The staff was very friendly and informative. Room was clean, well maintained. Pool heated and well maintained, also. Breakfast was what I expect at all Holiday Inns. A special shout out to front desk and Matthew. I watched him as he checked in others and he was so polite and efficient to all. After driving all day, it is a pleasure to check in to a hotel and be greeted with a smile, and sincerely welcomed—plus, get into your room in a short period of time! Thank you, Matthew!

The hotel is in a quiet area yet restaurants in short driving distance. The back patio is pretty and inviting. Peaceful. Some stores close. Festus water tower stands behind hotel. Out makes this hotel easily found when coming and going. There were complimentary waters in refrigerator. Sweet. Bed comfortable and plush. Very clean hotel.. modern style. We will return.

We really enjoyed our stay!!! The staff were very friendly and hard working! The indoor pool was amazing! The water was nice and warm. Breakfast was wonderful! A lot of options: pancakes, bacon, turkey sausage, egg white veggie omelette, scrambled eggs, biscuits w/ gravy, oatmeal w/ toppings, cereal, bagels, muffins, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, apples, oranges, and more! Coffee, hot cocoa and tea were available all day in the lobby. Everything was perfect!!!

We addressed our displeasure with mgmt and expedia. Our room was not cleaned 3 out 7 days we stayed. They made it right with refunded amount. Disheartening experience to return daily to room not serviced.

The Holiday Inn Express in Festus is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time. All of the staff, from check-in, to housekeeping, to breakfast, and check out were super helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was very clean, quiet and welcoming. And, I can’t even explain how comfortable the room was (I had a king suite). All around outstanding experience!

A little disappointed. They put us on the second floor directly over the pool. I finally put my earbuds in to block out all the noise. I wish they would have asked me if it was ok, we checked in at 3:30 so it wasn’t a last minute unfilled room.

Good stay right off 55. Try to avoid room 207 and other odd rooms near by on that floor as it is right above the pool and from 8 am- 10 pm you can hear loud pool noise. Great bed, pillows a little flat. Very nice breakfast with huge selection.

Recently remodeled Holiday Inn, pleasant front desk staff with a smooth check in process. The room was very clean and looked updated. The beds were comfortable and air conditioner worked great. The breakfast had a good variety and was clean and well stocked. Quiet location right off the freeway.

Terrible breakfast offerings, paper thin walls. Heard neighbors into the night along with excruciating road noise ie motorcycles, pickup trucks and other vehicles racing on streets & roads adjacent to the property. Lack of any close decent dining.
