Indoor and Outdoor pool areas need to be updated, but pool time was a lot of fun- the kids enjoyed it!! Our room was VERY clean and hall and entry ways were clean and well taken care of. Check In was a breeze even though we were a little early.

Pictures looked good on line however the outside pool area needs attention. The chairs are flaking and pool was filthy with leaves and garbage! The outside area by pool has so much potential but in the state it's in should be closed!

The room was huge and comfortable. Happily surprised there are indoor and outdoor pools plus exercise room. Staff are friendly and efficient. It is very clean. Would stay here again next time I visit the area

The lobby of the hotel was nice and neat, and I was greeted immediately by the front desk. Check-in was a breeze. The room had both a hallway door as well as an exterior door, which was nice for unloading/loading. The pool area needs help. The bottom of the pool is very stained. The jacuzzi had dirt gathered in the bottom (I decided not to use it). The pool area furniture is obviously quite old, and most of the color has faded out of many chairs. The ladder to enter/exit the exterior portion of the pool was roped off with caution tape. The plastic curtain over the "channel" between the inside/outside pool areas is also very worn and faded. At the time we were visiting, there was also a very loud dehumidifier running in the pool area. The room itself was nice - large comfortable bed, TV in good shape, lamps all worked, bathroom was clean and inviting. Overall, I'm not sure that the stay overall was quite worth the $200 that I paid. Had I known about the pool condition (which was a good part of why I booked this location), we would have looked a bit further afield in perhaps Spring Green or Mineral Point.

Wish we could give this hotel 3.5 stars, it was better than 3, but not quite 4. Overall we had a quiet comfortable stay. We were on 1st floor, there may not be an elevator to the 2nd. The room had a very foul musty smell to it. The bathroom floor was dirty. The pool and hot tub were black in the bottom, and the pool area itself was very musty smelling, like they don’t have enough ventilation in it. The breakfast was much to be desired.

No hassle check-in and check-out, very clean, comfortable room. Breakfast was better than expected with scrambled eggs, sausage and gravy. With the othe normal continental breakfast items, and a do your own belgian waffles station to boot! No complaints.

This motel is excellent! It is extremely clean and well kept. The room was big and again, extremely clean. Carpets, furniture, linens and towels were all in excellent shape. No worn spots, or any sign of aging, anywhere. The dbl pools were nice, but we did not use them. All employees were very nice and friendly. The beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere was quiet. The location was perfect for us. We have no complaints.

Had a king bed plus a couch. Always love the option to sit on a chair or couch rather than the bed. There is no elevator and our bags were heavy. The desk clerk enthusiastically offered to help, but we declined.

We've stayed here for one night every October for the last 4 years and I think it just gets better. The woman who checked us in and the woman who checked us out were both very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. Plenty of channels and netflix if you have an account. For a chain hotel the breakfast is pretty decent and the room is its in is large was comforfable. Its very nice to have a large mini fridge and microwave in the room abd a big well lit bathroom with a tub. Couch in the room seems pretty worn out but its rare to even have a couch in a hotel room these days..

We absolutely loved this hotel. We entered in hotel with fresh smell. Ken has excellent customer service and knowledgeable. We had a king suite for one night. We stayed last year in Americinn by Wyndham that hotel was horrible and nesty so this time we decided to stay in Best western Dodgeville inn and suites. The rooms are large, clean and high quality. They are very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great and even had chocolate milk and Greek yogurt. The fitness room is small but we were the only ones working out. The indoor/outdoor pool with hot tub looked great but we didn't get around to using it. Excellent location Dodgeville . All of this for a very fair price! I highly recommend to everyone Best western in Dodgeville inn and suites not Americinn by Wyndham.

We stay here every time we go to House on the Rock. Its always been fine but this last visit was great. The woman at the front desk was training a new woman and they were both friendly and efficient. The room was a good size and very clean. There is a small pool that is half indoor and half out door that we slways get a kick out of. The breakfast is pretty average but its free and the woman tending it was very nice and it was very clean. Guy that checked me out in the morning was also very friendly. No issues at all. We will definitely be back next year.

The service we received was top notch. My husband and I stayed with our large dog for a weekend visiting with family. The staff were super helpful and kind. They even let us stay in the pool after close to spend time with family we don’t get to see often. Would absolutely stay again!

