The outside was nice. The room was a disappointment. The pillows had stains. The bathroom door lower hinge came out of the wall. Unable to close bathroom door. No ice machine. Would not recommend anyone to stay there.

No lobby area so you have to wait in either a tiny room, a warm hallway or outside to check in. You can tell the property is old. It isn’t “dirty disgusting” but it definitely is dirty. Stains and cigarette burns on the comforter, hard wood floors that weren’t swept well and just well used appliances and bathrooms. No curtains to block the parking lot lights, able to hear people in the hallways LOUDLY; the convenience of the price and being next to an Anytime fitness was the selling point for me.

Absolutely the most disgusting property I have ever spent time at. I had to hold my nose to even get on the filthy elevator, and the hallways had trash on the floor and an overwhelming stench. There were blatant security issues as well. When I checked in the clerk let me know that none of the outside access doors locked anymore so they were all just propped open. Not only that, but they required a $100 deposit and have not refunded that even though the stay was nearly a week ago.

I like the property. I did not like that there were no overnight staff. The laundry is way overpriced. Too many parties in the parking lot..shower curtain was not installed properly. And management, without my consent tried to charge me 250 dollars for smoking in the room. I do not smoke. I’ve used Expedia for 3 years, with company trips. This one was to bury my father. I am not happy, because a maid determined there was smoke do they get to take 250 dollars? Not okay.

It was dirty and smelled. There was hair in my shower. I counted 4 different colors of paint on the wall. The lock on door was broken. The bed just sits on a frame and felt like a jail cot. My back is killing me now! They wanted a $100 deposit for something not worth the room rate alone. This was my first time at a hotel in years and never aggain! I will keep doing Airbnb. Much better bang for my buck!!!

Stayed two nights during the week. The room had a strange odor when we got there, however, lighting a candle and opening the window to let fresh air in helped get rid of the smell. Otherwise it was pretty clean. Also, the two pillows on the bed were very flat. So flat that we put both pillows in one pillow case and went to the department store up the street and bought another one. I like that you have to have a key card to enter the building.

No blackout curtains the outside light was right in our window. The phone didn’t work to call the upstairs neighbors to ask them to please be a tab bit quieter at 11:00 pm. The place was just not clean. The sheets were stain with what looked like blood. There was only 1 little piece of soap. We have a 9 hour drive on a little bit of sleep. Oh and $100.00 deposit was required.

Overpriced for the very small rooms & a full size bed. They have a gnat issue in the rooms. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was not installed properly & had a huge gap around it. They advertise that a standard room can sleep 2 but you won't be able to move while sleeping. The staff act nice but if there is any issues they are not nice at all.

I didn't even stay. The staff is horrible and rude. The front desk lady Ashly is rude and disrespectful and the wannabe GM who came from a warehouse and never worked in hotel hospitality stole my money and refused to give it back. If you are looking for a not so cheap, ran down, dirty, stinky, bug infested hotel that has lots of shady guests then this is the place, but if not then look elsewhere. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE EVER!!!! AND IF YOU GIVE A BAD REVIEW THEY PUT YOU ON THE DNR LIST. Bad business ethics.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am not sure but I feel like they tried to scam me. When I was checking in, the guy at the front said Expedia's card was declined sand I had to talk with them. I have traveled with Expedia for awhile now and have never had this issue. Before I got an Expedia representative to call the hotel, the guy checking me in asked if I had a different card I could pay with and I advised him I'm not paying twice as the charge already went through on my credit card. Got someone from Expedia to call and the hotel staff was super rude to him and immediately told him I was already checked in but literally 2 mins prior he was telling me it was denied. When I finally got checked in, they gave me a room that already had someone in it. I walked right in and someone was already asleep in the bed. Had to go back down to inform them and the 2 staff members made inappropriate comments about me having bad luck. In short, don't stay here. Complete nightmare!

When I arrived the guy at the front desk was immediately racist, impatient and rude ! After I paid he said my guest couldn’t come in because they didn’t have an ID. Also there were people walking around looking like they were on drugs. I did not feel safe and when I went to the room and tried to lay down it smelled stinky and their were loud disturbances and people screaming I left within an hour of checking in and asked for a refund and have yet to recieve a response.

