How could a property be clean and sanitary if there’s no hot water?!? Staying from Wednesday until Sunday (Aug 14-18) and not one drop of hot water! They blatantly lied at the property and said the water would be fixed that day, then the next day, then the next day… Three days there was absolutely no water!! They made no monetary concession. They were completely rude and disrespectful! Haven’t decided if I’m gonna move forward and take this up with the city. I’m going back and reading all the other reviews. Truth is, this hotel was out of water the Sunday before I even checked in. They blatantly lied and had the audacity to be rude and think it was funny that we couldn’t find a hotel even close to what we had booked that one for. We booked it in advance for five days. Every person in that facility needs a class on decent customer service and whoever is in charge needs to Go to mandatory class on how to speak to people, run a business, what to say and what not to say… The list goes on and on! How on earth this property is rated wonderful is beyond me… It is not a wonderful property in any way, shape or form!!! I actually waited until now to do the review because I Needed a bit of time to calm down & I just cannot believe a hotel can operate and be this arrogant in such a competitive world!?!?

First day we got there are room smelled like a dead body was in it for days. I went back down to the Desk and the argued with me that it didn’t smell. Because the last person who stayed there smelled and that they used an ozone machine that passed the room to be used. Smelled like it was a mixture of urine and a dead body. After arguing they final moved our room and my sons room down to the other end of the hotel. 2nd I went to use the gym that had a broken cable system and a water cooler with an empty bottle. I notified the desk about both the cables never got repaired and the water bottle was never replaced in the 5 days we were there. Also the pool was closed so the kids were disappointed . But were never told this when we booked . Lastly they had a little league tournament going on in KC city and there were hundreds of kids running up and down the hall ring and knock on the door of our rooms. Was very surprised that this was a Wyndham hotel since I just spent 5 days before in a Wyndham resort in Branson. Worse stay ever.

The hostess was smoking at the front door when we arrived. Then we found out the pool was out of service even though we had used the filter for “swimming pool” on hotels.com. Our 4 year old was sad because we had been telling him we could swim when we arrived. They had some renovations going on so there were wires hanging everywhere and dust all over the floor. The construction mess was mostly cleaned the next morning at least. The breakfast was being closed down early the next morning. Overall the cleanliness of the rooms was perfectly fine, just the other stuff that was really unfortunate.

They came so close to getting 5 stars, but there were a couple of major snafus that seem like ongoing issues. Cosmetically, the place is very pleasant, and my room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It's right on a highway but set back off the road, so it's very quiet. Breakfast is basic, but fine, and the coffee is fresh and good. My first morning there, when I started the shower, barely any water was coming out. Then after a few minutes, the water completely stopped! When I told the front desk clerk about it, she said that's what happens when too many people try to shower at once. Um, this is a hotel. Most people are going to want to shower in the morning. The water pressure was like a firehose the next 2 days after that. Very odd. The second issue was with the elevator. Someone got stuck in it on my second night, and then it was out of service for the entire next day. I was fine with the stairs, but I imagine not everyone would be. I know this kind of thing can happen with any hotel, but going back through the reviews on this site, it seems like it was not the first time. So if it weren't for those pretty significant shortcomings, I would recommend this place as a good value for a comfortable stay.

No Hot Water. Was told upon arrival I could get a refund but after driving all day and having such a short notice chose to stay. They said “luke warm water” but I didn’t experience any sort of warmth at all. After reading reviews this looks like it’s been an issue for weeks/months.

This hotel is very clean, it's only 3 years old so everything was in good shape... Except... Water pressure is almost non-existent. One morning there wasn't enough pressure to make the shower work. Also, the sink in our room was very close to completely clogged. Something I'm sure the maintenance people will fix with no problem, but still a bit of an annoyance. We happened to be there at a time of a major storm in the area, so the truck bringing the supplies for breakfast wasn't able to make it, so breakfast was a bit lacking. That, of course, is not the hotels fault, they can't control the weather! The staff was very nice and courteous, the rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Overall, a nice place to stay at a reasonable price.

Overall, this was a newer, very clean and comfortable hotel stay. My only complaint was the gym was very limited in equipment.

When I checked in they advised there was no hot water, irritating, but fine. In the morning there was no water whatsoever.

Told in advance that water heater was down. Emplyee thought we may have a cold shower to look forward to. Signed a notice when we arrived. As it turns out, we only had a trickle of water pressure in our shower/bath! All other water fixtures at least had water pressure. Disappointed is all I can say.

Just not the best overall experience room was dirty not wiped down or vacuumed and then they switched me rooms and the next room was the same and the bed linen had blood stains

The property was very clean and quiet.

