The lobby was undergoing renovation. This was inconvenient: we could not go directly from the lobby to our room. We chose this property for the pool, but it was out of order. This should have been reported in the Expedia site and app.

I was HIGHLY disappointed that the pool clearly had been out of service for a very long time. It was the amenity I really wanted to enjoy, thus the low condition rating. Everything else was quite nice. The room was very clean, and the staff terrific. I left my dress in the clothes closet, not realizing I'd done so until I got a call. I've had that dress for 30 years, so it was a big deal to get it back. That was great. But their listing should not claim to have a pool.

The motel room was not carpeted. Television had minimal channels, most likely the cheapest TV service available. Making coffee was difficult as there was no light by the coffee maker. The lock on the outside door was broken and therefore open 24/7, no security at all! The most disappointing thing was that the pool and hot tub have been closed since covid and they have not reopened it. The pool and hot tub was a major consideration for staying there as we wanted use it with our grandkids. Very disappointed in Choice Hotels for allowing there brand to be associated with this motel! Will never stay there again.

We where there only one night. The area was quiet, clean and we felt safe. The hotel looked old, but the beds were nice and comfortable, the room was clean. The breakfast was okay. Eggs, Sausage, toast, bagels, waffles..etc. The pool was closed, it was being worked on. Don't remember seeing that when we booked. As I said we were in the area for a day, so we only stayed on night. For the price I would say it was worth it.

The front desk attendant was very personable and helpful. The hotel might be a bit older, but it is kept very clean and parking is very easy and Dion‘s pizza is right across the parking lot if you’d like to get pizza or salad or other items for dinner. The breakfast was also good in the hotel.

The staff was exceptional, but they had to be very apologetic about the pool. According to them, the pool has not had water in them since before the pandemic. The pool is advertised on Expedia and still on their sign at the location. But the pool and hot tub are completely in op. The hotel is using the entire pool area as a storage warehouse. You can see it through the windows. False advertising!

Arrived to a lobby covered in dust - redoing floor so we couldn’t check-in right away. No elevator and no rooms on first floor. Last straw- pool out of service. We specifically chose a hotel with pool for our granddaughter. Cancelled snd went to Days Inn.

Grounds surrounding the motel was kept clean The hotel itself had numerous flying ants in the room my wife & I stayed in This was reported to the night manager after some time was offered another room but since this incident took place at one in the am offer was declined I was told that no maintenance staff was available Morning manager was rude & refuse to discuss the difficulties that the flying ants cause. The second room that we had also encountered flying ants. In addition to this the fire alarm went off at four thirty in the morning. Nothing was done about this issue until we checked out. The person in room 118 also was charged twice. My wife & I were in 117. If you would like to discuss these issues Please call me at 719 242-4262 Respectfully Melvin Ward

So. Shoot. This was terrible for us. It is essentially a run-down motel. That's all you need to know. Selected it partially for the pool -- but surprise, there is no pool. Something about they're free to not have it operating because of Covid. In 2023. (Maybe take it off the listing, then?) Door to the outside of the building didn't lock, so anyone could come in. Room was dirty. Grossly stained chair. Broken lamp. Really, we're not even that picky, but everywhere you turned something was broken or uncleaned. Rough area, rough motel, rough experience. Avoid.

This location is right off a main road in Rio Rancho. Shopping and dining are withing a 3–5-mile drive. Area is safe. The hotel has had a few upgrades. The 2nd floor hallway is not carpeted for easier cleaning. The entrance to the room including the bathroom is the same flooring. The bed area is carpeted. Because of the lack of hallway carpeting, it is noisy in the hallway and that carries into the suites. Bed was fine and the shower water pressure and temperature was very good. Breakfast was just OK. It's a smaller room with limited options.

This property was only convenient to how close it was to my friend I was visiting. I was put in a second floor room. When I asked where the elevator was so I could take my luggage to the second floor, the front desk clerk smirked and pointed to a staircase. Upon entering our room, it reeked of body odor. The bed was okay and the shower pressure was good. Although the tub sounded like it was about to break while I stepped around inside it taking a shower.

This hotel isn't fancy and it doesn't have an elevator. That said, we really like it. It's clean, quiet, convenient when we visit family, and the price is good. The beds are comfortable and the refrigerator doesn't freeze everything in it! The temperature was easy to control, although the fan was a bit noisy. All in all, a good fir for us. Will stay here again!!

The rooms were very small and furniture fit too tight. Lighting was dim and poor. Area outside and around building was poorly maintained, and had no buffer between cars and building. Layout was poor, with laundry facility along the corridor. No seating in lobby, even paint color made it look dim and drab.

