. Front desk help seemed a little unprofessional. This is not an inexpensive property. I would expect a better experience.