For one of the most expensive options in the area, it was a total let down. Save the money, it is no better than "budget" hotels. Our room was not ready at check in. Hotels charge now charge you for early check in or late check out. What if the room isn't ready? Any refund or even apology? Nothing. Not recommended. Crap place. Overpriced l

This motel is excellent! It is extremely clean and well kept. The room was big and again, extremely clean. Carpets, furniture, linens and towels were all in excellent shape. No worn spots, or any sign of aging, anywhere. The dbl pools were nice, but we did not use them. All employees were very nice and friendly. The beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere was quiet. The location was perfect for us. We have no complaints.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast ran out of eggs and sausages before we got there and it took over 15 minutes for more to come out. Our room door took some jiggling to get to latch and it looked like others had the same issue. No elevator, but they offered to carry the bag up if needed.

Not much around there for a good sit down meal. Had to drive to another town. Hotel was ok nothing exciting just for a night stay. Pool area looked old didn’t use it.

Wish we could give this hotel 3.5 stars, it was better than 3, but not quite 4. Overall we had a quiet comfortable stay. We were on 1st floor, there may not be an elevator to the 2nd. Breakfast was basic, we decided to go out on the 2nd day. They don’t have an automatic door in front, so you might struggle if have lots of luggage without help. Our room had a couple noticeably dusty areas, and a hole in the bathroom wall from the door handle. Not a huge concern just details. There was a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The Pool is indoor and outdoor, seems large but we didn’t use - it looks very family friendly. The hotel is an easy 25 drive to spring green if visiting Taliesen or House on the Rock.

We were in Dodgeville for the Land's End Warehouse Sale. This hotel was very clean, very spacious, in a great location and the front desk was helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend!

We have been coming to this area for 30 years, but this was our first stay in this hotel. We would return without hesitation, as everything about our stay was first-rate. We are a very well-traveled couple in our 70's and have our fussynesses. But we had absolutely no complaints about anything regarding this stay, from the attentive front desk staff to the spacious and well-kept rooms and the more than adequate breakfast. Indoor and outdoor pools were beautiful and well-kept up. The location was perfect for exploring any part of this idyllic part of Wisconsin, the "driftless" region. It is particularly close to Taliesin, House on the Rock, the charming arts and craft town of Mineral Point and the plays at American Players Theatre.

No hassle check-in and check-out, very clean, comfortable room. Breakfast was better than expected with scrambled eggs, sausage and gravy. With the othe normal continental breakfast items, and a do your own belgian waffles station to boot! No complaints.

We've stayed here for one night every October for the last 4 years and I think it just gets better. The woman who checked us in and the woman who checked us out were both very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. Plenty of channels and netflix if you have an account. For a chain hotel the breakfast is pretty decent and the room is its in is large was comforfable. Its very nice to have a large mini fridge and microwave in the room abd a big well lit bathroom with a tub. Couch in the room seems pretty worn out but its rare to even have a couch in a hotel room these days..

Very friendly staff - decent breakfast w/ hit food, but was shut down early on our last day. Kitchen helper did feel bad & made my youngest daughter a couple pancakes. Clean room - but found someone's fleece behind a chair that was missed. Sofa is a sleeper - it wasn’t advertised as one, so wondered if the bedding already on it was clean? Pool was great & is indoor/outdoor and was heated.

Priced a bit high on certain nights considering condition of hotel. Although the room was clean and the bedding was good, the grounds could be kept up better. Owners not as friendly as could be. Breakfast was just ok. Not too many options in this area to stay that is why we stay here.

What a sweet little spot for a quick overnight. Breakfast was good, and breakfast area was well stocked and clean. The rooms were very clean and cozy, and the bathrooms were so nice. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Didn’t use the pool, but it looked really nice! Reminded me of the old family run motels, even though it’s a best western now. I will say the walls were a bit thin, so if you had a very noisy neighbor that might be a problem, but it didn’t affect our stay. I would definitely stay here again. Affordable and close to all the fun things in the Spring Green area.

Took a solo trip to Wisconsin and had a great time. Room was way bigger than I thought it would be and the staff gave great suggestions for dinner. Everything was clean and the breakfast was top notch!!

The room was okay. It had a smart TV in it but none of the apps were available so we only were able to use local television stations. The pool was very outdated and run down. The outside pool had trash in it when we got there and the siding was falling off. So it just wasn't a very relaxing experience.