I have stayed in 2 1/2 star hotels but I don’t think this one was in the top tier in that group. The rooms were very dated and the mattress certainly had some history to it. The only food available was a vending machine that only took cash. I didn’t see an ATM machine on the premises. I’m not sure what everybody else is like in his post Covid world, but I seldom carry one dollar bills. Thankfully I found $1.50 in quarters, and therefore was able to purchase a candy bar. No streaming on the TV. I was actually interested in a quick work out but I didn’t see a room with a treadmill or a universal. Leslie would’ve been nice if breakfast was a little later than 9:30 AM on a Sunday. With that said, the morning staff was nice and even though I was 15 minutes late for breakfast, they let me stay and have a bowl of cereal.

After driving over 3hrs I showed up at property a little after 2 - roughly around 2:15pm. Lady at front desk refused to check me in until 3. I was tired but because I had already prepaid could not leave. I will not ever stay here again.

When i walked in to check in cashier was on ph didn’t acknowledge me. Then asked why pool was closed due to website saying it was open then ran my credit card for deposit for $150 and said would be 3-4 days before I would receive it. After asking if any other quality inn had vacancy due to room being nasty stated no and no able to be refunded due to booking on hotel.com.

The odors, probably from the cleaning supplies, we’re overwhelming. Got to hotel maybe 30 minutes early, and barely got in the door, when young lady behind counter, said in a very loud tone that check in was at 3:00, to come back then.

The front desk attendant was very personable and helpful. The hotel might be a bit older, but it is kept very clean and parking is very easy and Dion‘s pizza is right across the parking lot if you’d like to get pizza or salad or other items for dinner. The breakfast was also good in the hotel.

It was a decent stay up until our room started to flood with water. We are actually the couple who helped with getting the water away and cleaned up but absolutely no gratitude or appreciation was given at all. We stayed in room 112 and we went to grab some ice and didn’t even know our room had started to retrieve water. A few pairs of our shoes were soaked and nobody even came around to ask if we were in need of extra towels or blankets because we had used these items to block the doorway so that the water would not continue to come in our room.

Hotel was kind of run down. They required a 150 dollar deposit for incidentals which we thought was kind of steep. Rooms were old and it looked like it may be under renovations. We only stayed because it was closest to an event we attended. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

This location is right off a main road in Rio Rancho. Shopping and dining are withing a 3–5-mile drive. Area is safe. The hotel has had a few upgrades. The 2nd floor hallway is not carpeted for easier cleaning. The entrance to the room including the bathroom is the same flooring. The bed area is carpeted. Because of the lack of hallway carpeting, it is noisy in the hallway and that carries into the suites. Bed was fine and the shower water pressure and temperature was very good. Breakfast was just OK. It's a smaller room with limited options.

I love everything about this Quality Inn except for its breakfast. I've stayed at other Quality Inns and they serve a full hot breakfast. The only thing I've had at this hotel for three mornings is the yogurt. A warm, hot breakfast is the last thing you do in the morning before you check. A nice breakfast puts a smile on our face when you check out. I won't have one!

We were just passing through Rio Rancho and needed a clean bed and a quick breakfast. 1 out of 2 is ok, I guess. The staff was quick at check in and our room was very clean, even the bathroom, which tend to be problem areas in hotels. When we arrived I noticed, CONTRARY to the hotel information online the pool was not available and the mgt has crossed out "hot" from their breakfast options. It was a slightly upgraded continental. It\'s only a 2 star so continental wouldn\'t be a big deal, but the deception is unacceptable. If I know up front, I can make a choice instead of have it made for me. We had a double queen. Both beds were fine. TV worked, very few channel options but that wasn\'t really an issue since we were there such a short stay. The mini fridge was barely cold. That could certainly be improved. Water pressure and A/C also good.

A very good stay for business. Great location to get in and out of Rio Rancho. A complaint was the breakfast. It was a continental breakfast but the offerings were disappointing. The pastries were poor. No boiled eggs or bananas. I just had a yogurt. I stayed at a Quality Inn in Farmington the week before and they had a full breakfast. The TV reception was going in and out and freezing for a a second and was not HD. But still a good place to stay.

We had problems with our reservation on the reservation app and the front desk clerk and manager were both very helpful. We had a very comfortable stay. The bed did sag in the middle but was still comfortable.

Nice small motel. Clean rooms, and good continental breakfast. Only thing that was not good is the bed was pretty squeaky when you moved, also air conditioning was pretty loud.