There were chunks of hair in the tub and stains on the sheets.

The hotel room was filthy and we asked to switch rooms. The beds had obviously been slept in and never changed bedding. The previous occupant had left dirty clothing and food all over the furniture. They switched our room, to only be put in a DIRTIER ROOM, with bedding that had bodily fluids on the beds. We returned to front desk, where the front desk man snatched the keys from my hand and threw them on the floor telling us " there's the door." We did NOT stay and will go to corporate regarding this incident.

The sink in the bathroom is slow drain and hairs in the sink. Also big stain on the carpet.

DO NOT STAY! Book at the Home2Suites instead. They share a parking lot. When I got to the property, their washing machine had gone out, so they had trouble checking people in. The staff was able to check us in right on time. But that's the ONLY good thing about this experience We noticed balls of hair in the elevator when we transported our luggage to our room. Upon arrival, the room seemed to be okay, but I started to see how dirty it was. There was hair on the wall dryer. The faucet for the tub was jutting out of the wall. The showerhead had visible stains. there was a visible crust caked up in the room's corners. The shower had almost NO pressure and CUT OFF in the middle of my shower! The bed had a hair on it and the sheet was visibly dirty. I called the front desk multiple times and no answer. Finally, after calling the Wyndham headquarters to file a complaint and get a refund, I was able to contact the front desk. They informed me that they couldn't process a refund because their manager was not present and also showed no concern for the lack of plumbing, a basic NEED. On top of that, they lied to Expedia and said we used their facilities to get ready and leave. We'd driven 11 hours to the location to see Beyonce and were highly inconvenienced by this blunder.

Check in was terrific. The room was very comfortable, stocked with all necessary items like refrigerator, microwave, ironing board, hairdryer. Bed was Excellent! Decor is modern, lots of cubbies and shelves to store stuff. The breakfast was meh, typical for most hotels. My one complaint was bathroom cleanliness. Hair and dirt behind the door, wrapper in the tub, and damp towel and washcloth hanging up with dry towels. I would definitely stay again.

Real bad bugs and blood all ovet the bottom of the mattress and it was still wet... Smh

It is a clean, quiet property in a safe location. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Everything exceeded my expectations.

Good location with access to restaurants, stores,etc. We found the property to be clean and comfortable. We were visiting Holladay and it was a 25 min drive. Lots of parking. Ask for a high floor if a light sleeper. We heard our upstairs neighbor stomping around most of the night.

I didn’t need an accessible room. It was clean, except sticky handprints on the window. A/C worked well. Sadly, the acoustics are horrible in the lobby. The walls of my room rattled every time a hallway door was shut. Loud slamming!! Breakfast was okay. Staff in the morning were unprofessional when discussing the guests.

Room was supposed to be a queen bed, was actually a double bed, which was not what we paid for. Night clerk was rude, day clerk was nice. Shower was barely adequate , breakfast was disappointing as we were anticipating a hot breakfast with eggs, etc.

The biggest issue is that beds are advertised as being queen size and they most certainly are not. I expected Queen size and my husband and I had the worst sleep ever in full size beds. False advertising. Rooms were pretty clean. Our toilet ran constantly unless we jiggled the handle. Breakfast was nothing to talk about. You could make a waffle or have some cereal. We ended up going out for a real breakfast.

Clean, convenient and great price for an overnight! Would have liked to have had a more comfortable chair to sit on, the only one provided was a small desk chair. It was either that or the bed. I had a room with a single queen bed, there’s plenty of room for a chair to sit on while reading or watching tv. Other than that my stay was perfect. Would definitely stay again next time I travel through the area.

Could hear the upstairs shower draining down the pipe in the wall. Heard every footstep and talking. They were up at 4:30 am until 6 running in circles I'm guessing.

My daughter and I had an average-to-above-average stay at the Microtel Inn & Suites in Liberty, MO. The room was clean, and the location was convenient. However, what completely soured the experience was being overcharged by $35. I booked through Hotels.com, and the amount I was billed did not match my reservation. When I tried to resolve the issue, both Hotels.com and the hotel staff blamed each other and refused to take responsibility. I spent hours on the phone getting nowhere. In the end, I was simply told, “There’s nothing we can do.” This is unacceptable. I paid more than I agreed to, and neither company cared to make it right. If you're considering staying here—or using Hotels.com to book your trip—think twice. The lack of accountability and customer service is shocking. I won’t be booking with Microtel or Hotels.com again, and I recommend others avoid them as well.

