The stay was terrible . The reservation I made was unavailable once we arrived to check in. My reservation had 2 queen beds a baby crib and a head massager in the shower. They moved us to a room with 2 standard beds no baby crib and no head massager . The 4th floor where we were placed at didn’t have air conditioner. While taking my stuff up to the room the hall ways were very hot. My family and I were sweating . When we walked in the room one of the beds wasn’t properly made and the roll of toilet paper in the bathroom was halfway used!!!. Once we checked front desk refused to give us a checkout ticket or receipt as well. They also refused to give us one for our deposit.

For this to be a Hampton, I was disappointed. There was only one elevator working due to remodeling; the pool area was kinda sketchy and no pool chairs available for anyone to sit; breakfast was bad due to everything being out and us needing to ask for refills on mostly everything; coffee was never hot-I was able to drink the coffee like a normal beverage; noise level through the windows was bad, especially at night- everything can be heard; AC was interesting- sounded like it was powered by water; safe in the room was not functioning; not enough towels upon arrival; sugar ants were on the nightstand; window actually opens up all the way and for being on the 4th floor, safety is a huge concern. Highly disappointed with the quality of this hotel and I never have this many issues on one single stay.

If I would have known the property was being remolded I would have never booked, the comments said the fitness center was being renovated. Heater was very noisy and constantly changing from hot to cold. The shower water pressure was very weak and the water temperature was barely warm.

The property is under construction which was not indicated under property information. The AC did not cool the room enough to require a comforter to sleep. I was not told upon check in it was known the hot water heater was not working. Toughed out two nights of cold showers then opted to end my stay early and stay at an alternate hotel. I realize these are all first world problems but when booking a hotel stay it would be expected these things would be working.

Property is undergoing renovation. I had a flat after pulling into the parking lot and running over a new galvanized construction nail. Contractor is sloppy and not careful about refuse in the parking lot. Hotel is ultimately responsible for safety of guests and their cars.

Until now, my experiences have generally been fine, despite the hotel undergoing renovations for a long time. However, during my most recent visit, I encountered several issues. The bathroom lacked towel hangers, and the TV was not functional, even though I reported the problem twice without any follow-up action. Additionally, I requested a thorough cleaning of my room, but the staff only made the beds and replaced the towels, leaving the floor covered in the same dust and paper that had been there before. Pictures don't show what the property really looks like. Feels like a cheap motel. No towels on check in. Walls unpainted. Tiles in bathroom falling out. Mattress was very uncomfortable. Terrible lighting in the room. Side door access not working. Staff unfriendly and doesn't even smile. Terrible hotel and couldn't wait to get out of there.

I wish I would have been informed about the hotel being under construction prior to my stay. The gentleman at the counter was super friendly. But the room was not up to par. Trash left on the floor the floor was sticky , just not what I was expecting for my family and self, little upset about the room being dirty!!

We did not stay because the room smelled, carpet was filthy and was dirty and old. The hallway carpet was filthy. We ended up getting refund and leaving to another hotel. I wish Hotels.com would visit the hotels before offering them on your website. Not worth the price!!!!!

There is better options on the city. Not a Hampton Inn quality at all. I paid $170 per night and they didn't even did the rooms. We came back late and no clean room, no new towels. The sheets were with holes and there were weird roaches inside. Very much dissapointed. Not what you deserved from Hilton.

There was a musky smell in my room. I ended up with a headache from the day I got there until the day I checked out. I went to talk to management but was told the person I needed to dish to was busy in a meeting and that I would get a call back. I never received a call.

The hotel is under construction but we were comfortable with upgrades. Pros- cleanliness, tv streaming option, wifi, ac works, comfy bed, helpful front desk and maintenance, close by eating options (walking distance) Cons- per my preference I love big cup of coffee and the coffee from room & free breakfast was to small for my liking, sliding door in shower always opens while showering (caution since it’s glass), no vents for bathroom so you going to #2 take a freshener, mini fridge was dirty/smelled, room can be really quiet since ac is on auto setting (take some ear silencers). It was good though and I’ll be going back again soon

It was ok nothing special. Maybe the worst pillows I’ve had in a hotel. The bathtub/ shower diverter was stuck so as soon as I turned on the water I got sprayed and couldn’t take a bath. Towels were very small and scratchy. Shampoo and conditioner made my hair feel like straw. There was also hardly any hot water the shower was tepid at best. The room stayed cold or hot no in between had the heat on 80 just to be comfortable.

It was a family shopping trip, usually when stay in a hotel it is for resting and watching TV. Unfortunately when we arrived around 3-4pm we were not able to watch TV because the TV didn't work, we reported this immediately to the front desk and nothing happened, 2nd reminder call... nothing, 3rd reminder....nothing, I had to go again to reception to complain and they said they were fully booked so no option to change the room. After 3 hrs waiting, we left the hotel. The receptionist had very good attitude but I think she was in charge of many tasks at the same time and no other people was supporting her with maintenance related jobs. When we got back to the hotel about 10pm a different TV was already in the room. It was not a nice experience, I did not pay for this.

I felt unsafe and asked to switch rooms so I wasn't on the 1st floor in a handicap room with a shower n just wanted a room with tub not even a suite I didn't care just wanted off the 1st floor n she said since I booked 3rd party I couldn't switch and I said paid cash it wasn't through a 3rd party but since I found the room in Expedia I couldn't switch rooms unless I wanted to repay the full amount because they don't give cash refunds so we paid $600 for a hotel that we couldn't even switch to a different room

The Manager, Veronica "Vero" and all her staff went above and beyond to make my "unfortunate" stay at their AWESOME hotel a truly remarkable stay under my difficult family circumstance which is why I needed their gracious hotel to stay at!!! Vero and all the hotel staff were very professional, friendly, caring, kind, and made me feel very happy and content amidst my challenging family situation for approx 11 days. I highly recommend this Pharr TX Hampton Inn!!!

Whenever I go to McAllen I always stay at Hampton Inn Pharr. Is close to everything; restaurants, shops, etc and the staff is super friendly. I highly recommend this hotel!

The service at the reception was not good and there was no microwave in the room, nor is there a microwave in the restaurant. The breakfast is not the best, it lacks more variety... for the type of hotel it is, I did not like my stay at that particular hotel.

The breakfast can use some help. The food was not great. Maybe regular scrambled eggs and bacon. The chicken sausage looked uncooked and translucent. The omelets looked frozen. The dining room was dirty and tables sticky. It smelled like mildew.
