Very run down, for the price. Carpets had tears. Room had a musty smell. Window curtains missing. No battery in smoke detector in room. Parking lot and exterior of building was not illuminated well.

The electric went out and no one offered a solution.

They had no power, You would think they would have a generator being a common hotel. No vending machines at all. No ice machines.

Staff were doing their jobs. The Expedia picture of the fitness facility is outdated. Some cardio machines are all of the equipment they kept in the facility.

The parking is convenient.

Toilet didn’t flush, clogged up easy. Breakfast was mid, didn’t have anyone refilling the food. Front desk lady was rude when I called to confirm our room. No pool, gym only had two things to do. Pricing was way more than it was worth. Won’t be going back.

I rented the room on expedia at about 7:30pm and arrived at the hotel around 8:30. Upon arrival we discovered that there was no power and no hot water. Apparently they had lost power about 4hrs prior to me booking the room. I was not informed of the power outage prior to arrival. The 3 other hotels at this exit were not renting rooms due to the power outage. Had i been aware of the power outage prior to booking i would have driven 30 more minutes to St Louis and gotten a hotel there. The workers were very rude. It was me and my two children and we were told to get everything we needed from the car in one trip because the ONE worker there had to let us in our rooms because we couldn't get keys. They had NO lanterns or flashlights at all for anyone to use. The first room we were assigned the worker just opened up the door and there was a couple in the bed. The 2nd room was luckily empty. Didnt need to walk in on people again. Morning comes and still no power and then no breakfast. The morning worker was horribly rude to everyone checking out telling everyone we didn't have to stay there but chose to. However i was charged through expedia and was told id lose my money if i cancelled.

This hotel was a good place to stay and will be coming back. The staff were really friendly and polite. Convenient to restaurants and other stores. The only thing that we didn’t like was how there is no pool. What happened to every hotel having a pool lol.

The room was clean however carpet was moist maybe due to the humidity. And the room had a musty smell.

Our first room was dirty and not cleaned from the previous customers

The property was very clean, great breakfast was offered. Rooms were clean.

We have been staying at this hotel for the last 5 years. Last year we got changed due to mold on the walls. This year we got changed again due to mold on the wall. Will not stay again due to getting worse.

Staff was rude, there was mold around the shower and the air unit did not regulate well

Nothing much unique about the property. The room had stains on the walls, the bedding had hair and lint all over it, and the bath faucet was continuously dripping.

We arrived at almost midnight. Anxious to get some sleep, we checked in with our reservations quickly. We went to our room and opened the door to a musky, moldy scent. We checked the room for source of smell, heard on the news there’d been a lot of flash flooding in the area that day, so assumed it was just humidity and rain causing smell. We opened the window and got ready for bed. As we removed our shoes and socks to get under the covers, our feet felt wet! Our carpet was wet! Having traveled all day that day and impacted by the security software update glitch that affected travel and caused delays, we just needed to lay down, get a few hours rest and head out! We couldn’t get up and pack, dress and move, nor did we try. We won’t, however, be stopping here again!

Outdated and smelled musty

Hall carpets and room have large big stains and dirty. Pour sink had been broke severely and sealed with some type of yellow glue. Room door was difficult to open, sticking badly.

Blood on the bathroom floor. Walls and furniture dirty.

We usually stay in nicer hotels but chose this one to save money for this trip. The front desk staff were really slow but I didn’t let that bother me too much. The room overall wasn’t bad. The TV was awful, we couldn’t figure out how the guide worked on the remote and the channels were very limited, but we could overlook that as we weren’t staying in the room long. However the toilet wasn’t working properly and I called down to the front desk to ask for help. As my husband walked passed the front desk and heard 2 employees arguing over who was going to come up and help fix the toilet. VERY unprofessional, especially behind the front desk where guests are passing by. These employees should not be working in hospitality! This can’t be the only time they’ve been asked to plunge a toilet. Finally one of the boys came up (dressed in regular clothes, no uniform or professional attire at all) with the plunger and handed it to my husband and when my husband looked at him with confusion the man told him “we aren’t allowed to enter the rooms, it’s policy”. We are not plumbers or maintenance people, nor are we getting paid as such. In a maintenance situation such as this, how is that policy?! We plan to visit the area very often now due to a new grand-baby but will NOT be staying in this hotel again. Service is just as important, if not more, as quality and cleanliness, and this incident cost them our business.

The a/c was old and the temp was hard to regulate. The humidity was high—couldn’t get it to dry out. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good lots of choices.

Bed was super comfy

Not a good place to stay for more than just a night. Place smells mushy and carpet is damp. The room was humid and the AC was just making it worse. Do not recommend this place at all.

This hotel was surprisingly shabby for the price. Everything was worn out or broken in the room, and the bed felt like a hammock.