Everything went well at this location, and all of the staff was very helpful and the breakfast was very good. Emily, Jennifer, Ashley, Justin, Jimmy & Eric all were very helpful & very polite and took time out for me when I asked questions. This is a perfect staff and I mean that. Room was very clean & kept clean throughout the 4 day stay we had. God Bless Us All ✝️🙏

Super friendly staff the GM went above and beyond she was friendly efficient and overall a great person the hotels breakfast was amazing. The housekeepers were so nice, helpful and considerate of my young kids. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in I will only stay at microtel from here on out! Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!

The management and staff were very kind and informative. Lobby was kept clean when snow was on the ground. We’ve booked a 3 day stay here again. This is our go to place instead of KC. Thanks for making our stay wonderful.

Amazing amazing. I can't give enough great reviews about this place and it's staff. Christina, Emily, Shawn and Jennifer are so nice and polite.

After a very long drive the clerk was not in the mood for helping us. i didn't have the right card right away and she was going to turn us away instead of trying to help us figure out what the problem was. We did have a "real" bank card to pay so we got to stay. Sign in the elevator said "if you jump or horseplay in the elevator you get kicked out with no refund" No water pressure in the bathroom. I counted to six to fill my hands with water to wash my face if that gives you an idea of how low the pressure was. Not one employee we passed or encountered while we were there said anything. Nothing. Looked at us, but didn't even say hello or smile. Nobody seems to like working there for sure. The room was clean so we stayed, but we will not again. My son just moved to liberty and we live in Chicago. We will be spending quite a bit a local hotels there. Please just keep looking. There are a lot of really nice hotels around there that I'm sure want guests!

Liked the check in ahead feature. Great area for shopping & eating. Stayed after Chiefs preseason game. Very clean and comfortable.

Came here for the Hallmark experience and decided to stay outside of city center. Lots of great restaurants and shopping around and it was easy to access the highway to get downtown. Hotel was clean and quiet and I would definitely stay here again.

I like this location for it's interstate access and nearby stores and food options. Clean and comfortable. To get a get a 10, I'd like the staff to be a little more friendly and welcoming.

We purposefully returned to this hotel Both of our experiences have been excellent. The hotel is close to the freeway and restaurants.

Great breakfast, awesome staff, particularly overnight gentleman. Comfortable bed, clean room and facility. Great value. Definitely recommend!

Clean but dated. Outlets didn’t work well in our room so phones didn’t charge. Free breakfast was poor. We generally only book if there’s breakfast as we find there’s a savings but this was very weak. I think the staff did the best they could with what the company supplied.

This hotel is very quiet and clean. I liked the selection of breakfast foods available each morning as well. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here next time I am in the area.

Disappointing!! Beautiful, comfortable hotel. However, I had some work materials shipped there prior to my arrival and they rejected the shipment!! They need to check their reservations before rashly rejecting any shipments, especially if they cater to business people. If my reservation had not been pre-paid, I would have cancelled and gone somewhere else. Also, the breakfast was VERY Mediocre....not what I expected from a Microtel. No Bagels, no English Muffins, no boiled eggs, just bland toast and muffins, some yogurt and, of course, waffles....some of us do NOT eat waffles.

Decent hotel for the weekend. Beds were comfy. A/C had trouble keeping up and the hair dryer in the bathroom was broken…could have used a little more attention to details, such as the bathroom fan needs cleaning and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. Front desk employees were very nice and welcoming. Decent breakfast — waffle maker, toast, yogurt, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, coffee, milk, juices, muffins, fruit.

The hotel was clean - except for the room carpet. The free breakfast? Not worth being free , as it was little boxes of cereal with milk and some packaged muffins. I had driven for about 4.5 hours, but could not check in early, as she said they were doing laundry. So, really facility wasn’t awful - clean those room carpets and work on a bit better breakfast

It was easy check in and out process. It was quiet and nice to stay for the night!! Breakfast is only toast and cereal for future guests.

This is a basic roadside hotel. Clean, friendly staff. Hotel itself is a cheaply constructed building, but on a road trip, we get what we pay for. Breakfast was disappointing

Check in was quick and staff was attentive Was told limited breakfast due to east coast strike and unable to get supplies. Not really sure if this is accurate. Strike only last 3 days, our stay was 5 days after strike ended. I saw Sysco products delivered the morning of our checking out. Management/owners should have stepped up and gone out and bought all the missing items (3/4 of breakfast, coffee cups and lids) or given credit to customers as many likely had to buy their own breakfast somewhere else. A free breakfast is a key consideration for some of your clients.

Check in was easy, staff was friendly and helpful. Just get multiple emails confirming my reservation, like 4 of the same thing. Breakfast was lacking as their was nothing but bread, pastries, cereal, oatmeal and waffles and we can’t do that much carbs for breakfast. But overall a good night stay.
