We couldn't ask for a better spot to spend our time in Lake George. Easily the most spectacular views of the lake. Comfortable accommodations, with great dining options on site, and great staff. There was something for everyone to feel welcome and entertained. Very family friendly (outdoor and indoor pools, plenty of green space,) while also having a fantastic veranda where you could relax, read a book, enjoy the lake views, and sip refreshments from the veranda bar. The location is a short walk to the lake walk, with shopping & restaurants. We look forward to returning.

Beautiful property. Need more outlets in the rooms. Need full length mirrors. Needs a fitness center, with all the other features and no fitness center I was shocked. Never been to a hotel without one. Pool hours should also be extended.

I didn’t know there was a “motel” portion in addition to the main building. The Mountain View was really a parking lot view, while the bathroom was updated the rest of the room was tired, dark. No outlets, no usb outlets for chargers, the coffee and coffee maker you pay $19 “resort fee” for that comes with powder creamer and sweet n low (what is this the 70s) is horrible and weak. Pool not heated. Food service at pool ends at 4 and the walk to the restaurant to get food is long. Lakeside restaurant: chicken Marsala: overcooked fried chicken. Fried chicken is for Parmesan not Marsala. Morning breakfast we said we were in a hurry, waited and waited and had to get up and leave bc our waitress never checked and our order never went to the kitchen. I was expecting a lot more from a place that calls itself a resort to distinguish itself from the other motels on the Lake George strip but it was indistinguishable and I would have probably been happier and saved money at another place. Positive: location and view of lake from pool.

Beautiful views. Great location walkable to everything in town. Rooms are updated and comfortable. The outside pool area needs updating and a heater. The indoor pool could use updates but warm, good ventilation from the chlorine, sauna was great, and the hot tub was nice. Enjoyed our stay.

Fort William Henry Resort is beautiful, with tons of amenities that are worthwhile. My only regret is not having the time to really take advantage of the beautiful Olympic size pool this time around. There is so much to do Within the property itself. We have visited the Fort, had lunch at the Lookout cafe and breakfast at the White Lion. The views from here are just breathtakingly gorgeous. I would recommend renting a fire pit and just relaxing on the Veranda. Also, make sure you get here for Fireworks on Thursday night.

The view was lovely. Stayed on the lake view side. The room was clean. The big issue was the bathroom. The lock on the door was jammed, and the door slides closed and leaves a huge gap. The sink drains very slowly and the drain in the shower was left out on the side. When I looked at the vent it was full of dust I wanted to make a cup of coffee and the machine in the room was filthy, thankfully they had a coffee station in the main hotel area. Overall, you stay here for the views, not for the amenities. It was an ok stay.

Staff was great for our whole stay. Very friendly and attentive. The pool was very nice and you can't beat the location. Great walking distance to anything. The lobby area and outdoor areas were nice. The rooms are in desperate need of an update. The rooms are very outdated and uncomfortable. The beds were so worn there was no support left. You and the person you sleep with will roll into the middle of the bed like an air mattress. The pull out couch was unusable for my kid. The only thing left of it were springs. The couch itself didnt have support and was so worn you couldn't sit in it. I doubt they change the air filters in the wall AC units as the air came out with a musty smell. Bathrooms were very outdated. For the price, it's not worth it overall. I wouldn't go back unless they did some renovations.

It was ok, ice machine gave out ice with moldy black specks on the ice. The toilet would fill with water when another room flushed. Few bugs in the bathroom. Room door sticks so you need to slam it closed, this caused it to be very loud all night. Very expensive for just an average room.

The hotel was centrally located and beautiful on the outside and nice rooms overlooking the lake. Hotel staff was very friendly and parking ample. The only issues were extremely poor shower water pressure and an item of clothing left in the room from previous guests which made us question how thoroughly it was cleaned.

The room was clean, but the windows were dirty. There was a very loud wedding. I mentioned the noise at the front desk but it was ignored. The location is the main reason I stayed here.

We were in the older section of the hotel with water view which was lovely. The rooms are older and kind of dark. Bathroom has been renovated. Parts to AC kept falling off. We also had other family members with us but they were put in newer section of the hotel, which required much back and forth. Both reservations were done at the same time.

I liked this hotel because of the location. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. Lots of activities and food in the area. Be advised that there are three different types of accommodation in the place. When booking you don’t know which building you will be staying in. Only if the room says Grand when booking, then it is the big building. Otherwise it will be the motel type building or the small hotel type. We stayed in the motel type building which was fine because we booked a lake view room and had perfect view of the lake from the room. There are no fridge or microwave in the rooms. We took a cooler and used as a fridge. There is a microwave in the Grand hotel next door which we used to warm leftovers. It would be nice to have a small fridge and microwave because the room has a space for it. I never stayed at any hotel that didn’t have a fridge before. Room was remodeled and bathroom was nice size with Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash on the wall. Pool was really nice, overlooking Lake George. I would definitely recommend this hotel and go again.

Our family had a wonderful vacation at Fort William Henry resort. Love the updates they made to the rooms. The views are amazing and it is located close to everything. Only downfall was the spotty wi-fi!

Our room was not ready for chech in at 4:00pm so they said they would call when room was ready but they never did. We eventually went back to the front desk and they said our room was ready but they didn’t call us because they were too busy. Our lakeview room was obstructed by trees and we could not see the lake very well. The room should be listed as partial lake view.

The service was incredible. The room we stayed in was outstanding. Everything is within walking distance of the hotel. John and Christy at the front desk were friendly, personable, and kind. Mai, the housekeeper did a great job! We had dinner at the restaurant and our server Taylor was very efficient and kind. Food during breakfast and dinner was excellent! This hotel is the best place to go when you’re visiting lake George, due to the convenience, cleanliness and their hotel staff. We love staying here and will be back next winter. Thank you for always exceeding our expectations!!

We love staying at the FW Henry GH. The rooms are comfortable, clean and roomy. The staff is the best and most accommodating. The food in the white Lion dining hall is great. Hotel bar and convenient close walk to the action. Checks all of the boxes!

Great hotel. Friendly staff. The food at the restaurant was great! Shout out to Marie at the restaurant for being absolutely incredible and accommodating. Marie is the BEST!! She made our stay better and would love to visit again.

Fun overnight in the winter. Visited Winter Realms and Winter's Dream attractions. The hotel was centrally located, had plenty of parking, clean comfortable room, and small, heated indoor pool. The on site restaurant has good food and service. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint was lack of outlets in the room near the beds. Beautiful premises and views of the lake and mountains. Will book again!