Based on Expedias description, photos, and rating I selected this property. Traveled to KC for a memorial. I attemped to check in at 4:52. Ceck in is 3:00 pm. I was told by Dave at this they had no idea what rooms were clean so he wouldn't check me in. The room I actually reserved (2 double beds) they didnt have this updated reservation although I shared the confirmation # and email. Being tired I tell them just give me a room. A woman stopped in the office said they have clean sheets on beds but they aren't made and no towels in rooms because they are in the washer so I should try back in 30 minutes. As you can imagine I am frustrated, hungry and just want to get to my room after driving into town first thing in the morning straight to the memorial and afterwards to the hotel. I leave to go eat with family and return at 9:20pm to attempt to check in again. Dave is the only person working and tells me I need to wait as he helps the guest before me get into her room; after 2 trips Dave checks me in. Getting off on the 2nd floor met with more of the smell. The room is nothing like photos on Expedia. Double bed is a full on an iron frame no box spring. Bathroom floor dirty. I refuse to stay Dave refuses my refund. 1 hr17 min later Expedia is no help with refund or relocating me to a new hotel!
Based on Expedias description, photos, and rating I selected this property. Traveled to KC for a memorial. I attemped to check in at 4:52. Ceck in is 3:00 pm. I was told by Dave at this they had no idea what rooms were clean so he wouldn't check me in. The room I actually reserved (2 double beds) they didnt have this updated reservation although I shared the confirmation # and email. Being tired I tell them just give me a room. A woman stopped in the office said they have clean sheets on beds but they aren't made and no towels in rooms because they are in the washer so I should try back in 30 minutes. As you can imagine I am frustrated, hungry and just want to get to my room after driving into town first thing in the morning straight to the memorial and afterwards to the hotel. I leave to go eat with family and return at 9:20pm to attempt to check in again. Dave is the only person working and tells me I need to wait as he helps the guest before me get into her room; after 2 trips Dave checks me in. I like the property. I did not like that there were no overnight staff. The laundry is way overpriced. Too many parties in the parking lot..shower curtain was not installed properly. And management, without my consent tried to charge me 250 dollars for smoking in the room. I do not smoke. I’ve used Expedia for 3 years, with company trips. This one was to bury my father. I am not happy, because a maid determined there was smoke do they get to take 250 dollars? Not okay.

The guy at the front desk was rude and short. I reserved a queen single bed and got a twin single bed. The hotel has broken down cars with shattered glass sitting in parking lot. Walls have smears of who knows what. Elevator is disgusting. Entire hotel smells of marijauna. Very outdated. There was hair all over the toilet and bathtub. Food from previous people in the refrigerator. Do not stay here!!!!!!

Upon arrival, I got this angry old white guy which had a very bad attitude, and I should have left fight at this moment, but I was tried, and it was really late. I was given Room 229 which was right next to the Highway which I didn't get any sleep due to the loud noise from the Highway traffic. I personally think that clerk did it on purpose. The bed was hard like a rock & No Clothes iron in the room at all! Truly feel that actual 'homeless' folks live here! The place is ran down, everything old & nasty. Just a place I'm not use too. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my emeries! Also, I have pictures of holes in the door just in case someone tries to charge me additional cost for exsisting damages

This hotel is also being used as Section 8 housing. We did not feel safe. There were no queen beds, only full size. Rooms are extremely basic. Paint on walls is very beat up. One thin blanket on bed. Would not recommend.

Absolutely the most disgusting property I have ever spent time at. I had to hold my nose to even get on the filthy elevator, and the hallways had trash on the floor and an overwhelming stench. There were blatant security issues as well. When I checked in the clerk let me know that none of the outside access doors locked anymore so they were all just propped open. Not only that, but they required a $100 deposit and have not refunded that even though the stay was nearly a week ago.

Although the room was clean it did need some upgrades. Even though it had a kitchenette, there was absolutely nothing in the kitchen. A coffee maker would have nice since didn't even serve coffee in the lobby or any place. Some plastic cups also would be nice. There is no way I will ever stay here again.

If you were in a bind and needed a place to sleep it would do. It wouldn't be your first choice. Common area smelled like smoke. Everything looked old and used up. I have to say the front desk person was very nice and understanding. It didn't have any amenities. The room was clean, there's not much that could be done to make the very old things look better. We only stayed one might in both rooms.

My friend and I had reservations. When we arrived after the check in time, one room was ready and one was not. One room the door was hard to push open and the refrigerator made a horrible loud noise. The other room had a very bad odor. The security lock on the inside was broken. Even though there was a cooktop, full size refrigerator in each room there were no cups or dishes to use. We were unable to stay and the staff cheerfully refunded our money. The hotel was booked solid so there were no other rooms available. Will not be back there again.