At check-in, we were given our room assignment. When we opened the door we were surprised to see an unmade bed, toiletry remnants, and trash strewn about. We went back to the desk. The next room was down the hall. We took the elevator and noticed one of the light covers was hanging down about a foot and held together with tape. The carpets in the hallway were worn and stained. The room appeared to have been cleaned, but the condition of the furnishings was poor. The toilet was askew and not properly sealed to the floor. It was very unstable. The beds and pillows were abysmal. We endured for two days before we had to call it quits. On the plus side, the night clerk was very friendly and the wi-fi was very fast. Everything else was just bad.

This location needs an upgrade. It was adequate, but I wouldn't stay again unless there were no other options. Worn carpet, peeling/chipping paint, bath/shower had been repainted, but the paint was coming off, etc. Staff was friendly and worked hard, but there's only so much you can do with limited tools.

Staff was courteous and room was pretty comfortable. Fairly quite hotel being near an interstate and in town. Bathroom shower/tub combo had a ring around it so wife didn't use it. Bed sheets kept coming off at the corners which was unpleasant trying to sleep.

Mika went above and beyond even getting us ice when we checked in. As I was checking out Gary fell out used.Mika got him up and inside. Got ice and bandages. We were soon on our way.

I arrived at the hotel at 11:00 p.m. expecting to check in. There was no one at all at the front desk. After two attempts to get hold of Comfort Inn they said they would send somebody out to the hotel. That person arrived at 1:00 a.m.. it was a nightmare. I finally got to bed at 2:00 a.m.. I expect a full refund. How do you leave a hotel full of people without a person to manage it? What if there was a fire? All the people in the hotel would have perished. This is going to be reported to the authorities.

My stay at this hotel was for 1 night. The room was clean and the hot breakfast was ok. The AC was not very efficient and smelled musty. The hallway on my floor reeked of weed. Front desk staff was not very friendly - when they were there! I only saw them twice - once when I was checking in and once standing right outside the front door smoking next to the no smoking sign. I never saw anyone at the front desk the morning I checked out and I was in the lobby/breakfast area for over half an hour. I would not stay here again.

Very friendly check in personnel, it seemed like one was in training and the other was doing a very good job guiding him. The room was clean and very comfortable, very nice toiletries and towels.

We were in town for an afternoon wedding. We called ahead of time to make sure we could check in at 1. When we arrived at one, we were informed that the rooms were not ready and they couldn't do anything about it. We ended up going to the wedding venue and changing in their bathrooms. After we returned from the wedding (four hours after the official check-in time), we were sent to two non-adjoining rooms (although we requested and confirmed by phone the day before and earlier that day that we had adjoining rooms). The rooms were not cleaned and the beds were stripped, with dirty linens piled in the middle of them. We went back downstairs, got two more rooms, not adjoining again (they said none were available), and finally got to relax. The only good thing about this stay was the breakfast. I was not only upset about the entire aggravation, but also by the lackadaisical attitude of the staff. We interacted with four different staff members and not one apologized, tried to make it right, offered a discount, perk, or anything. They acted like we were a bother.

Great Front Desk and easy check in

Check in was quick and easy. It’s very quiet even though interstate and a busy road right here.

Located next to the Highway

Pulled into the parking lot and was immediately met with two men wandering the lot that were quite obviously on drugs and talking to themselves, very unkept. Upon walking in, we waited a few minutes at the front before being acknowledged. No one was around, nor was there any way to indicate to staff there was someone present (like a bell). I always check the room before bringing my belongings in just in case, so this was no different. The smell of the entire third floor was so strong and even filled up the room. Checked the room and it was dirty and dusty, with yellow stains all over the mattress and what looked like bed bug droppings on the mattress upon check. Immediately we went down to inform the front desk we would not be staying there and was refused a refund. Found a different hotel to stay in for the night.

The area seemed to be sketchy. We had someone holler at us in the parking lot and we hurried to get inside and the man followed us inside.

Nice location in Festus. For some reason, hotels are pricey there, but it may just be the new normal. Good stop.

Good place to stay. Clean, friendly staff, fridge in room. The breakfast bar is nice. Plenty of restaurants are nearby and a Schnucks grocery store is close. My only complaint would be that I didn't see any shampoo in the bathroom or sink area. Most hotels provide shampoo. Overall, however, I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

Breakfast potatoes too much pepper, breakfast pastries soggy, out of milk for cereal-had to ask to re-stock milk. Food was eatable but did not seem fresh.

Breakfast used to be amazing . Today at 7am no eggs left , sausage undercooked, potatoes cold , no syrup for waffles disappointing and very scant choices Coffee and juice watery.

Litter in the hallway, food crumbs on the floor in the room, hair in the bed and the shower. The breakfast wasn't ready when we left at 6:30 and it started at 6. Front desk attendant wasnt visible.
